We checked in late and left early in the morning. But like every Sheraton I have stayed in, the bed was the balm. It was the most relaxing sleep one can get at a hotel.

All the staff was very friendly. My brother was in the same hotel and I could not call him room to room. Very accommodating.

I found this hotel years ago. Every Thanksgiving I stay here because of a family reunion that is held nearby. In the past the hotel was perfectly adequate. But this time it was barely satisfactory. First, the place is beginning to have a run-down look. Not good for a hotel. What was truly disconcerting, however, was on the second day of my stay the room was not made up. At four o'clock in the afternoon I made this known at the front desk. They said they would have the room made up immediately, but by five o'clock nothing had happened. When I told the folks at the desk they said that housekeeping told them I had a "Do not Disturb" sign on my door. Well, that was true. But the sign was removed when I went out at noon. The man behind the desk insisted that the sign was there all day. Rather than have an argument about the matter, I simply walked away. In fairness I should mention that the man behind the desk offered to have somebody bring up some towels and replace the coffee. I declined the offer. On the plus side it was great to have free dsl/broadband. I'll probably stay again at this hotel; although, I'm not exactly thrilled with them.

Great location and nice room. Carpet had a spot on the floor. Great hotel, would stay here again next time I'm in town.

I booked a king bed, traditional room in advance. Showed up the day of my reservation, guess what, no king beds. Trainee asked if I would accept a room with 2 doubles. I said I would with a rate break. Trainee called clerk over, clerk said nope. I explained I had reserved a king size, she said I had not, that I had reserved a room! I showed her my reservation but to no avail. I got no rate break. She offered a voucher for a weak continental breakfast. Very rude clerks. They were also having issues with their key card machines which made check in a hassle. On top of this, they had the gym closed (with no advance notice on their web site,) and the auto check out feature on the TV was not functioning! This was not a good value. I would avoid this hotel at all costs. It's in a pretty indigent part of town as well.

The Sheraton Park South Hotel was pretty nice in the lobby but the rooms were not very clean. They tried to charge me $ 10.00 dollars for a roll away. When the roll away came, the hotel staff pushed it in the door and left, leaving it for us to set up at 10:30 pm. My wife was setting it up and found a huge hair ball in it. Needless to say we all slept in the king. In the morning I complained to the front desk and was given complementary breakfast, which was very good. All in all though it was not a great experience.

"We have stayed in many Sheratons',this one fell short of their reputation. Girl at front desk, did not know what a sweet sleeper bed was! Management was very impersonable! Carpeting, elevators filthy .Room was dingy, dog barking across hall. Pool was not heated as indicated, half of it is outside other half inside, It was 40 degrees outside! Hot tub was COLD, even 5yr old grandson complained of being cold. When turned on, frothy yellow foam surronded you."

Everywhere that I went in the hotel was impeccably clean. The front-desk women were unfriendly; the men were OK. This hotel is well-situated in a suburb west of Richmond. Every area of the hotel was very clean. The front-desk women were curt- as if dealing with me was a nuisance to them. The rooms are very clean with nice beds but the room was too small to spread out our bags as we are used to doing. They have at least four computers for guests to use and these worked well and with no negative surprises. The one day that we ate at the hotel, the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Elevators were too slow and gym was little small. Overall, the hotel was more than acceptable due to location, customer focused, well equipped and cleanliness.

Nice hotel, comfortable and clean. No major problems. This hotel was nice and comfortable. They were nice bath products and a view overlooking a small lake. Overall, it was a good stay!

When I got into my bed, the mattress was soaking wet. I stayed at this location one year ago, and was quite pleased. On this stay, I noticed that the cleanliness, upkeep of the hallways and rooms had declined significantly. The carpets were dirty, stained, the walls were marred and dingy. When I got into the bed in my room, I noticed that the sheet felt damp, and when I pulled back the fitted sheet, I noticed the mattress was soaking wet. I was quickly moved to another room, but not compensated in any way for my trouble. I would not likely stay at this Sheraton location again based on this experience.

Free high speed internet, comfortable bed. Plastic cups for drinking in room. Nice hotel, however, plastic cups in room is very tacky for a 3 star hotel. I expect glass, especially in a Sheraton.
