W swimming pools were beautiful and very versatile-for instance one had a waterfall, one had a beach, a few had kiddie pools-just gorgeous and not tto crowded, also the hotel offers all kinds of activities-one night they had a movie at the pool and had a fire where you could buy packages of ingredients to make smores.

I am looking forward to going back to this location. My daughter did not want to leave. The bathrooms and kitchens were modern, recently renovated. Wireless service was free and there were flat screen TV’s in each room. We ate breakfast on our screened in balcony while watching the ducks swim below. I can’t say enough about our experience.

Highly recommend. For the money, this is a much better hotel than the one we stayed at inside Disney ([other hotel].) The rooms were large and comfortable with beautiful decor. We especially liked the large showers in the master bathroom.

Top Five Reasons Not to Stay There. 1. You must wait 30 minutes to check-in. 2. You must then wait until after 4 p.m. to get a room. 3. You must then wait another 30 minutes to get your room key after you check in. 4. There is no shampoo in the rooms. 5. They do not give Sheraton points.

While this hotel is only minutes away from the Disney area, beware that the traffic can be a nightmare. Initially the staff told us the wrong building and room number so upon arrival we already had an issue. We did not get an "updated" room and the one that we got was small and very outdated. The room said that it sleeps up to 4 people...good luck with that. We fit just comfortably with just 2 of us. If you want anything done you need to speak Spanish. We had the maid service constantly coming to our room even though we requested at the front desk for them not to come. When they came, they didn't understand that we didn't want service and even argued that if we didn't have service that we would be charged for it. We even had someone almost just walk in with no notice to clean. She knocked and before we could say or do anything she was opening the door. The unit doors slam so hard that if you're asleep you get woken up and the toilets flush so hard you can here them in the units next to you. We got asked twice the day we were checking out when we were leaving, and when we did try to leave the maid got in front of us and made us wait so long for the elevator that we just walked the 4 stories down to our car. Good location (minus the traffic) for Disney, but not worth the aggravation of incompetent people.

Overall the room we stayed in was quite nice and clean. It was a 2 bedroom villa with lots of room. Our group consisted of 6 people and we did not feel cramped. However, the Warning is that this resort is a time share and they do not take no for an answer! We knew this going into it but was very surprised at their rudness towards us saying no. Here, they offer you a surprise package that consists of hand soap, shampoo, toothpaste and a razor along with some coupons. They also offered a free breakfast and 75.00 if we attended a 1.5 - 2 hour presentation about the timeshare that starts at 7:30 am. We agreed and collected our money. The next morning at 6:30 am we were rudely awakened by a phone call seeing if we were up and getting ready for the presentation. I don't know who these people think we are, we know how to set an alarm and wake up in time. My friend and I went to the presentation and were informed on our arrival that our wives had to be there as well. My wife was very tired and my friends daughter was ill and her mother was staying with her. They wanted us to come back at another time but declined and offered to give the money back. They pushed us to get our wives there but we said no and walked out. One hour after that, they called our room and offered another 25.00 if we would come back. We had to say no repeatedly before they left us alone. We only stayed one night and got alot of hassle for not attending their presentation.

We stayed at Sheraton Vistana 2X before and liked it. Beware if you get a good deal, they try and stick it to you. They gave us a 1970's timeshare very very old and musty w/no screen lanai. No TV in guest room for our kids. We complained and they gave us a new unit HOWEVER our lanai faced I-4. It was soooo loud with the traffic, we couldnt even sit outside. Also, we got locked out of our room 2X. I will never go there again.

We liked the facilities of the apartment (washer, dryer and dishwasher etc,) the main pool. Only wireless internet in the appertementroom. De internet facilities in the business center is too much commercial. The housekeeping stayed away. This room was more expensive than last year. We got the Jacuzzi. The pool main pool was very nice. We missed the General store on the Resort.

The resort is beautiful! When we checked in and given a room in the Cascades. They have different sections to the resort. The Cascades, The Lakes, and The Villias. We were told by the front desk that the Cascades would be their suggestion. They said it's the newest built. When we entered the room, it stunk, and it was old. I went back to the front desk of the resort and requested to be moved to another room in a different part of the resort. I wanted to see the room first before moving. They gave a key to a room in the Lakes! WOW! Now that was a room you expect from a resort. It was new, updated, smelled great and BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! I went back to the front desk and asked to be moved. I was charged $30 a night more to upgrade but it was worth it. The secert is the Cascades might be built last but the other sections have been redone recently. Remember: This is a time share resort, so when you check in they try to pressure you into attending the sales meeting to inform you about the different properies they have available for you to purchase. They were very nice to me untill I put my foot down firmly and said NO I'm not interested. They were very upset and said to me "Well I guess you know everything, so you don't need to attend our meeting". I simply walked away and enjoyed the rest of my vacation.

Upon arrival, there was a long wait to check in. It wouldn't have been a problem but seeing three other staff members behind the desk "hanging out" made it one (apparently they were part of the sales team and only checked-in owners). Because we went with three kids (ages 1-6), we appreciated the big space and the roomy layout. Plenty of running-around space. There was also a washer / dryer in the room and although we didn't need it for our weekend stay, we'd have definitely gotten good use of it had we stayed longer. Parking wasn't assigned but somehow it wasn't a problem. The rooms felt extremely dated and although everything seemed clean, it didn't really feel it. The hotel / condo could really benefit from a total update. At this price range, it's expected (even in Orlando). Finally, there weren't any nearby chain supermarkets so pack / buy before arrival.

The room was spotless. I couldn't even find any dust. The bed wasn't all that comfortable. I would recommend this resort for anyone. There is so much to do right there, even for kids. Well worth the price! Great place.

It took more than an hour to register and when I finally registered, the room was not ready and I had to return for the key which took me another 45 minutes. The sheets in the bedroom and sleeper sofa where dirty and disgusting. I live in Florida and travel to Orlando at least 6 to 8 times a year. We decided to give it a shot with this hotel, but never again.

You almost never have to leave; they have anything you want to do @ resort. It is a large resort and you can get easily lost, they should have painted unit different colors. This is a very nice resort; everyone was very polite and helpful. All attractions are close and easy to drive to.

Very nice resort with easy access to Disney by car. We are DVC members, but stayed a few nights when there was no availability at Disney. The two bedroom suite was huge, the resort was clean, and the tennis courts were great (13 courts, 10 of them clay). Just the anoying phone call for time shares at 8:30 in the morning after coming in late the night before. After politely saying no, no, no, that was the last we heard about it.

It took about a half hour or longer to check in and we were only staying for one night. It was very nice and way more than I expected. We only stayed for a night, but I would like to stay longer next time. Only problem I had was waiting to check in when I was staying for a night.

We found the resort awesome! We found there was plenty to do right at resort if you like a quiet place to relax. We had our days booked pretty full with theme parks and such. It was nice to come back to resort and relax after day at the parks. Excellant location to Disney and Universal. Villa was recently redone, clean and average for accessability issues for wheelchair users. Lots of room for family! Our teen loved the pool and games room, wanting to spend more of his time at resort rather then parks.

The only problem was the pressure to attend a time share meeting. Other than that the room was great. I had a 2 bedroom suite which had a jacuzzi in the Master bedroom. It is near Disney and had good resturants around the area
