I like the cleanliness. I did not like that I had to pay for parking.

We just stayed there (Jan 09)We go skiing every year with our 6 and 8 year old boys and this location is amazing, best one for us so far, we just needed to go downstairs pick up our skies and ski right out the door. The rooms were renovated and the beds were very comfy, we had a "side view" but beautiful, we arrived at sunset and I took this most beautiful picture right out of our balcony. I wish I could post it! We got the rate that included breakfast(smart thing to do, specially if you go with kids, my husband and i got the free nice buffet breakfast and the boys only paid $8, a bargain, for the same) Food is expensive at Steamboat, now at the same location there's a Sheraton villas, 2 or 3 bedrooms, next time if we go with another family I think we'll do the villas, because the kitchen. If you have a big family it's a good deal. The front desk was friendly, you have a choice of parking your own car, which is a nice savings, still have to pay for parking but the parking takes you right into the hotel. Great location, beautiful lobby, the servers at breakfast, very nice and professional, when my kids were not skiing they loved playing in the computers downstairs for free!!! there's even a small game room. the bar offer great food and great view. We only have good things to say about this Sheraton, and we've been to bad Sheraton's before. I would stay there again. I almost forgot the hot tubs were great, outdoors, you could watch people skiing. The pool was closed but I could see it from our room and it looked kind of far walk in the open cold.

I have no clue what that other review is about but this resort and staff were some of the most personal and friendly I have ever met. The location cannot be beat at all within town. Sevens and 3 Saddles were fantastic to eat and drink at while my wife and I could watch the kids at ski school. I would suggest this hotel to anyone that wants to stay at a posh resort. From my stay this past holiday I learned that the hotel is going to be rennovated and updated to a 4 diamond. I cannot wait to come back and see the new place, I already have my reservation for new holiday. Besides the hotel the town is one of a kind as far as ski resorts go, very quaint and western. Family fun for sure and the wife actually got to ski because we had no worries about the kids. If you have the resources STAY AT THE SHERATON!!!!

Toilet ran all night and someone on the floor above us was dragging furniture or something across the floor at 7:30 or 8 in the morning.

Is WOW, I had such a fantastic stay up there in Steamboat and the hotel made the difference. This slope side resort was just what my wife and I needed in order to get away from the hustle of Austin. Now being from Texas I wanted a place that still had an appeal for us and the rancher style town of "The 'Boat". Boy, let me tell you that as soon as you get into town you feel like you have been sent to a far away land where hospitality and being kind isn't just for show. The hotel did a great job in making me and my wife feel the comfort that we so desired as well as giving us the option to decide what we really wanted to do. That type of control in my time up there was one of a kind, they gave me options and I got to choose. I heard that the summers in the Rockies are even more peaceful and I get to go fly fishing all I want while the wife can get pampered at the hotel/resort. This Sheraton is just what you need in order to get away from your stress or really find your happiness away from home. Can't wait to see the colors in the fall of all those Aspens I skied through this winter. Oh yeah, I skied right into the hotel from the slopes. The summer trip will be with the kids.Take the advice of that other comment on here and STAY AT THE SHERATON!!!

Remodeled and modern look. Really nice restaurant/bar overlooking slopes. The beds at the Marriott are more comfortable. I really enjoyed this hotel and would defiantly go back. Very convenient and close to the mountain. No need to drive anywhere.

The view from our room was pathetic!! even though we booked our room 6 months in advance, and they said there was nothing they could do. There was probably only 10-12 rooms w/o views in the entire hotel, and we were given one. Very disappointing when you travel 2000 miles for a family vacation.

It was right on the slopes and convenient to shops and town. Great place to stay for skiing, right on the slopes, clean comfortable rooms and comfy beds. There's a ski shop on the first floor, which was convenient.

Staff was rude and CLUELESS. I asked for directions for something that turned out to be 1 block away. The one young man just looked blank and said I dont know. He turned and walked off. The Young Lady said "Its down there" I said Where is down there? She said "where you came in" I said It was very dark where I came in and its late and I am not from here" She replied "I told you where it was at" Both were very Rude. Charges for Internet in room and Bottled Water even if you didnt want it.. You have NO CHOICE and this is not mentioned either. When I came down and asked if there was charge for I net and the water in the room. Same rude response was Yes its 8.00 a day. I asked could I opt out.. She rudely said "no you cant" I guess if like to ski the lift is right out the door.. This was summer and was useless to me. I have stayed in Many Many Sheratons and this one was not anything like any Sheraton I have stayed at before. I would not go to Steamboat again If this was the only hotel available.

Friendliest staff ever, beautiful, homey, fireplaces andgorgeous views. Wished there would have been a mirror I could get close to. Absolutely amazing - extra-friendly staff, beautiful common areas with fireplaces andgood food - really just too good!

Very convenient to slopes, clean rooms, good staff, good food. $9.95 daily Internet fee. As a 54 y/o physician out for a quick weekend of snowboarding (sans wife), I wanted something close to the slopes with all the amenities. This met my needs.

Great location and nice staff and accommodations. Hallways noisy, only two hot thumbs working, so much steam on the windows you can't see out the window without opening the patio door. Great experience. We would definitely visit again!

Location, style, and access. Old building, but remodeled. At the base of Werner mountain, surrounded by the base mountain shops and restaurants, this property is both accessible and private. Whether you are on a business trip or a romantic getaway, this is a hotel that begs for your attention. Excellent staff presence and service are hallmarks of the property.

Staff was very personable. Poor lighting at sink. Good not shave or put on make-up. I would stay again if the lighting was improved at the bathroom sink. Even one of the small bulbs was burnt out making it even worse. Otherwise we like staying there.

Location. Parking garage was dirty, wet. The hotel is not currently at a 3 star level. Half of the exercise equip was out of order, the ice machine on our floor was out of order and our room was not as clean as we would have liked. The only parking option is the under ground parking garage which was dark and wet (water was leaking from overhead pipes at several points). Adding insult to injury, parking was an extra.

Clean, nice, atmosphere, plush rooms. Nothing negative. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Recommend to anyone.

Beautiful views, nestled in the mountains. Did not have sports bar. Very beautiful, nice, staff was outstanding, especially the desk clerks.

Location. A low budget style hotel. Check-in: There was a male and female at the counter at check-in. We dealt with the male, who was unfriendly and didn't seem to want to bother with us. He checked us in with no sign of customer service friendliness. Room: Basic 2-star room, nothing fancy, nothing special, just a room, bed, TV, iron, etc. Room was dull and dingy looking. Services: Continental breakfast was ok. Room was very small and everyone had to lean over/around each other when getting food. Luckily a few people picked up their breakfast items and left, I'm assuming going back to their room which I'd be a bit concerned about eating in due to cleanliness. Though, if some wouldn't have done this we'd have all been sitting in each other's laps in the tiny room.
