The bed. The clientele. The employees and clientele were so diverse as to be scary. Neither ice maker on wing worked. Channel up/down on remote didn't work.

This was our second stay do to a layover a year ago. That one day prompted me and my wife to return for vacation. Joanne checked us in with courteous service. The room was clean and very comfortable. The pool and the fitness center was accessible, when we wanted to use them. The neighborhood was quiet and well kept. There was shopping near and great restaurants in the area. We will definitely be returning here in the near future.

The hotel was in close proximity to the event we were attending. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. The hotel was in very good condition and was clean. The restaurant was very expensive. There were no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms.

We loved this place. It was clean, affordable and the location was great. The staff was kind and considerate; the service in the restaurant was friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

I enjoyed my stay- it's a very unique property. Great bar/ restaurant, friendly staff. Decor is a little dated but it's clean and the staff was very friendly. If you're tired of typical chain hotels- this is a great choice.

Shula's is neat, clean and close to shops and restaurants. The shower had no hot water, the restaurant was very expensive. We stayed at Shula's only one night, before our cruise. Overall, we enjoyed the experience. The hotel was very busy and apparently full of girls soccer teams. Everyone was well behaved and courteous to other guests, and the hotel staff was numerous and instantly ready to assist the guests when needed. It is a beautiful hotel, very neat, very clean both inside and on the meticulously manicured grounds. We were delighted with everything, with the only serious complaint being that our bathroom had no hot water.

Rooms were comfortable. Advertising did not state we were not in the main resort. Dissappointed to hear that we were in Shulas 2. We were given a room with no views although the hotel was almost empty. The Pool was not heated and the hot tub was small and filthy. The business center did not provide email access.

I stay at the Don Shula Golf Club Hotel on every business trip to Miami which is monthly. I find the staff to be very friendly and accomodating. The location is great as it is close to the highway and there is nice shopping and restaurants close by. The rooms are big and having a refrigerator and microwave in the room is so convenient. I love the dense vegetation around the pool and the rooms with the balconies overlook this. It's quiet and peaceful and I always look forward to my stay. This is my home away from home!

We had a very nice experience at the Hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they gave us a room immediately. The rooms are nicely furnished and quaint. The hotel is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and movies since it is situated in the middle of a little town square. Loved it and woud definitely return.

The staff gave us wrong directions to the hotel. It put us two hours out of our way. . They gave us a room on the third floor in a building with the elevator out of service. We had to change rooms right away since the room had a broken bathroom door. they threatened with a room change upgrade charge but ended up giving us a room right next to the other one. The Manager wouldn't even come out of his office. Guest service was horrible from the slow wait staff to the security guard smoking outside in front of guests.

My family stayed there for '09 Orange Bowl - lots of fans from both teams because it's an easy 15 minute ride to Doplhin Stadium. The pool isn't heated and that's a bummer. Plenty of restaurants (Tony Rama's, JohnnyRockets, an Italian Cafe, Ruby Tuesday, Out of the Border, Chicken Kitchen, and El Novillo (?) that is Nicaraguan - very good and different. Nearby, there's a Publix and CVS. The restaurant at the hotel is good (Shula's 2), but a tad pricey. It's about a 20 minute car ride to South Beach. The hotel is located in a small shopping complex that is located in Miami Lakes, which seems to be a decent community.

It was ok, for business travel but not for romantic getaway. I like the fitness club.
