I have stayed at this hotel two times and find it very comfortable, excellent restaurant and a nice cozy bar to relax in. The neigborhood is very convenient for walking and sightseeing. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very good room although the ironing board was somewhat of a challenge to erect - definitely a two person job! Did not get time to sample the leisure facilities. Bar was very nice and relaxing but extortionatley expensive. Excellent breakfast although toaster appeared that it was about to set alight.

Really friendly staff and comfortable rooms! The hotel is extremely well located in Central London near transportation. The hotel is warm and inviting. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable.

We have stayed at the Sherlock Holmes several times over the past few years and always had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, which makes it very easy to get around. This last time, my husband left his I Pod in the hotel safe and did not realize it until we were on the train heading to the airport. He called the hotel, someone immediately found it, and it was sent to him by express mail.

I really had high hopes for this hotel. The pictures online made it look really very nice, but, pictures can be decieving. Don't get me totally wrong, it was "okay", just not what I was expecting. The hoteliers are trying very hard to have a nice, boutique hotel, and they come close. Maybe it is just beginning to show some disrepair and needs a little TLC. The staff was a mix of very nice to very distant. The resturant offered a good continental breakfast that was included in the price of my room, and off the menu items were prepared well also. I really liked the location, but probably would not spend my money here again.

good value but careless servicesee above- absence of shower gel etc ,from room, smell of smoke in bedroom and very basic in terms of standard of accommodation, pancakes for breakfast sour, poor management in restaurant. Location good.

Room appeared to have been recently updated. Very clean and comfortable for London. Restaurant prices seemed very high for the area so I did not eat there. The hotel is much nicer inside than you might think from the exterior. Very good staff. Location is ok for business (2 blocks from Baker St. tube station) but for leisure travel it may be a little to far north and west. Restaurant prices are very high. Very clean, comfortable and recently updated room.

The only title I could think of for this hotel is GOOD and BAD. 1/2 the staff was wonderful, the other 1/2 was awful. They messed up on our room, our names, phone calls that came in (we never received), 1/2 the staff seemed very confused. The room was cleaned well or was barely cleaned at all. One night though I got there and there was hair (from all body parts...) in my bed!!! They NEVER CHANGED THE SHEETS FROM THE PREVIOUS GUEST! So gross! I called down to the front desk and a love;y gentleman brought up new sheets and when we took off the sheets the mattress pad was COVERED in all sorts of hair. It was the most disgusting thing I ever saw in my life...I gagged! Literally! He was mortified. I think if this hotel had better management that it could be great. BUT it is lacking in supervision thus the inconsistant staff etc...

London BreakWhat a fantastic stay, room not ready on arrival due to technical problems with the computer system, however able to leave luggage and go for a wander. On return room still not quite ready so offered complementary drink at bar, within ten minutes, we were told we had been upgraded to a suite to compensate for the inconvenience-WOW what a room, unbelievabley fantastic, clean comfortable, with a bedroom upstairs!!! Breakfast was fantastic too, fabulous choice including three hot choices (we were on continental breakfast rate)Would definately stay here again, location spot on .

This hotel wins you over with its excellent location, outstanding value, and businesslike efficiency. The room I stayed in was comfortable and equipped with all the necessities for a business traveller - if you don't have a power adapter, don't worry - my desk had plugs for almost every major country. I do wish the WiFi was free, I find it mildly irritating that they charge for it, but given the room rate, I suppose I can't complain. The same goes for the lack of an included breakfast, however, with Starbucks only a few doors away, that's my preferred breakfast option anyway. All in all, you will not be disappointed at the Sherlock Holmes Hotel.

The hotel was great ,really friendly staff and great service. They were there for your needs in anyway as you needed them for advice,or to reccomend you places to go or eat out.Rooms are lovely as described and beds are nice and soft plus the pillows. We done the package with breakfast, wlcome drinks and little extras. The food i had for breakfast was really good for continental and plenty for everyone and of there choice. They had extras for an extra fee.Best breakfast so far as from previous places i stayed. All and all hotel brilliant would stay again and mixture of people stay there which is good. And very well situated for the sites shopping, theatre, attractions.Had real good time staying at the park plaza sherlock holmes hotel.

We arrived from the states at 6:35 am and the staff worked hard to get us into our room ahead of check-in time. We had a great traditional ""English"" breakfast while we waited and the concierge helped us plan a tour of London for the day. The room was wonderful.... the air worked fine, it was very clean and had a real fancy bath which included a whirlpool tub and very modern, provided 110 outlets and the bed was so nice. Next morning headed out for our cruise ship.*****

Large rooms, clean, safe and very conveniently located to the tube, and attractions. Very noisy in room, if you stay in a street side room. This hotel is wonderful for not only the business traveler, but also for the leisure traveler. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is very attentive. The hotel is located very close to the Baker Street underground stop, which makes it very easy to quickly get to the major attractions in London. The only drawback to the hotel is that both concierges were not very knowledgeable or helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in London.

Had a great stay here. Location excellent, close to Baker Street stop. If you prefer a quiet area, this may not be for you b/c it is right on Baker St. and is busy. But for those who like to feel a part of a city and want a more active location, it's great. Lots of restaurants, shops, etc. in walking distance. Also felt safe here b/c it was so busy. But room was quiet and no street noise. Hotel is small, but nice, modern & updated. Rooms are decent-sized for 1 or 2 people. Bathroom is modern, shower is VERY small, but not a big deal to me. Would stay here again.

Rooms were really small - we changed once. Also, the rooms were excessively hot and we were unable to alter the temperature!
