Great location, nice staff, great breakfast, good rooms. Furniture a little stained. You need to use a key on every elevator and floor, which slows things down considerably. Spent 3 nights on the phone with their outside Internet provider, who has the audacity to charge 10.00 per day for the worst service I have ever consistently (7 nights) encountered. For all intents and purposes, there is NO INTERNET in the room. In the 21'st century, there is a problem there. To be fair, the staff waived all charges, but I would not stay there again, based on that one huge communications problem.

After 4 hours on the road, I needed R&R,plus a toilet! I found this room to look as if someone hurridly put fresh sheets on the bed an no attention on cleaning the room. I had to use the toilet and found pee and a wad of TP and black hairs in the bowl. yuck! The sitting room had a separate bar area with a coffee pot. The bar sink was dirty with old coffee spots, the fake door to the front of the bar was on the floor. The carpet was linty, the sofa was spotty and felt dirty, and, I scratched off cruddy spots with a brush. The tables were dusty. No hair dryer. This hotel is lacks the class of other Sheratons and poorly maintained, even the dining room ,Basils restaurant, need a good cleaning. I do not recommend this Sheraton.

Check was easy, and the staff was helpful in moving us to a different room farther from the elevator core and potential noise.

Beautiful room and staff very accommodating. Parking was an issue. The hotel was primarily a business persons lodging due to its location in the downtown business district but very nice and would do again.

the room had high points & very low points. the low points were the huge stains on the sofa and an area of the carpeting by the sofa. the high points were high ceilings, 2 lcd tv's, & spaciousness of the room. parking was secure (cameras, gates, etc.), but is located under ground & appeared somewhat unkept. we checked in at 1am & therefore very little staff interaction (& no room service), but what we experienced was a courteous front desk person. with slight cost improvements/modifications, this would be a beautiful hotel & would be well worth the price.

This was my first time in DE; my experience was memorable and likely to repeat. I attended a surprise birthday party for my brother and his wife. It was near St Patrick's Day, missed the parade, walked around the area. There only Fri night - sunday morning.

They didn't use fitted sheets for the bottom sheet on the bed. If you move around any on the bed, the bottom sheet has the tendency to bunch up.

I needed to take some time off from my usual day-to-day activities and slipped away to Wilmington, Delaware where I enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton Suites. It was a home away from home without the hustle and bustle of life. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stretch out on a nice, comfortable king-sized bed with flat screen TVs in two rooms. If, for whatever reason, you have to do work, the nice desk set-up was also beneficial. They also have a business center if you just have to get out of your room. If you are looking for shopping malls or anything nearby, plan to take a drive on the scenic route to New Castle (approximately 15 minutes away) because this hotel is located in the heart of downtown.

This hotel was very great. The room was very spacious and amazing. It was a quiet environment and even though i got there late i had no problems checking in, and i slept like a baby.

It was in town, with restaurants to walk to. Mattress seemed old. The hotel lobby and restaurant were beautiful, including an excellent computer center. The breakfast buffet was just okay. Our suite was quite large, but generically furnished. The mattress seemed old. The bathroom was tired with cheap tile, etc. The halls were extremely plain. The concierge floor common room with breakfast was great.

The hotel stay was good, the only negative experience was we were not able to park our suv in the hotel parking lot. The outside attendant was not very friendly because we needed to unload our luggage before going across the street to another area to park. We did take a some time because we had to toddlers to unload with their belongings. The desk clerks were very friendly. The hotel itself was excellent.

My family & I were traveling the Mid-Atlantic region, and decided on this hotel as a perfect half-way stop in-between our New York and Virginia drive. When we arrived it was very apparent the hotel was under a major renovation. Though some of the activities were not available to us due to the renovation, the Front Desk staff was very accommodating in giving us passes to a pool and work-out facility across the street. This was perfect, as our kids were looking forward to swimming. Though the restaurant was under construction, we were able to have a delicious lunch outside, with special discounted pricing. It was a gorgeous day, and very relaxing for us to be on vacation, watching the world go by, and sipping on the house specialty – Pomegranate lemonade. The hotel is also dog friendly, and had a very creative package at check-in for our pooch. *I think she loved her “Sheraton” dog bed as much as we loved our Sweet Sleeper – it was extremely comfortable. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The Front Desk staff was very knowledgeable in providing suggestions for our family activities. Though the renovation was in full form, you never would have known it from their service level. We will definitely be back to this hotel – especially to see the completed renovation, which looks to be extremely beautiful and trendy!

This hotel had nice updated rooms. The elevators were hit or miss- often your room card would not work to get to your room and there was a line to get a staff member to help you. We called room service once and no one answered. The parking deck was small and hard to get in and out of. The spaces were too small and people parked over the lines, filling it up. We were told if you had a nice car do not park on the street or it would get broken into. Located in a bad area.

We were staying at this hotel and paid for three nights, We decided to stay at another location for the first night and called the hotel to say we were arriving a date late. When we arrived to check in they looked up our reservation and said that as we didnt check in the night before they had recorded us as a no show and cancelled the booking and we would have tp pay for two nights agian to stay. I explained we had called both the hotel and travlocity but the rude person at the front desk just ignored me. Travle online called her to explain and she put them on hold and attended to 3 new customers and continued to ignore me and the person on hold on the phone despite there being another person at the front desk who could have dealt with the new customers. We wasted an hour at the front desk and finally called the GM who agreed to honour the reservation at no addtional charge. That person on the front desk ruined our whole experience at this hotel. The worst custoemr experieince I have had in years of travlling and staying in these hotels. The hotel was also under renovation so had no business center and no bar or restaurant.

The room was great. Very clean and organized. Front desk was very pleasent and a speedy check in. The banquet food was decent and I am sorry to say I was disappointed in the pool area. Other than that it was a wonderful stay. The halls were clean, perhaps a few more ice machines on floors would be nice.

Nice suites. Prices for internet, parking. Nice hotel. Internet $9.95 per day. First time Ive seen a charge in many years. Parking is $16.00 per night extra.
