We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton near the Galleria. The location was close to excellent shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff was very accommodating. The hotel was nice but not nice enough to rank 5 star. Otherwise, the reason I am taking the time to fill out this survey, was that the staff did an excellent job making sure we were happy during our stay.

Large and comfortable beds, small living room for meetings and location was very central. No free cofee at the lobby and no room service. Best for business meetings. Meeting space inside the room and a business level restaurant at the lobby. Personnel was very friendly and willing to help at anytime. Small pool can be used by those who are accompanying a business person.

This was my first visit to houston and i saw that the Sheraton Suites was located near where i wanted to be and booked it while driving in my vehicle. The room was Amazing, very cozy, nice view. The Staff were very pleasant...and the food...very very good. everything you need is there...and to have a garage to park your vehicle which also has security camera's...a big plus. I usually stay at the Sheraton when i go on trips or vacation when there is one available, and Sheraton has always made my stay very nice. they will always be my 1st Choice...if you're ever in this part of town...stay at the sheraton suites.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a 5-day weekend. First impressions are everything. 1) Lobby: Nice friendly staff, good concierge with tourism info. Free internet access and printing in the business center. BAD: Business center was located right next to the registration desk, and wide open - no privacy or noise reduction. 2) Parking: Self-parking available. BAD: 12/day parking rate for GUESTS? Terrible. 3) Room: Spacious, view of the higway and all of Houston. There was a sitting area and small kitchenette with a sink and refreigerator. BAD: Couch looked like it was thrown away as a garage sale reject. It was OLD, tattered wool, and the color of your grandmother's mustard carpet in the 70s. It completely made the entire room look unkept. And the bed was stiff. There was no microwave, even when we requested one, they didn't have ANY to give. (What's the use of a kitchenette without a microwave?) And the best part, when I turned on the sink, the faucet blew off and water was everywhere. They came in cleaned it and offered to comp half our parking fee. Unbelievable. 4) Restaurant & Pool: We didn't try either, but it looked good and busy on most days. 5) Fitness center: The best part of the entire hotel, although it needs a machine for abs. 6) Location: The second best part. It was right around the corner from the Galleria, next to many restaurants, and right next to highway 610. Overall, it was not at all a bargain considering we felt like it was a Motel 6 instead of a Sheraton. I was highly disappointed because I'd stayed in Sheraton Hotels before and NEVER had I had the kind of experience I had here. We won't be staying here ever again.

A superb experience from the moment of arrival. Friendly and courteous check-in staff met my request for toiletries. The location was easy walking distance from the Galleria, where I had two business meetings. The hotel is modern and clean, the room was in beautiful condition, the fitness center was very good, with everything working. The staff was prompt -- moreso, they reminded me -- in handling my request for a (free) shuttle guide to my nearby business destination for my next-day early-morning meeting. I would highly recommend the Sheraton Suites for business or leisure travelers and intend to make it my HQ for planned future travel to Houston.

The best hotel accommodations ever! Very friendly.

The room was spacious and very comfortable, and all of the staff was polite and professional. The only small drawback was some audible traffic noise, but the hotel is right on one of Houston's major freeways. I really enjoyed my brief stay here and would come back to this hotel for a longer stay in this area.

The staff was quite helpful. Nice hotel, very clean and attractive. Found cockroach in our room, hotel staff immediately came up helped us pack our things and upgraded us to a premier suite, and comped back everything we had spent on dinner & drinks up to that point.

Staff was great, location is great once you figure out how to get back to the hotel(its on a one way street). Room was spacious, sofa was okay, room had normal carpet unlike many of the hotels in houston, The bed could have been softer but was good, room service fast, food was good, pool is very small but clean, Self park only $ every comparable hotel in the area charges $ I know I come to Houston often. A/C very cold and quiet, for me that has been hard to find in houston, especially in this price range. LArge mirror and counter space for both of us to get ready, decent size bathroom tub and shower. Towels were so so but always in plenty. The rooms could use a microwave and dvd player. Still with all that said I prefer this hotel any day to derek or hilton. Thing that impressed me most was how well the room service kept the place clean while also respecting my girlfriend and I. I didn't pay much for this hotel, stayed four days and loved it!

