This was the second and last time we are staying here. We stayed last year on our honeymoon and had a decent experience, but this year it was terrible. We got the little cottage, which was really small and smelly. The bed was very uncomfortable and seemed it was broken, the bathroom was tiny you had to cram into a little space where your knees were against the wall, the heater didn't work, the shower was so tiny you could barely move around, the floors were very filthy because if you took your shoes off your feet got black. I would never come back again and don't recommend anyone stay here. The staff weren't friendly this time. Plus you can't use the bathroom because the toilet clogs and you have to end up plunging all the time. Dont stay there. It's not worth the price.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room needed TLC, updating, and the cat smell was horrible. Loved being able to walk to the beach. Take parking your car into your own hands.

The room and location were nice. The grounds were under construction and The pool and hot tub was closed, which it did not state in deception. very disappointing!

I was there for a wedding and the price I paid was less than half of what it would have cost to stay where most of the wedding party stayed, and it was only 10 minutes away.

It was very quiet and the location was good. It had a musty smell and the bathroom was not cleaned well. Good place for a quick trip if you are just going to use the room to sleep, but not a place to spend a week.

The room was nice and had everything we needed. It was a nice walk to the beach.

up on arrivial the personal was friendly and helpful. She told us about the swimming npool and where to eat dinner. Being in New England was a dream come true. My husband and I have now visited all 50 States and this was one of the nices visits we have had. The motel is a New England classic not very big but nice to sleep in.

Very close to the ocean! If you're over 5 feet tall, I wouldn't recommend these accommodations. Nice view, comfortable bed, but that's about as far as it goes.

We were not expecting such a quaint village of cottages near the beach! We were pleasantly surprised and wished we were there while the pool was still open. In the morning, we had fresh baked muffins and hot coffee at the guest lounge, used the computer there (free for guests!) and then walked around the corner to the beautiful beach! Great family destination for the summer.

It was a nice little cozy cottage. It made you feel like you were in a small apartment, which was good. I didn't like the location and plus there were too many bugs in it. I would recommend this little cottage for anyone who likes to get away from everything and doesn't mind not having street lights around. Plus I wasn't impressed with the bugs that were in it. Overall, it was in a nice location because there are a couple beaches within miles around it. I am not sure I would stay at it again, but I wouldn’t' say it was a bad experience.

The shorelands is a quiet place that is suitable for families and couples.the rooms are decent and the services are not too bad.IF you buy your grocery (don't forget the lobsters) you can enjoy the exterior BBQ next to the pool. You simply have to enjoy little things in this hotel , nothing fancy but very useful in you plan to stay and visit the area.

The newly remodeled room & openess of area and the kitchenette area. The bathroom was way too small and shower had very little room to move around and water temperature kept on changing from hot to cold. It was set in a nice location. The cabins were nicely decorated and it was definitely family oriented. Would come back again.

The rate, location, and having two rooms were a big plus for our family! Close to the beach too!! The bathroom was small and the third single bed was not very sturdy. I would recommend this location for families! It is not at all plush but adequate for families on a budget. The close proximity to the public beach and ocean were wonderful! Being a family of four also made the two room option perfect for us.

The cottage was clean and very cute. Not very friendly owners. I had a 12 year old and a 6 year old child with me, we went to the office to get info on stuff around town when we open the door to the office the owners were fighting and yelling at each other pretty loud. The cottages were nice, clean and had everything you need.

Close to the town. Close to the beach. It looked out of season. You can easily hear the noises outside as the walls are thin. The TV was too small.

The location was close to a very nice beach. Broken furniture, shower andAC did not work properly. Nice location, Kennebunk beach is a short walk down a tree line road. Along the way there is a horse stable where the horses come over to the fence and can be petted. The room itself was shabby, old broken furniture including the dresser draws and head board. The air conditioner was loud and shook the room when it was running. The shower was extremely small and the water often went from hot to cold when showering.
