Came for a doctor appointment at St Lukes. Once we found the motel it was easy to get to other places. Easy drive to St. Lukes. Shopping was within walking distance. The greenbelt by the river was a bonus. Very relaxing.

Nothing fancy by any strectch. "Continental breakfast" consisted of some cookies, a basket of small oranges, and bad coffee in styrofoam cups. But it seemed clean enough, was cheap, and served well enough as a place to stop for the night on the way to someplace else.

This was a quick trip and the location and service was excellent.

I started feeling remarkably unwell checkout day, and the helpful staff gave me a late checkout, and the shuttle to airport was effortless. with out which I would have been most uncomfortable. It was just that stuff that was going around, but it made all the difference to be able to wait a couple hours for my flight, in comfort. However, I did not know about the pool and sauna until I was checking out. Maybe printed material more noticeable in the room. Next time. impression modest at first site but the experience was quite satisfactory. Thanks.

We've stayed at this hotel twice now, and it will always be our favorite. Easy to find; very reasonable; quiet location; the facilties were clean and felt refreshing inside; the staff were very friendly, and helpful, making us feel "at home."

The moment we walked in felt welcomed! The Hotel Representative apologized for the remodeling and moved us to another area of the hotel while the remodeling and painting was going on (I have allergies and asmtha). Outside our patio door was the beautiful plush trees and river: people walking, biking and jogging, misc. along the cemented pathway. Housekeeping was very helping and our suite had a fridge and microwave. This was perfect especially since I am a diabetic. Amenities in the "Welcome Area" were great (24/7)!! Fresh Red or Green Apples, Bagged ole time Popcorn for watching movies or tv, cookies, and An Coffee, Mocha, misc., Machine. The use of the computer was wonderful, especially for locating places to see while in Idaho. Truly nice to have a guest Laundry Room and open 8:00 by 10:00pm. Our Suite was spacious, the usage of the iron and ironing board came in handy daily. THE HOTEL REPRESENTATIVES AT THE FRONT DESK EXTREMELY HELPFUL (24 / 7)!!! Made checking out fast and efficient. The service we received from the front desk and room service was excellent. They were very friendly and helpful. It is an older hotel and it does show its age, but for the price the location was great. The river runs on the back of the hotel and its great for walking and biking. The pool and the jaquzzi leave a lot to be desired. They do need more attention. The breakfast was great. We would certainly stay there again.

This is my favorite. The Continental Breakfast at this Shiloh Inn was outstanding. The carpeting in our room was brand new. The staff was very courteous and professional. I will definitely stay there again.

I stayed with my mom for a week away. The shuttle to/from airport was free but also smelled old and like cigarretts. The lobby also smelled - a combination of popcorn, urine, and must. The room was just like in the pictures but again, it didn't feel clean b/c of the smell. The maids came everyday we wanted them to and did a nice job cleaning. There is nothing around this hotel to walk to, so you will have to rent a car or take a $5 cab ride downtown. I suggest renting the car before you arrive in Boise b/c it saves money. There were many choices for the free breakfast - waffles, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, omelets, cereal... All of the staff were polite and helpful but some were unkempt.

Wonderful hotel. Other than refurbishing was being done on the rooms (painting and new bathroom floors) the motel was quiet and well maintained. Excellant front desk staff and a great breakfast room. Cookies, fruit, popcorn and a coffee-latte machine in the lobby 24-7. Rooms were spacious and the new bedding made for very comfortable nights sleep. Clean indoor pool and hot tub. You will need transportation to restaurants, only one in walking distance. Stayed here for 7 days and will definately stay here on my next trip to Boise. Quiet safe motel.

The Shilo Inn Riverside was very convenient. We could walk downtown and /or take the bus. There was easy access to trails and a pleasant casual restaurant nearby where you could dine outside or in. It had light music and was right by the greenbelt, river area. The Inn itself provided a very adequate breakfast and internet access. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to be able to use the complimentary airport shuttle and not have to rent a car.

We planned a trip to Boise for Spring Break. While the motel is outdated the staff was helpful and they had nice ammenities. Free internet, breakfast, cookies, popcorn, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit in the lobby day or night. Pretty quiet during the week, I don't know if we would stay on the weekend. But overall a good stay.

"Could not see river from ""river view"" room. The room was dark and dingy. The concrete block wall was very cheap. The room had a funny smell. The beds were not very comfortable. Left after first night. For the price, you can find better in Boise."

" I reserved the hotel online so i had no idea what to expect.Couldnt have been happier. Breakfast was great w/ a wide selection. The staff was full of info and very helpful.THe rooms were very clean.Exercise room, pool, sauna, wifi A BARGAIN !!!would stay again no problem "

"The river location is great w/over 20 miles of river walking/biking paths. Driving to Eagle, Nampa, Boise are all easy, yet right downtown. The price can't be beat, but the room upkeep was not up to speed. Found used water glass upon check in and found a teddy graham on the floor that sat in the same place throughout our stay. Hmm. Still very good value and we'll stay there again."
