The location of the Hotel is outstanding. Within walking distance of all major attractions and restaurants. We parked our car at the Hotel when we arrived and did not need it again until we left for home.

The front desk and restaurant staff were very nice. It doesn't deserve a three-star upscale rating. It needs a makeover in a hurry. The first room they put me in was small and far away from the elevator. I got lost looking for the ice machine. The second room was bigger with a nice bathroom, but the sheets were stained and there was food on the carpet. It was so mildewy that a friend of mine couldn't stay in there because of her allergies. When it was brought to the attention of the woman who cleaned it, she was very nasty to me and let me know in no uncertain terms how mad she was to have to re-do her work. The elevators were not all working and there was a long wait. The restaurant staff was great and the food was good. I would not stay there again unless they made major renovations.

Our room was nice and the beds very comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying at the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel Philadelphia.

We stayed for one night with our 2 kids to see sites in Philadelphia and to swim in the pool. We were very happy with the hotel. It is easy walking distance to all historic sites and good restaurants. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool was excellent and very warm. Rooms were comfortable, basic but nice beds. Our only complaint was that they were understaffed for breakfast and it took a while to get expensive but mediocre food. Also the parking is very expensive $35 for the night plus tips for the valet (who were extremely helpful and nice.)

Used the travel agency and was that the reason we got a room far far from the elevator? Room itself very nice. Had a little trouble with just double beds (but then that is all that anywhere in Philly seemed to have). There were four of us in the room and none of us tiny. We loved the enclosed, but skylighted, swimming pool on the roof. It was bright, clean, huge and a great hot tub area. Trolly tours and such stop close by. Taxis didn't seem to be too expensive. Went to the Star Wars Exhibit per cab. No gift shop open. All the hotel workers were very friendly and helpful. Only valet parking and all those people great too.

Housekeeping fair at best. Pieces of paper on the carpet when we arrived still there 6 days later. Fabulous location and friendly staff. We'd stay there again

The best thing about the hotel was it's location, couple of minuets walk from everything.

Stayed there for the first time in October with my-laws and wife. The location is very convenient, rooms were clean, and quite, bathroom is somewhat small. Overall found the hotel to be somewhat above average, staff was nice. Parking is easy with valet but expensive about $40/day. Plan on staying during Thanksgiving at a much discounted price then the first time.

I attended a meeting at the property. Rooms are currently under replacement of soft goods. Front desk staff was very helpful. Location was good. About 3-4 blocks from Philly city center. Subway is about 5 blccks from city center. Would definitely stay there again..

The outstanding thing about the Sheraton Society Hill is the warmth and helpfulness of the staff: from the clerk at the front desk who checked us in to the counter person at the Starbucks in the lobby; we felt welcome. As to the room, it was the normal room one would expect at a three star hotel; comfortable, but nothing special. And we liked being so close to major historical sites such as Independence Hall as well as comfortable, tasty restaurants. Our major concerns were that the hotel nickel-and-dimes you on some items. There is a ten dollar a day charge for wifi access and a glass of skim milk on the breakfast delivery menu is $14 (wow!) We got one small bar of soap that was apparently supposed to serve us both at the sink and the shower for all three days we were there. And it would have been helpful if the hotel's site mentioned the fact that there was shuttle service to and from the airport for a reasonable charge ($10 per person). Also, although the waiter we had in the Wooden Nickel was a very sweet guy, the food was well below mediocre. We did like the fact that there is a Starbucks in the main lobby so that one could jump out of bed and grab a latter first thing in the morning. Ultimately, the first and last point we'd emphasize is how nice the staff is. When one is in an unfamiliar city, it is great to be treated well.

Centrally located, attractive lobby, well-equipped gym, pool, and hot tub. Shabby room decor, no drawers for clothes, no shelves, my window faced a gravel roof top and an air-conditioning system and nothing else... This hotel has a grand entrance, attractive lobby, and good service in a great location. However, my room was shabby at best, with a horrible view out of my window of a gravel roof top and an ancient air-conditioning system that looked like something out of Chernobyl- I kept the sheers closed. There were two very small drawers for me to put my things away in, and the closet was crappy with a plumbing pipe to hang clothes on.

We had a wedding here this weekend. It could have been better. My brother in law had a leaking a/c unit with a soaked carpet and wasn't even the type room he wanted. To eat there you needed to take out at loan for so so food. Too much $$$$. The jacuzzi was broken and the work out equipment looked too worked out. Some child left a deposit in the pool which got us out and there was the fire alarm that went off in the middle of the afternoon for no reason. There was a wedding reception with loud music making it hard to sleep. I called down at12:30am and was told the music would be going til 2am. No one wanted to take our bags to the room until I had them to the elevator and done most of the work. I opted to finish the job myself instead of tipping for not doing their job. My room was ok, with a small bathroom.

This Sheraton was in a great location. Within walking distance of Independence Park, however the quality of the hotel itself was horrible. Half the hotel under construction with no advanced warning about that. The room was falling apart, ceiling coming down in bathroom, scuffed, no lightbulb in lamp! Elevators were scary to ride in due to jerking stops and starts.Staff was friendly in an attempt smooth things over but would not recommend this until at leaset renovations are done and then with caution!

Very comfortable, spacious, and clean rooms. Just a few blocks away from the main drag in Philly.

No big problem. Bad bath ventilation. Bath Ventilation is bad, so it is wet and humidity.

This is a lovely hotel in a good location near the Hyatt Regency and Penns landing. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was free one hour access to several computers in the lobby for guests. The room was nice and comfortable and it was in a quiet area but still only a reasonable walk from all the main attractions in the city. The only complaint I could have is that there was only one restaurant in this hotel and not the three that were listed. This limits choice if you are staying several nights but there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Everything about this hotel is a disaster! The room is smelly and terrible. You even see water leak mark on the ceiling. There?s no fan in the bathroom, so the moment you walk in, the room itself is really smelly.

the Sheraton Society Hill was very well located, near historic sites, Penn's Landing, and in the heart of a fabulous array of restaurants. while the hotel could probably use a minor facelift, the rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the common areas had all the amenities you could want, with restaruant, two bars, and free internet access.

Location was convenient and easy to find. Hotel room was not clean. It was infested with ants and the staff was not very reactive to my requests. The hotel is conveniently located near Penns Landing and many Philadelphia must see attractions.

Room was clean, all ineterior spaces were spotless! Our room was pretty standard, didn't have a nice view, but was fine. Lots of extra pillows and high qulaity sheets/duvets. Staff were helpful and friendly. One drawback- not close to Center City, but very close to Septa buses and trains. Also, neighborhood (Society Hill) is absolutely beautiful;.
