We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Siam City Hotel. The room was very nice if a little small for 4 of us but good value for money. We stayed over the Christmas period and there were nice touches like putting out stockings on our door with little gifts for the kids. Very convenient for the Sky Train station. The food was very good - especially the buffet breakfasts. Eating at the hotels at other times would prove to be fairly costly but with easy transport access to Siam Square there was a lot of choice at our disposal. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The staff was courteous. Hotel is not located as it is billed. I have stayed in other hotels less rated and found better facility. I would absolutely not stay here again and had I not prepaid I would have checked out. Furthermore this hotel is not located in the Siam Square area as billed.

Very nice hotel downtown Bangkok. Easy to reach via Skytram but can be difficult for taxi driver to find.

The staff were very friendly and attentive and extended our late check out which was a greatly appreciated. The choice at breakfast was reasonable if a bit limited. pool needed to be heated as it was too cold to swim in.this was a disappointment as the reason we had chosen the hotel was for the pool area. The location is quite good as the sktrain is across the road however the station is not suitable for strollers or wheelchair users as there is no lift or escalator only stairs.

Have been to Thailand twice before, and stayed in different hotels, this time i chose Siam.I stayed at this hotel for 6 days, though the check inn time is 2pm,but i was provided with an early check inn.The hotel is very nice clean n gives u a feeling of safety.Very close to the BTS and other attractions. The staff needs a special mention, very attentive to your needs and very courteous. You'll not be disappointed.

Booking Siam City through Laterooms certainly made this an excellent value for money stay. Siam City seems principally a business hotel but certainly also very suitable for, and used by, families, couples and single travellers. Staff is friendly, rooms are spacious & nicely decorated and the hotel offers all facilities you may need in terms of a nice (albeit small) outdoor pool, a spa, gym, business centre and a range of restaurants offering different cuisines. The hotel has one disadvantege though, in my view. It is not really close to any of Bankgok's main sites and therefore you will spend a fair amount of time in taxis battling Bangkok's congested roads. Having said that, seeing all of Bangkok's sites is probably impossible without being stuck in traffic at some point. Other than that, as said, great value for money compared to some of the other big 4 and 5 star hotels.

Great Lobby, spectacular staff! Nothing around the location at all. Truely a four star hotel and only a short walk to the Sky Train station, which is a very good thing as there is NOTHING near the hotel. This is really not much of a problem: Siam is just a few stops down and the hotel's facilities are wonderful for just sticking around at.

Great hotel, nice rooms. Pool being renovated so provided free shuttle to similar pool in another hotel. Fantastic buffet breakfast and dinners. 15min walk to shopping centres and markets.

My first two stays as a package coming from the usa were okay; the rates were much much lower in 2000 and 2002. However, last fall as a special get away I called to place the reservation and asked the price; doing all negotiations in thai to not get the "farang" rip off rate...and was quoted a rate at half of what it came out to be. At check out time they claimed that I didn't understand even though I showed them the paper where I wrote the rate down both from the orginal phone call and when I check in to which the clerk said, "yes, this is the rate" The resturant is overpriced; the atmosphere is peaceful but stressed since this is now an overinflated place. I do not recommend it. The internet is also a rip off; 200 baht /hour when the cafe down the street runs 10-20 baht /hour. Okay?

This was our first trip to Thailand and I cannot explain how enjoyable our stay at The Siam City Hotel Bangkok was. The hotel is conveniently located and all attractions are easily accessable and it is located only 2 minutes walk from a Sky Rail station. Apart from being an exceptionally well appointed hotel the staff make the real impact. Every member of staff went out of their way to attend to our every need and always did so with a smile. I consider this hotel to be the best value hotel I have ever stayed in.
