We were there while waiting on transportation to Oxford. The concierge service was superior. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was adequate. Ther was no place to get just a cup of coffee or tea in the morning at a reasonable price. The internet service was sporadic and difficult to navigate. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great place for a short stay.

Very nice, felt even nicer than a 4 star hotel. It was clean. Luxurious, and just what was needed to wind down from my flight.

Very nice rooms and conveniently located a couple of mins from LHR.

This hotel is very comfortable, up-to-date and certainly convenient for travellers passing through Heathrow with an overnight stop. My only complaint is that they (and other Heathrow hotels, I suspect) take advantage of the captive audience to price gouge. For example, how can they justify charging £15 for 24 hours of Internet access? That's at least 50% more than rates at wireless hotspots in the city.

The hotel was nice with large rooms and air conditioning. However, the amenities leave room for improvement (i.e. kids activity room that closes at 7pm, pool closed 2 out of the 3 days we were there, computers for internet were down). It made it hard to entertain our daughter during the nights, which is typicallly the primary time you utilize hotel amenities. Additionally, there were issues with the concierge (i.e. messed up car rental, confusion on bus information). But for the value and being located in a foriegn country, it was much more than expected. The rooms were comparable to rooms in the US and, despite being next to the airport, the hotel was very quiet. Additionally, the hotel let us check in early, which was greatly appreciated after a 3 1/2 hour flight delay. Overall, a good place for the value, conveniently located near an underground station (free bus service to the station), friendly staff, etc.

They used such low wattage lighting in the room that the room was very dark even with all lights on. the desk light made the desk useless. the bed linens were too small. Can't they afford sheets that fit the bed? Same comment for the comforter. I had two restless nights in tangled sheets. Motel 6 is better. The restaurant meals seemed very overpriced so we ate instead at their sports bar/grill. That was also overpriced and the food was mediocre. Worse, though, was the noise. They had the background music turned up to near pain threshold. I had to ask 3 times to lower the volume before they did. The first time the volume was lowered for a minute then turned right back up. Seems the cook likes the music loud and the heck with the customers. We had an early (7:30) flight out and were told to be at the terminal 3 1/2 hours early. That means we had to leave the hotel at 4:00 AM. The free shuttle leaves at 4:40, so to be safe, we asked the concierge to have a taxi waiting for us at 4:00. Well he did. But it seems that the terminal didn't open till 5:00, so we got there an hour early. We spent 10 pounds to take a taxi not knowing we didn't have to. The concierge should have known the Heathrow terminal didn't open till 5:00 AM and thus saved us the money. Overall I was very unimpressed with th hotel. We stayed in a number of hotels, inns/B&Bs. All of them were pleasurable. Compared with them and our experiences elsewhere, The Sheraton just did not measure up

Just what we needed......following a thirteen hour flight into Heathrow from Singapore. The room was huge compared to many hotels we have stayed in. The room was clean and the bed's matress was pleasently firm, not soft, especially those where two people roll into the middle because the springs are shot.We were both tired from the long flight and decided not to change and go to the restaurant. Instead, we took advantage of the hotel's room service - which comes with a guarantee that if the food is not delivered in 30 minutes, you get it for free. The food arrived after 20 minutes - not only was the food hot but it also and tasted fantastic. And the kitchen were able to cater for special dietary requirements. The bottle of red went down a treat too!We chose this hotel through Late Rooms as a one night stop over en route to home. It's a short taxi or Hoppa bus ride from Heathrow T3 and it's quiet despite its proximity to the airport.Would we use it again? Absolutely.

Very updated, 4-star deluxe not a question, spacious rooms, nice public areas. Front desk staff were a little snooty.

in general the sheraton skyline was a nice hotel but i found that it didn't live up to the sheraton name. i found the satff in th both the restuarants to be friendly and helpful and the food was excellent and the room was clean and tidy.

I had a business meeting at Heathrow. Searched at the airport with a swimming pool. I checked on the hotel site to make sure it would be open when I stayed there on a Friday night. Unfortunately I was not able to use the pool. Every night the hotel has something called Bombay Nights at the hotel pool. Guests cannot enter the pool area and bar since it is used by non-guests ? primarily west London Indian community. I could not swim but there was a bar there. However I was asked to leave by the bar management and security escorted me out. Complaining to hotel management I was told I could use the bar after all. I declined their offer. However, whilst I could not use the bar-pool area ? the noise from this Bombay Nights event was heard very loudly in my bedroom way past midnight. Later management lied by saying I had appeared in the bar with jeans on. I disproved this since they said earlier they would escort me back to the bar. I have had similar situations like this in hotels in the UK and find the only way to have a complaint taken seriously is to contact their US head office. I did this and was treated as a guest should and the situation was properly investigated and I had my entire nights stay refunded. Hotels forget that their primary purpose is for guests to Sleep, and they should never prefer non-guests over hotel guests.

Upon checking we were greeted by an unfriendly receptionist who told me that I would be charged an extra 40 pounds for an extra bed. The room was prepaid, but she wanted a credit card for room incidentals, which I provided. I was told I would receive a 50 pound hold that would be removed the next day. After arguing with the receptionist about the fee that I had already paid for the room and being required to bring back down my booking confirmation, we were able to retreat to the room. Upon check out, the staff was just as unfriendly in providing us with transportation information. When I checked my credit card, I had $190 charge from the Sheraton Skyline. When I called to speak to someone about the charge, on an international call, I was placed on hold and routed to several different voicemails. When I finally got someone live on the phone, the accounting department was just as curt and rude as the rest of the hotel. It was a completely unsatisfactory experience and I would not recommend this hotel to any international traveler. I was told the reason for the charge on my card was because it was not a British credit card.

We had a one night stay to catch a flight in the early AM. What a wonderful hotel and decently priced! Great beds, excellent restaurant and really great service from everyone in the hotel. Only 9 pounds in a Mercedes for taxi to Heathrow and the coolest bar/pool area ever! We would definitely stay here again. There is a McDonalds nearby, but NOTHING else.

The Sheraton Skyline Conference Center was very comfortable, the room had ample space, very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The restaurant in the hotel was very good. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night as we were leaving for the United States the next morning. We had asked for the concierge to make a reservation for a taxi for the morning of our departure and the taxi driver was ready and waiting that morning. We thought we were going to have a problem with noise in our room as our next door neighbors were very loud, but after they settled down, we never heard another thing and certainly could not hear any airplanes taking off or landing from Heathrow.

The bed was the most comfortable we have encountered on our travels! Limited TV channels. We were greeted outside immediately we arrived and helped with our luggage. The check-in was friendly, fast and very efficient. The room was large, well furnished and the bed comfort was exceptional. Great for business travellers, with trouser press, iron/plus board and computer access.

Room was comfortable although the plumbing was difficult (toilet stubborn and 5 unlabeled knobs in bathtub). Big shock to discover that though the web site advertises ""high-speed internet available in every room"" there is an absurdly high charge--over 28 per day at April exchange rates. This should be clear before you reserve, but since it is a free service at many of their competitors I can see why they conceal it.

Excellent value - large room in a modern hotel close to the airport. Our room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the parking lot. Very quiet but a bit of a walk to the lobby. We dined once in the Sports Bar - good friendly service. We thought the regular dining room was expensive for breakfast @ 17 GBP for the buffet and coffee 3.50GBP. Overnight parking for guests costs 15GBP. Basically we used the hotel as a base and only slept there and usually dined elsewhere. Very convenient for the airport and the lobby staff were knowledgeable and helpful arranging transport to the terminal.
