Very pleasent room close to the airport with no airport noise. Confusing hallways, room direction signs could be larger. I will stay at the Cino Swiss again, mostly because of price and proximity to airport..

Arrived at 1145pm at hotel via shuttle bus. There were 30 people waiting to check in, most were in a group but it was impossible to determine whether there was more than one person checking people in. I waited 20-30 minutes and made my way to a counter where airline staff had just finished checking in and checked in otherwise I would still be in the queue! The managerial staff made no effort to check whether those of us in the queue belonged to the group. Otherwise stay satisfactory.

The only problem, is getting to the hotel. It seems as if all taxidrivers in Beijing do not know the way to Sino Swiss Hotel. Maybe because it is a very short way???? I have stayed at Sino more than 25 times, so i have to explain the way myself.

For a layover between flights, or for the final night before leaving Beijing via the airport this is a good choice. The shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport left on time, and was a very short ride to the airport. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel is very difficult to find, and is much less of an advantage than the shuttle from the hotel to the airport. Rooms are clean and quiet, and non-smoking rooms really are non-smoking (not always the case in China). Two small bottles of water were provided at no charge in the room - enough for a one-night stay. I did not use the restaurants, so cannot evaluate the quality, but there are several interesting choices. Checkin and checkout were very fast and efficient. A shopping area with a large supermarket, bakery, restaurants, etc. is just a short block away. There is a small fridge in the room, so you can purchase beverages, etc. at the supermarket very inexpensively and cool them in the room.

The out door dining area is inviting, relaxing and very pleasant. The hallway architecture is a bit confusing at first because of the building design. But the facilities fit very nicely into a manageable design. My first time visit to the hotel was a pleasure from the time of the free shuttle pick up to check out. On my many previous visits to Beijing I have stayed at the Lido, price drove me to the internet and I was very pleased with the result of the savings made by staying at the Cino Swiss. I will stay again on my return to the States and will be happy to recommend the hotel to friends and colleagues.

Landed Terminal 2 at 22:30 and could not find the free shuttle, tried also at Terminal 3. In the end caught a taxi at cost 14RMB. No problem booking space on shuttle back to the airport for the following monring. Used th einternet (no wifi but ethernet cable in the room) cost 20 RMB for the hour. Breakfast included and had great choice of English/Chinese/Continental foods.

I was pleased with the quality and services of this hotel. The travel desk was especially helpful is checking domestic flights and giving me the inside scoop on shopping. There are multiple restaurant that include both Asian and western choices. I will definitely stay here again. Thumbs up!

This hotel is a good choice because of its position near the airport and the free airport pick-up service offered. The room is good, but the bathroom is bad in regards of cleanliness, size and lack of maintenance. Free Internet is not available. Room's price is quite high in comparison with other much better hotels in Beijing and China of similar or even better rating.

I only use this hotel as an overnight layover en route from my home to a smaller city in SW China. The location is ideal for an evening arrival in Beijing, hot meal/shower, a decent sleep and easy exit to the airport the next morning. Their free hotel shuttle is difficult to find, a combination of poorly marked buses, Beijing Capital's lack of adequate signage directing travelers to the hotel shuttle area. Also, be prepared to be moderately gouged if you need to purchase anything there. It cost me 20 minutes and 7.00 USD to get two 16 ounce bottled waters at 600am one morning. Best to get out to the little village nearby and get what you need there instead of the hotel. I will use this hotel again and again, though, as the attributes I desire are there.
