Although we paid for a parking spot, none were available. We drove around for over 2 hours, waiting for one to open up. However, the manager did apologize and gave us coupons for 2 breakfast buffets. Also, our room uas undesirable. For $20 more a night, we switched to a much larger, nicer room.

Have stayed at this hotel twice and the second time was a little bit disappointed with our room, which was a little dated. Hotel is a a fantastic location just across the road from the beach and cheesecake factory and in the heart of waikiki, but the rooms could use some refurbishing. Nice pool and onsite restaurant was also good.

A lice of ocean view was great. The beds and pillows were soooo! comfortable. A wonderful lanai and the staff were very courteous and helpful. Perfect location for all Waikiki events. Very Hawaiiana. I loved it.

The "PK" (the name the locals call the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani hotel) is a good hotel with an excellent location in the heart of Waikiki. It is literally about 50 yards away from the famed Waikiki Beach, and right on Kalakaua Avenue, which has all of the main shops, restaurants, and street performers in Waikiki. We stayed for 8 nights in the taller tower on the side facing Waikiki Beach and the view was pretty amazing (I recommend getting a room in the taller tower on the side facing Waikiki Beach on the 12th floor or above for the best views). The hotel is an older hotel so don't expect an ultra-modern hotel like a Gansevoort or W, but they have done a good job of keeping it clean, and the hotel has most of the amenities that you would want (including a well equipped gym). The staff working the front desk were very friendly, and the housekeeping staff was very good about stopping by about every other day (in addition to the daily room cleaning) to make sure things were okay. The only negatives would be the parking situation and the coffee service we received on one day. Finding a parking spot on weekdays is fine, but during the weekend, if you pull in to the garage after 7 PM, good luck finding a parking spot. As for the coffee service, we noticed what looked like a fruit fly in the coffee that was brought to us via room service. Needless to say, we didn?t order any coffee after that. But all in all, we had a good experience with the hotel and would stay there again.

This hotel is in a great, central location in Wikiki. Across the street from the beach. If you want to see the ocean, upgrade to the high tower, higher floors. Ask for rooms closer to the street. Even though they will be a bit noisier, the view will be great. Make sure you stay on floors above the 15th floor, otherwise, the 10 floor hotel bldg will block your view. Easy walking to anything you lke to do on Wikiki, shopping, dinning, car rental, activities. Two ABC convenience stores are very close, one downstairs and one across the street at the Hyatt. One thing this hotel needs is a renovation. However, since you won't be staying there much, it is just fine and comfortable. Not much to do at the hotel. The pool has a very small 3 foot section, the rest of it varies between 6 and 8 feet, not convenient to non-swimmers. The pool is fairly small. You can check out towels to take to the beach then bring back, very handy. Most of the afternoons during the week we stayed there, they offered fresh golden pineapples cut up by one of the chefs for guests to enjoy - very refreshing and delicious. The concierge desk was very helpful so don't bother buying touring packages before arriving. They have plenty of options for good prices and you can take your time to think about them. You pay for them there and tour buses pick you up from the lobby - so convenient. Everything on Wikiki is expensive so expect to spent more than you have budgeted for. Hotel staff was very friendly and courteous.

Easy access to free internet in lobby. Clean, comfortable room, but noisy in the evening as Hawaiian music from restaurant below, carried up to the rooms stopped by about 11 though, sookay if not had an early night.

Location was fantastic. Nightly entertainment onsite meant that if you didn't want to even leave your room you could open the door to the lanai and checkout the evenings events.

We enjoyed our stay at the Princess Kaiulani. The location was right in the middle of everything. It was an easy walk to both sides of Waikiki. We had a high ocean view room on the 23 rd floor and we loved the view. Our room faced the pool, from our lanai we could see the beach and ocean on one side, the mountains on the other side, Kaiulani Ave, where there is always something happening, and the pool area which had music every night. I could see the sun rise from our lanai. I really liked how the lobby, pool area, and restaurant were all open. It is an old hotel and the rooms do show it. The room is small but with the lanai it feels larger. They kept it fairly clean with the exception of Easter Sunday when the maid only made our bed and changed our towels but did not clean the bathroom. The walls are paper thin, but we only had people staying next door on one side a couple nights and luckily the were not late night Partiers. We could also hear the music from the pool area, but it was not loud and I found it relaxing. Down side the pool closes at 7:00 pm. For the price we paid I would stay there again but only if I could get the same view. Note: For $10.00 an hour they let us check out later, we checked out at 1:00 pm which let us enjoy the beach in the morning and come back and shower before our flight.

