The hotel staff is amazingly friendly and pleasant. I would return for this reason alone.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was nice. We took the bus to severl different places on the island, including Bridgetown, St. Lawrence Gap, Oistins, East Point Lighthouse and Crane Beach. Several days we sat in the sun.

The Hotel was GREAT.........The food at the hotel was very expensive......The AC WAS ONLY IN THE BEDROOM....

We were very surprised when we got to the hotel. It was already late when we got there but the check in process was painless and quick. The staff was very friendly and lead us straight to the restaurant so that we could have dinner. We were then lead to our room which exceeding our expecations. Having picked the hotel blindly (we had not been to Barbados before) we were not expecting it to be as nice as it was. It was suite style with a very large living room that opened to an equally nice balcony with a view of the ocean. A flat screen television and dvd/vcr combo completed the room. The bathroom was next and it had a very big shower with a great shower head. The bedroom was also spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It really was a very nice hotel. The only downsides I saw was that the location was a little far from the main areas of town and there was no direct access to the beach. It is, however, six minutes from the airport.

Hotel was close to airport but far away from everything else. Room was nice but small. Definitely try to get a room in the building right on the ocean. Pool was small but clean and refreshing. Wonderful lounge chairs and beds on the deck. We never had a problem getting a bed to lay on. Breakfast was delicious. Drinks and food very expensive.

Silver Point is a sleek, modern place, but I had a bad experience this month on a business trip. After reserving a room, paying in full, and calling the day before to notify that I had a late arrival, I was informed that they had overbooked, and was sent packing to a crappy, 1950's resort nearby.

The hotel is off the "beaten path"- the neighborhood is a little scary. I would not recommend going off the hotel property at night- during the day- walking is around is fine. The hotel is nicer looking then the website shows. The pool is small but it does the trick- perfect to sit and sip cocktails in. The day beds for sun tanning are so relaxing I took many naps on them. The hotel restaurant food is amazing! My room was small but nice- has a chic feel to it. Most all the hotel staff was very friendly. The only complaint I have is the hotel NEVER had change ($) so make sure you have small enough bills to tip with if you pay with cash. Overall the hotel was very nice. Next time I would opt to stay closer to the Gap or Bridgetown- just because I prefer more night life.

Good Kite Surfing and Wind Surfing.

We loved the beds by the ocean. They are set up so that you can watch the sand and surf during the days and then lay back and watch the stars by night

Great hotel, only complaint would be that it's a few miles from restaurants and attractions, so renting a car is a must unless you want to take a taxi or ride the public bus. Renting a car is not a bad idea because there is so much to see like Harrison's cave, or the Ocean Park, or drive to Bridgetown. It's a great location to hang out on the beach as the beach is nice and there is easy rentals of wind sports like Kite Surfing. The restaurant at the hotel is OK, but there are some great restaurants within driving distance. The room was nice and the hotel staff was all friendly.

Fantastic. This isn't the Waldorf so don't expect highly trained experienced staff however, what we did get were warm friendly locals making an honest living. Some of them even joined us, at our invitation, and gave us a wonderful local perspective and education on Barbados.

Barbados was a blast!!! it is the best place in the entire world to do absolutely nothing but lay on the beach. The beaches are breathing my boyfriend and I throughly enjoyed ourselves. I wish we could have stay longer than just 5 days....

The hotel is far from everything, however it's quiet and right on the beach. If you don't care much about nightlife and just want to relax and rest, this is a good spot. The beach is not suitable for swimming though, and the pool is very small. The bad: We booked a partial ocean view room, but upon checking-in, the staff lied to us and downgraded us to a garden view room. After we complained, we were told that there was a wedding going on and there was no other room available (although we've booked the hotel 3 months in advance). After repeatedly complaining to the staff, they finanlly moved us after two days. Also the food in the hotel is expensive and the surrounding restaurants aren't that great either (we tried all three much-touted restaurants nearby: Gigi, Surfer's bay, Sticky Wicket) and weren't impressed. (Surfer's Bay probably is relatively better than the other two; Sticky Wicket, although very clean, serves food which is at best average). If you are a foodie, you'd want to venture out. But remember renting a car is very expensive there (around $80 for an economic car).

Words can't even express how perfect and memorable our stay at this hotel was. My new husband and I spent our honeymoon there for 3 nights and 4 days, and it pained us to leave. The location was everything that we were looking for, as we are very relaxed individuals that don't like the hustle and bustle of crowds when we are away. This hotel was in a less touristy part of Christ Church, which meants that we had an amazingly calm and quiet experience. The room service was delicious, and about comparable to room service rates in the states. We wished that the dinner portions could have been a little bigger though. We stayed in an oceanfront studio, and loved the view and the amenities. The patio/balcony had an adorable table for two that my husband and I spent eating many of our meals either in the morning or at night by lantern-light. The bed was super comfortable, and the modern shower cleansed us after our afternoon dips at the beach or in the pool. The only thing that we were not such a fan of were the little ants that crawled around the bathroom and kitchenette sinks, but we're in Barbados so what can you expect? Overall we just enjoyed every minute of our stay, and definitely plan to return!

great location, friendly staff, spotless rooms. Hotel was excellent. Location is remote, and surrounding area not the best. Hotel has great security, and taxis are available 24/7 for very reasonable rates, so there are no problems.

** Hotel is at southern part of island and is near a very private beach. Great area for surfing, windsailing, and kite surfing! ** Hotel is about 15-20 mins from more populated areas to go out for dinner and restaurants-but only a $30($15us) cab ride. ** I wish the hotel would have told us that a free shuttle to Bridgetown runs m, w, f--I would just make sure you ask the staff all the options for seeing other parts of the island while you are there. ** Staff was very friendly and I would definitely stay there again!
