First time in Germany this hotel was very near the subway and convenient to shopping. Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful clean rooms with extras such as bathrobes. Nice restaurant with excellent food and extremely accommodating staff.

Very clean! Large rooms! Comfortable beds. Free internet. You had to change subway lines to get to the city center. There was not much around the hotel (i.e. restaurants) and breakfast at the hotel cost 21 EUR. I loved this hotel and would stay here again and recommend it to my family/friends. Although the location required a commute to the city center (change subway lines), the subway stop was right outside of the hotel door. The rooms were very clean and comfortable!

Wonderfully helpful staff. Excellent services (email, decent restaurant, very nice club floor snack/drink service with attentive staff). Restaurant staff seemed slow and inattentive. Very comfortable and pleasant room. Convenient, free internet access. Incredibly helpful staff. Close to underground and thus only about a 5 minute trip to central Munich tourist attractions. Nice restaurants-close to hotel. We would definitely stay there again!

Location was excellent. The dining facilities were not very robust and very pricy. Great location but I would suggest eating out of the hotel in the local market.

Staff and quality of the room. Availability of restaurants near the hotel. Wonderful hotel. Just make sure you eat before you get to the hotel; restaurant selections are limited.

Hotel was excellent. Hotel exceeded my expectations. I was worried that it wasn't right in the center of town but 5 minutes on the train and you are right at the front steps of the hotel. Its location is great and there are a couple very reasonable and good restaurants just out the front steps. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends.

Location, cleanliness, friendly staff, high quality furnishings. Absolutely nothing. The hotel literally sits on top of a subway station. You are three or four stops away from the center of town and yet you have the ambience of a nice neighborhood. Not only do you get a higher floor and nicer room, ours had a magnificent view of the Frauenkirche and the Alps in the distance, but you also get a full breakfast in the club restaurant. The club has full computer internet access, snacks, drinks, even champagne, croissants etc. What a delightful experience. I'd go back in a second.

The hotel is 23 steps from the underground station, allowing easy access throughout Munich, including train station. Despite low occupancy, I was made to pay extra for 2 beds. My main concern in Europe is proximity to a centrally located underground stop or train station. Access to anywhere in the Metro area is simple, fast and cheap. This hotel fits the bill to a tee. It was 23 steps from the stairs at the Hameranplatz U-stop, which was 3 stops from Odeonsplatz (City Center), and one exchange from Marienplatz, Munich's version of Times Square. Although the actual location of the hotel was not near any significant site/restaurant, the proximity of the Underground brought ALL of Munich almost to my doorstep. The staff was very American friendly, and English is well spoken by all the staff. They were incredulous when I asked "Sprechen Sie English?", as if to say "Why WOULDN'T I know that." All the staff was very patient and helpful to a first time visitor to Germany whose German is terrible. I would stay here again, without thinking, if the price were reasonable.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I have stayed at a Sheraton in the US and the one in Germany cannot compare. The beds and space of the room is not what I expected. Overall experience was not bad. I would recommend it to someone else wanting a decent hotel for a reasonable price.

Great location to the underground and public transportation. Beds were not as described (sweet sleeper). The lobby is modern and attractive. The staff spoke English and were quite helpful. The underground was literally right outside the front door which made it very easy to get around the city. The Grayline castle tour left right from this hotel so that was also a plus.

Friendly staff. Close to autobahn. Bathroom sub-standard. Remote from any shops or restaurants/bars. A bit far from Subway. Nothing special about this hotel.

Very convenient for Subway. Good bathroom. Room was a bit small. Excellent place to stay in Munich because proximity of Subway makes Downtown and elsewhere easily and cheaply accessible. Friendly, helpful staff, OK room.

Great staff, very friendly. Rooms very clean. Nothing for tourist nearby. Overall, this is a very good hotel. The rooms are nice and very clean; the hotel staff is very friendly. The only bad notes are that the most of the staff only speaks basic English. So anything other than the usual routine and you may be stuck if you don't speak German. There is nothing for tourists nearby, however there is a U bahn and S bahn station right in front of the hotel.

Very friendly staff. The entrance lacked a wow factor. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very helpful.

Although not in the heart of town, you can walk out the door and into the Ubahn Nothing negative stands out. In a quiet section of town, it nonetheless has a U-bahn entrance twenty feet from the front door, and Munich's public transportation system is without equal and very friendly to visitors.

Very convenient location for public transportation. Nothing to say. Very clean, good size room. Quiet hotel, friendly and helpful staff. We'll stay there again.

The staff was excellent. The restaurant was expensive (good food though). This hotel was excellent for our stay. We required parking and it was available. The room was excellent, staff very helpful to out of town clients. I would not hesitate to rec'd this hotel.
Date of Stay:
October, 2006
The linens in the room were perfect. The staff at the front desk spoke English well and were familiar with the more famous tourist destinations in Mun. No restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfast very expensive here. This is a business hotel. Clean, well appointed rooms. There was nothing in the area to walk to, i.e. restaurants, shops, parks, or anything else of tourist interest. U-bahn, S-bahn connections nearby.
Date of Stay:
August, 2006
Clean hotel and efficient staff. The location is not the best. A well kept hotel with an efficient staff made for a pleasant experience. Excellent for business travelers.
Date of Stay:

Easy train access, quick in and out. Rooms are showing a little wear but were still nice. Great staff, close to train. Perfect price if you are able to score a low rate online.
