Location, decor, friendly service. Room was quite small, no slippers, main restaurant closed. It was everything we expected. Fabulous location on the beach. We paid up for a sea view room but there were lots of rooms with no view and I would be disappointed if we had one of those. Main restaurant was closed for refurbish. Very disappointing. Main lobby quite small but cozy. Great pool and spa. Gym very small in the basement. Spa treatments were of a very high standard. Breakfast in the petals bistro v good.

Shutters was a destination for us after a 4 day business conference... WOW...it is amazing.the minute you step out of the car, the door staff greets you and escorts you in..they remembered our names until the moment we checked out!Bellman was attentive and helpful and the room..SPECTACULAR!clearly he most comfortable room I have stayed in anywhere here or in Europe.the little touches, linens, accessories, desk, carpet, art work..ALL available for sale but they make your stay a if you are in a living room!The lobby is to die for and soooo comfortable..with many fireplaces going and picture frames a plenty as if you are in a home.Right on the ocean....great food, fantastic wait staff and the gym is over the top LA Style.You will Love this place. well worth the price of admission. JP
