Situated next to the Forked Deer River, Jackson is the home to the annual Casey Jones Train Festival, Rockabilly Festival, Shannon Street Blues Festival, the Miss TN Beauty Pageant, and the West TN State Fair. Area attractions include the Casey Jones Train Station, Rockabilly Hall of Fame Museum, Old Medina Winery, and the Downtown Train Depot. Just outside of Jackson we have the Safari Zoo, Birdsong Pearl Farm and Museum, Pinson Mounds, and the Bird Dog Museum. This southwestern Tennessee town is named after Andrew Jackson, who trekked down the western side of what is now Natchez State Resort Park with his troops in 1814.

Super Breakfast ! ! ! Very nice hotel. Staff was very nice and met or exceeded all needs.

Tough to get to, smaller rooms than what was expected from previous experiences with CIS's. Staff was just wonderfully hospitable, accommodating, and helpful in all respects. It really had a nice feel about it from a personnel standpoint. Breakfast was really fine, but not really ready for advertised opening time. Room was neat, but smaller. Furniture seemed of lesser quality than that experienced at other CIS sites. Not a bad experience, but not a great experience either, with the exception of staff. They were great.Did not provide anything less than what was expected for the price, but certainly not much more, either.

I have stayed at a lot of CI&S and this is the only bad one that I have seen. Room was tiny, bathroom disgusting, breakfast unappetizing

The shower curtain was sour and they couldn't change it. The shower spray was so hard you couldn't even stand under the water. BUT the pool was great!
