Bathrooms were dirty and walls had been stripped of wall paper and were bare drywall. Rooms were drab and smelled of cigerette smoke.

Have stayed before and recommend to others. Need more furniture in pool area. I recommend this hotel for others, I have stayed there before and will again.

We didn't have any major problems with the hotel. The bed was a little firm for my taste, but not horrible. There was nothing that especially jumped out about it but it was clean, quiet and I would stay there again. I believe the hotel was completely full while we were there and we did not hear any noise through the walls. We also had a small refridgerator in our room which was nice. There is no elevator, so be sure to ask for a first floor room if you cannot handle the stairs.

I just needed a nice place to stay for one night, and Signature Inn was the perfect spot. It was a convenient location and the great hotle amenities (BREAKFAST) made it an easy choice. The price was a great attraction and having stayed at this hotel before and knew it was the one that I wanted.

Spacious room. The side entrance door was propped open with rock. The 1st room we were given had not been cleaned and we walked into it used the restroom and then realized it was dirty. That was disgusting. Called the front desk and was told to come down and get another key for a different room, the desk clerk said the computer showed it had been cleaned. The 2nd room was better but still not a good feeling.

The room I got wasn't what I had asked for, but it did have a lot of extras. They apparently don't distinguish between smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms, so I didn't like the lingering smell of smoke. But it wasn't a bad place to stay. Cable was decent with lots of channels. Continental breakfast included waffles, muffins, cereal, juices, coffee, bagels, biscuits & gravy, etc. Not a bad selection. Staff was courteous and quick. Would stay again if I am in the area.

We were in Muncie on two of the hottest days of the year (97 and 96 degrees). It was nice to come back to a clean room and a cool pool to refresh ourselves. Breakfast was a nice touch, way more than your average continental breakfast. Conveniently located at the center of everything.

Close to Ball State University. The breakfast has went downhill, No more fresh fruit, hardboiled eggs, peanut butter, or bagels. Still one of the better places to stay in Muncie. They should improve there breakfast. The hot tub in the pool area does not work.

I stayed in Muncie last month and found this hotel online. I must say the service was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful and the indoor pool must have recently been redone because it was very nice. My only complaint would be that it was a little dated, however it was still very clean. I will be staying here in the future.

Room was clean. Smoking allowed. WiFi would have been nice. This hotel was pretty clean and check-in was quick, sort of. The hotel didn't have record of my reservations. The clerk was very nice about it and took the itinerary I had printed out and gave me my room without receiving conformation yet. They figured it out without me having to stand in the lobby and that was thoughtful. Definitely worth the price.

I read the reviews of Muncie area hotels and decided that this one was the most bang for my buck. Was I wrong! The customer service was horrific, the breakfast was minimal and distasteful and the swimming pool was closed because someone was showing up to inspect the hotel and they didn't want to get in trouble. Save your money and go someplace else!

Bathroom in horrible condition room. Staff ignored noise complaints. Under staffing for the number of overnight guests on Saturday morning. Keys did not work. Bathroom had gaps in walls, poor paint job, creepy feel.

The hotel staff works with you. They allowed us to check in early so we could rest without any fees. They also have great popcorn in lobby late afternoon. Good continental brekfast. Ice maker did not work on 2nd floor, rooms are spacey and everything worked great!!"

The staff was friendly. They were working on the hot tub during our stay so it was not usable. Disappointing. We needed a clean place to stay for one night and this hotel filled that requirement. Clean, friendly with no bells or whistles.

"Not good for handicap people. There are no automatic doors at front entrance and no elevator. However, staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Pool refreshing and the breakfast was wonderful. Worth the stay. "

Very friendly staff; continental breakfast. Very dated; not the most clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly. It was dated and not the cleanest hotel I've stayed at, but for $44 a night, it was great. Pool wasn't working when we went, but we weren't going to swim anyway. Continental breakfast was decent.
