Room at the Shilo Inn are spacious, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed to have a seating area with a couch and an extra table in the room as well as a big counter top for the coffeemachine etc.Perfect for any traveler to put some things down. The Continenetal Breakfast was outstanding. Great variety.

This hotel was clean and quiet, even if it was a little outdated. Our TV was rather old and small, and the key was actually a metal key, not a card. The check-in process took a long time because the clerk could not pull up the reservation I had made online just hours before from my mobile device. Then he had to check the hotel map against the list of guests to determine which rooms were available. He finally settled on a room in the bus wing, and we were awakened by several knocks on the door early in the morning, presumably from the bus driver. The breakfast was better than expected, as it included biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and waffles. I might stay here again, but I was not overly impressed, so I would definitely be open to staying elsewhere.

Taking into consideration all that can go wrong at a place to stay, this was a decent place to stay. You may want to try to find another place to stay if hair in the drain or floor (that the cleaning lady missed) bother you. The room was clean other than that. The room was also well decorated , up to date, and quiet with a real (and comfortable) king size bed. The hotel itself needs new carpeting in the halls but overall was in good condition. The continental breakfast was very good. The hotel staff was friendly, a little odd, but seemed concerned when I mentioned the hair in the tub and floor. Its a little overpriced but it probably is because its one of the few places to stay in the area, and it was a holiday. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

We have recurringly stayed at this motel for decades and it is consistently of an acceptable quality. The fact that the rooms are very large is an important plus for our family.

The Shilo Inn was a good place if your looking for a place to lay your head down. The restroom needed a little more time spent on cleaning and the stocking of linens. The rooms are adequately spaced if eating in. the hotel has a good view of the surrounding mountains.

Very average and basic. The continental breakfast area was not very clean. The coffee was horrible. Since the dining area was packed, we decided to sit outside on the patio. Unfortunately, all of the tables and chairs needed to be wiped off. The female employee who seemed to be responsible for the breakfast just sat in the middle of the kitchen and watched everyone. She saw several of us go out to the patio and return but never offered to clean off the tables so we could sit outside.

Hotel was run down. Rooms were not cleaned well at all. Our tub had lots of dirty hair in it. Pool was broken. Pop machine out of order. Over all this is not a place I would stay ever again. I was really disappointed as the Shilo ususally has great rooms.

The motel's great location for Grand Canyon was perfect. The rooms were clean, beds and bedding were comfy. Nice size room with fridge. Really loved meals at Nedra's just down the road.

Given the small size of the area, I didn't expect much from the hotel. But it was much better than expected! The beds could be more comfy and the pillows a bit fluffier, but it was worth it.

The motel is over rated. The carpet in the room smell and the small room cost *$* for a small room. We stayed for 2 nites and there was no room cleaning on the second day due to short of staff