The rooms (all suites) are beautiful and spotlessly clean. Staff is efficient and hotel is very well-managed. Loved the Bliss bath products, robes, and slippers. I am picky about hotels and usually prefer Westin over Sheraton, but this was nicer than most Westins we have stayed in. Rooms are large with generous vanity area. Easy walk to Galleria. Easy access to main freeways. Beware the outrageous valet parking charges-- use the self-park, which is convenient and close, although still a little expensive (12 per day). The only hotel restaurant is a very expensive steakhouse, but there are many restaurants within a short walk. Pool area is attractive but quite small.

We actually were traveling to Mexia but chose to fly into Houston & stay overnight @ the Sheraton Suites and drive the next day to our final destination because we have always enjoyed our stays here. The location is wonderful. So many great places to enjoy great food. (Pappadeaux's, Saltgrass or Houston's are all near by). We will return again and again.

It was a very big room and was easy access from the highway. Traffic is horrible in this area, and also the parking prices were a little high.

Loved this hotel! The suite arrangement was great for sharing with my friend, giving us both separate "space" and privacy when we needed it. Fridge had room for our sodas & snacks, Pepsi machine down the hall, free wi-fi, and upscale linens. Maid service was meticulous - even making fancy folds in the towels to just make it look "special". The only thing we paid extra for was the 12.99 daily self-park fee. The only thing I didn't like about the room was the heavy duvet-style cover on the bed - too heavy & warm, and we had to crank the air conditioning on so we could sleep (and it was 40 degrees outside!). Traffic on the West Loop can be very bad, which is a disadvantage, but all in all, this was a great deal, and we really enjoyed our stay. Bonus - I left my power adapter for the laptop plugged into the wall, and when I called two days later I figured it would be gone for good, but to my surprise they found it and sent it to me.

We liked the overall room design. The living area was comfortable with a nice couch and chair great for relaxing. Bedroom was attractive/comfortable. Room service had very limited menu for the last hour of service 11pm to midnight. This was an attractive property. The rooms were large and well laid out. The common areas were nice and the staff friendly. I would return and stay at this hotel again.

The quality of the room (suite) was well worth the price. Travelling with a 3 year old, the staff was more than accommodating to him and the rest of us. Ever try getting a chocolate milk at 10pm when it's not on any menu? No problem. Special dinner needs at the Omaha Steakhouse? No problem. The best part of the experience though, was the service of the front desk staff and the concierge. When I was off at work during the day, the concierge staff made car arrangements to take my wife and son to the Galleria only 1-2 blocks away, saving them from walking the "gauntlet" (Those of you familiar with the area no how "unfriendly" it is for pedestrians; especially children)Besides my honeymoon in the Mexican Riveria, this was one of the best stays I've had.ALL THE HOTELS IN THE AREA HAVE THE FREE INTERNET, COMFY BEDS, POOLS, SPA, ETC. BUT THE SERVICE YOU GET IS EVERYTHING. THE SHERATON DID NOT DISSAPPOINT.

I had togo to The Galleria Mall to work and they would take me and pick me up with their van. When I was departing they arranged transportation from the mall as well as had a car waiting with my luggage ready to go. I will sty there the next time I am in Houston!

Spacious room, clean and helpful staff. Air conditioning wasn't as cool asI would have liked. Located across and around corner from Galleria mall. Easy access to strip mall around corner for deli , stores etc. Very clean spaces, we would stay again.

The Sheraton Suites Galleria is in an excellent location within walking distance to the Galleria Mall and a 24 Hour Starbucks store locals call Club Starbucks. The hotel, however is badly in need of being updated. Upon exiting the elevator to go to my room, I was greeted with workers in masks, blowing machines and plastic covering damp carpets. Excellent location near Cheesecake Factory, etc., but badly in need of updating.
