Reasonably clean and mostly quite. Good for the price. My room was near the laundry room and early in the evening as the laundry was being done I got vibrations from the washing machines. It cleared up by 9:00 PM and had no further problems.

My firend and I came to Springfield / Eugene for the Newsboys concert - we were treated like royalty at the Shilo Inn. - I will definately stay here again!

Stayed here instead of holiday inn express, big mistake. Lots of room noise, parking inadequate, no free breakfast, hotel needs remodeled and finally the price is way to high for the quality or lack there of. I spent 150 dollars and the holiday inn costs me 125. Shilo Inn is definately not a resort.

They need brighter hallways, really dark and dreary. No elevator, so my disabled wife had a real problem going up the stairs. We'd specifically asked for downstairs and you blew that one!

The worst experience I've had in a long time. Bolt lock did not work, shower marginable. Hank of red hair inside the bed and the sink was plugged. Needless ot say it was noisy on top of it all. Wouldn't go back there again for anything.

This hotel had pre 1980 appliances they call this a 'executive' suite!!! The hallways were dimly lit. The hotel room was very small. The walk to the front desk took forever!!! It had a business center which was a plus so we could print directions. I would not stay here again.

average hotel; relatively convenient and relatively quiet

After staying at Shilo Inn in Ocean Shores, Washington, thought this would be okay to stop at on way home. What a disappointment! Hallways to rooms were dark and gloomy and couldn't hardly see keyhole for lock to open. Everything about this hotel needs to be remodeled and updated. The staff was nice and we had speedy checkin/out. Breakfast bar was good although need more space for eating in.

Rooms need updated even though they say it was remodeled. Cold showers with intermittent hot water. Stained furniture. Hard beds.

We arrived at the hotel in the evening hoping to just get our room and relax. The girl at the front desk was very polite asking if I had requested a disabled accessible room. I had not but she gave me one anyway which was nice. The room wasn't really that accessible but that doesn't matter so much to me. What matters to me is what happend next. I took a bath and the water was FREEZING. I thought maybe it was just me but my father took a shower later the next morning and it was FREEZING again! There was no hot water whatsoever and several people complained. At check out I attempted to pay with a credit card through my travel agency reservation and the lady said "your card was denied" Funny how the night before that very card worked fine and at the restraunt we went to immediately after it worked just fine. She charged me 99 dollars for a reservation I had made for * dollars. She also said she would take 35.00 off the price for the cold water which should have made the stay no more than 43.00 or so minus tax. My stay ended up being over 125.00. I'm very displeased with the service we were given.

It wasn't so much that the room wasn't as clean as you would like. It was more that the couch was missing a leg and needed to be propped up and the entry door could be opened by pushing hard without the key.

This is an older facility that has not been updated. There are deadbolt locks on the door but no other security measures. None of the table lamps worked - we found out later they were all unplugged and the plugs were not accessible easily. The hot water in the sink leaked. We informed the front desk upon check-out. They apologized and said they would look into the problems. The restaurant attached had wonderful food and great wait staff. The front desk staff were very nice. The business center use was free - a bonus - so we could print boarding passes for our trip home. If you were looking for a place to just sleep for the night it might be okay. For more than one night, I would find somewhere else.

Superb staff, nice continental breakfast, comfy rooms, great for our dog. A little noisy, but, hey...it was the OR State HS Track Meet, so we expected teens would be noisy. But they were very polite, kind teens who were just excited!

This is an older hotel and as such is not what I expect from a Shilo Inn. Older, with beds that are not comfortable. I think staying at one of the other, cheaper hotels would have given me an equal experience for less money.

overall had a very nice stay except one problem. this hotel has a very nice breakfast (complementary), but during our stay the food ran out and nobody was there to refresh. This posed a problem as our team was there for a softball tourny and we had a limited time to eat and make it to ballpark. I went down 1 1/2 hrs before i was to leave and due to the fact that there were 3 tour busses the place was packed. That was understandable and so I went back to my room and waited till they were finished. Well they pretty much demolished all the food and the lady at desk informed me that they were waiting for the person who refreshes food to come in and that she was late. 1 hour later and she was still not in and so it ended up that the team and families got no breakfast. I just feel that a hotel that offers breakfast should have arrangements made for situations like this. Other than that it was okay.

The room was good with a very good breakfast. We were disappointed that our room was not made up on our last night but they made up for it by moving us to a better room.

"Not only did the front desk attendant actively ignore my family for a full 15 minutes while taking phone calls (not so much as an ""I'll be right with you""), but they have the most over-priced rooms and ridiculously uncomfortable beds I've had the displeasure of experiencing in years. We will NEVER stay at a Shilo Inn again."

We have stayed at the Eugene Shilo Inn on numerous occasions and have consistantly enjoyed the accomodations. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and the breakfast bar makes it an exceptional value. Great location and friendly staff.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and good sized. The hallway did not smell good when we were there. The price and convenient location make this a good place to stop during your travels but it won't highlight your trip.