Can't ask for a better location for the money. The beach is across the road (and through the lobby of the Sheraton Mona Surfrider). Surf lessons, surf boards and other beach equipment available on the beach. If you like shopping you are in the middle of high-end stores and next door the the lower cost International Market Place. The hotel is old (built in 1955), but kept in good shape. We got a "standard room" at 129 a night and found it cramped with a view of the parking garage. We went down to the front desk to get a better room. For eah additional 20 / night you can upgrade one "level". We paid an extra 20 / night and got a room on the sixth floor overlooking the pool and courtyard. Larger room and nicer room furniture. Plus if you pay for a room upgrade you get free Internet, but in-room wireless Internet is only available in the big tower. If you are not in that tower you must use wireless in the lobby or one of the hotel-provided PCs also in the lobby. Please note that rooms near the pool will hear nightly entertainment from the hotel's entertainers while they perform near the pool. Food in the hotel is expensive - 23 for the lunch buffet by the pool and the dinner buffet will set you back 33. We had a great time and would stay here again. If you want to be in the heart of everything going on in Waikiki then this hotel is great.

It was a great hotel for the money. It is one block from the water. So it is a lot cheaper than the other waterfront hotels but not all the way on the other side of Waikiki. I definately suggest this hotel.

Iliked the location. It was too busy and way too loud. We were very disappointed by this Sheraton. The lobby was way too crowded and too much was going on. It was hard to get someone to wait on us. The room was okay. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was dirty. The worst part was the noise. They had something going on all the time. We were trying to watch a movie and the band that played all night at the pool drowned out our volume. We wanted a more peaceful stay than that. I would highly recommend someone look elsewhere for a hotel if you want a more relaxing trip. We prior stayed at the Aloha Surf and Spa and loved it. Only a few blocks further away from beach and close to market.

I stayed at this hotel along with my girlfriend "now fiance after this trip" and we had an amazing time. The room wasnt being cleaned as I felt it should, found a dirty towel one of the days and the beds werent being made all that well, but towels were readily available, and the beds were still maintained clean and comfy. Great spot a couple of feet from the beach, couple of feet from international market place, ABC stores "hahaha, then again, in this area there's an ABC store at every corner" I felt I couldnt have picked a better location for a first timer in Waikiki, strongly recommend it.

We have stayed at this property 4 times over the years but this is the first time we decided to return after several years of staying at other places. We had two rooms and they both had mold growing in the shower and the shower head would never pass a health inspection. The rooms just smelled. This property has go downhill. Not worth the money....

Although the thermometer indicated the room temperature was 65 degrees, it felt like 78 degrees. The room was a bit warm. On the positive side, the hotel representative upgraded my room to an ocean view, which I loved. The concierge staff was very helpful and the waitress at the restaurant very kind. However, the food was overpriced!!

Great location and friendly staff. The rooms were small and bedding was average. The hotel was overall good. It had a great location and only a short walk away from the beach. Parking is expensive at $20 a day, but comparable to all the others. The view was beautiful, but the room was small and the bedding was average.

Stayed 10 nights Mar 20-30, 2009 with our twins age 6 and were very happy with the hotel. Booked a high ocean view room and we were given a nice clean room on the 26th floor with a beautiful ocean view. Rooms are a little small with 2 beds but there is a nice size closet. Beds and pillows (4 per bed provided,) were very comfortable, nice sheets and updated down comfortors. There was also a newer 32" flat panel TV. Small refrig. to keep milk, snacks and water for the kids and coffee maker with coffee supplied daily for adults was great. Bath is small and a little out dated but the toiletries were nice (shampoo, cond., soap, lotion, shower gel, mouthwash). There was also blowdryer and iron/board in the room. Balcony/Lani is a nice size. We were able to see the nightly show and enjoy the music from the balcony. The lobby has 4 computers with free internet with a 15 minute time limit. There is also a laundry room for guest use in the basement $2 ea. to wash / dry with 4 washers & Dryers. We had no problems finding one open and it really came in handy to pack light. Pool was nice but not very kid friendly. Food was good but priced high...snacks at the pool were reasonable and good. The hotel has nightly entertainment out by the pool and other fun activities..hula lessons, pinapple tasting, lei making.... The beach access is a few steps away, the zoo and aquarium are within walking distance. The International Marketplace is next door and can be loud at night so try and request a room that does not face it. Shopping and food all near. Hint: Blazin Steaks has excellent $8 shrimp and steak plates-down the street.

Dirty old hotel rooms. What a disappointment!

The location of this hotel was terrific. Any of the tours we took all had pick up locations either at our hotel or a very close location. The staff service was excellent. The rooms were a little dated but always very clean. Upon arrival we got an upgaded room which was a nice surprise. This hotel was very kid friendly which made our vacation that much more relaxing. The only drawback was the highly priced daily buffet. Having a family of 5 made it impossible to eat there. No problem because there are many eateries nearby. I would definitely return to this hotel.

The location was amazing. Near the beach, restaurants, and attractions. Some parts of the hotel look old. Couches in the lobbywere dirty and worn out.
