Siena is a nice hotel with very friendly staff. The room is big and beautiful. However the basics, like towels and sheets need to be updated. The towels were clean but extremely old. Bed sheets are also very old and not sure were high cotton. The sheets smelled like you sleeping at your Great grand mother's house with her old old sheets. Breakfast is included and the staff were wonderful. I don't think it is worth the price. It really needs to be updated.

The ambiance was delightful. The dining room only offered their prefix meal. Because we wanted to order A La Carte we were told we would have to sit in the bar.

I just came back from a trip to Chapel Hill. The Siena is a great hotel. The room was clean and very large. The staff was amazing. I have stayed at 5 star resorts in Maui and this hotels staff was probably the best I have ever had. I was at an interview while my boyfriend was still at the hotel. He had to run out to the store for a minute so they had one of their drivers take him. They had great restaurant ideas for us. It was a great stay and I will be back there in the future!

This hotel is beautifully kept. The staff is personable and knowledgeable about the area. Free car service in Mercedes Benz, and staff was always on time for pick up and drop offs (this is a big problem usually with free hotel shuttle service, but not here). Business center is staffed with great people who will handle all your shipping needs and copying. There is also no charge for printing! The rooms are very large and comfortable beds. They only have foam pillows on the bed so if you want feather just ask and they will provide them.

Great room, attentive staff. Very good buffet breakfast with excellent wait service. Lounge seems like an afterthought, however.

Reminded me of a classy New York hotel but down South. Recommend this to anyone looking for a leisurely or romantic weekend. Polite and accomodating staff!

We stayed at the Siena for my birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make our weekend away so special. Everything was perfect from the driver who took us around town, to check in, to the recommendations by the staff. It was wonderful to be treated so well. We would stay here again and thanks for the extra special birthday treats!

The hotel was renovated since the last time we were there a couple of years ago. The Service is better than ever. Dinner was outstanding, make sure you make reservations

Above average hotel convenient to UNC with above average price. Italian decor, large rooms, nice baths, beautiful armoires, basic television.

Looked a bit dated - heavy furnishings, could use an update.

I felt like I was treated as someone special from the moment we pulled in. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Everyone was very helpful with all our requests and made some well informed suggestions. Room was spacious, clean, smelled great and well appointed. The smaller size of the hotel lends itself to a personal feeling. The free breakfast buffet is varied and well done with friendly service. Very close to UNC campus (1.4 miles) with reasonable rates thanks to the online travel service and walking distance of a shopping center. Would highly recommend you to stay here if visiting Chapel Hill.

The Siena Hotel is the best hotel by far in Chapel Hill and the Triangle area. If you are visiting this area you must stay here. The Staff are very friendly and proffessional.

The Siena Hotel is amazing. It is a bit pricy, but was worth every penny. The staff were all extremely helpful, knowledgable, and respectful without being the least bit stuffy or intrusive. They were friendly and really made us feel comfortable, and were excellent at making recommendations and arranging special requests. For example, I got in at 5:00pm, and really wanted an in room massage. They called around and were able to get me one at 7:30pm that same night. The restaurant is one of the most amazing Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at. The bartender was great, as were the servers. The room was great, as was the cleanliness of the overall hotel. The only negative points were some of the general amenities. There is no pool or gym on site. You get free usage of an excellent gym and pool, but it is a bit of a drive to get to the place they are located, so we didn't bother. Also, the business center consisted of a tiny alcove behind the check-in area. The staff has to walk you back through their offices. There is only one computer, so if someone is there you have to try again later. Regardless, the hotel was excellent overall and was a contributing factor to one of the best trips I've had in a long time!

Every day they had a muscian playing in the lobby (piano to harp). The room style was a bit old and needed touch ups. A comfortable hotel for either short or long periods of time. Tasteful decor but in need of minor repairs and in places make overs.

I loved how spacious the room was. It was a great change of pace from the traditional. Great change of pace from the traditional chain hotels. The rooms were old word quaint and spacious. The hot breakfast in the morning was an unexpected pleasant touch.

The staff was accommodating and wonderful. Room was nice and the breakfasts were good, too. An exceptional value. Some of the rooms were a little dark.

The decor was pretty and different. Linens need to be updated obvious wear air conditioner made knocking noise.
