The Shilo Inn was a good experience. Earlier in the week we stayed at the Jorgensen Inn and it wasn't nearly as nice. The Shilo is obviously older, but the room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay. THe continental breakfast was very meager, but better than nothing.

When I looked into this hotel, I couldn't believe it. The accomadations in comparison to the price just didn't seem possible! The location is convenient and easily found. The service was great and friendly. The room was great and more importantly clean! The pool was clean. The water was hot. The motel was quiet. The continental breakfast was coffee, juice, and muffins. Our family enjoyed our stay and will use this facility again and again. You won't find a better value!

The room was fairly clean, but the odor of perfume was overwhelming. The hotel is old and dark. We had a small dog with us, and were charged * extra, non-refundable, that had not been disclosed until check in. There is no area for pets. The bank next door had to suffice.The sheets did not fit the bed. Just not a good experience. I had to wash clothes the next day as they reeked of the perfume odor.

It was great. We were on a trip with Grandkids who like pools. We just needed a good place to stay and it fit the bill. For the price on online travel website, we could not have done any better. Few used the pool so we had no problem when we wanted to get in. We do a lot of sight seeing so the price was most important since we didn't spend anytime just setting in the room. Continental breakfast was more than adequate.

Very old facility, dark furnishings and old linens on busy intersection/freeway. Staff was very helpful and friendly but did not make up for the fact that this is rated as a 2 star hotel should be a 1.5 max.

My stay at the Shilo Inn and Suites in Helena, MT was just what I was expecting and needed. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. They are adhering to the save energy approach of asking guests about changing the linens and towels, of which I very much approve. The front desk was very helpful in check-in and I discovered that, although they do not have a shuttle, they will pay the cost of a taxi to and from the airport. I didn;t have a chance to use the pool, but it looked clean and well-maintained. The continental breakfast is a little light ad on the sweet side, but handy. The location of the Shilo is its greatest asset--near the freeway, close to the mall, and several places to eat, not far from the Capitol. All-in-all, I got precisely what I wanted, and was charged a very resonable rate.

We had been to this hotel 25 years ago, liked it then, and like it now. The bedroom was large and comfortable, the pool was small, but a perfect temperature and perfect for children, the hot tub had too much chlorine, so we did not use it, but we did report it to the front desk and they promised to look into it. There is a sauna, which looked nice, and a steam room, which was wonderful. There are also bathrooms in this pool area. The breakfast was continental and adequate; juice, coffee, bagels, English muffins, donnuts, yogurt, and cereal. It was clean, and well maintained. The only problem was when a refrigerated truck parked outside our room window, on the street, and disturbed us with its running motor all night. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was a nice value. It had everything from free wifi to complimentary bottled water. The room was clean. It was within walking distance to a grocery store, coffee shop, and various independent and chain restaurants. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no elevator, and I had a ton of luggage with me... but the desk clerk was more than willing to help me with my bags. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This motel needs to be updated. Beds were very uncomfortable - too springy. Room was average or less. There was no where to sit down to eat the breakfast which was dismal - fruit loops or rice krispies with no milk, 1 flavor of yogurt and dried out donuts at 7:45 AM,
