The Shilo Inn is located in Clark County close to the fairgrounds. Within five miles of the hotel are Clark County Fairgrounds, Pinecrest Golf Course, and Clark College. Fort Vancouver Historical Site and Pearson Air Museum are seven miles away, while Portland Meadows Racetrack and Delta Park are 11 miles away. Guests can enjoy a swim in the seasonal outdoor pool with adjacent hot tub. The 24-hour fitness center is stocked with modern workout equipment--stationary bike, universal weight machine, and rowing machine--and there is also a steam room and sauna. Every morning, guests of the Shilo Inn are welcome to selections from the complimentary breakfast bar (bagels, cereals, pastries, fruit, etc). Additionally, fresh fruit, popcorn, and coffee are available in the lobby during the day. Billigan's Restaurant and Lounge is adjacent to the hotel. Within one block of the hotel are Burger King, Taco Bell, McDonalds, and Burgerville. Several local restaurants provide delivery service, and the hotel offers free local calls. There is guest laundryroom on-site, and the also hotel offers valet laundry service. Each mini-suite features cable television with free Showtime, as well as a microwave, coffeemaker, hairdryer, and refrigerator. *This property is pet friendly for dogs only, please. 'This was our first visit to the Northwest Coast, and we can't say enough about how wonderful our stay here was. We had a clean room right off the lobby and next to our friends who we were travelling with, so it was perfect. But, we most want to comment on the incredible warmth and service from the staff we received here. They were so helpful. We enjoyed, too, the freshly made cookies, popcorn, fruit, tea, coffee & cocoa available all day. And, their breakfast including homemade waffles was excellent! We sure wish Shilo Inns were available to us on the East Coast, because for the value, they were the best of anywhere we have stayed!

We arrived in town earlier than expected 11am which was before chech in time 2pm. They still let us check in and go to our rooms and freshen up before we went out and about. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were nice. The pool was a bit chilly but okay once you were in and swimming and the spa did not turn and make bubbles but it was still very relaxing. The front desk was very welcoming and freindly and the continential breakfast was just right.

I stayed three nights with my two young children and was somewhat disapointed in the location ( surrounded by strip malls right up to the small parking lot). The room was average but, they all seem to have the same general layout. The pool was good with sauna rooms available. No float toys for the kids (they were disapointed) We had to go to a local Fred Meyer and buy some. Overall, adequate and pleasant.
