Quiet with a good view and great comfortable beds. The hotel has an old elegance. The room was very large with good views of the river below. Very quiet and the bed had the best mattress!

The location was wonderful. The room was not as clean as it could have been. The bathroom looked like it was not even touched by housekeeping.

Location! Bathrooms were small for 3+ star hotel. No frig, one bottle.

The room decor is tasteful, cheerful. Also, the rates for parking and for internet use are a lot more reasonable than at the Marriott.

Easy parking, convenient to where we needed to be. Renovations not complete, some wall paper and rugs are tired. Would stay there again, for the price I paid. Easy access to Memorial Bridge, we were competing at a horse show at the Big E Fairgrounds and this location, made it very convenient.

Clean room with comfortable bed. No starbucks coffee. Great for business travel.

Very comfortable bed, quiet. Parking was $9.95 a night. This hotel is right off I-91, so it is convenient. It is a midtown hotel, with a paid parking lot where parking was $9.95/night and then you have to take two elevators to get to your floor. Internet is another $8.95. So those considerably dilute the Priceline bargain. The place is almost deserted; no bellboy if I had wanted one. It is in a business area of downtown, so not really family friendly.

Wish that the hotel provided free wireless.

The size and comfort of the room. Nothing. The hotel was very quiet and the accommodations were excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

Location. The room contained furniture and a television that had seen much better days. The public areas of the hotel were fine. The floor we stayed on was undergoing renovations and the room we were in appeared to be in desperate need of those renovations.

The outside of the hotel and lobby area were very nice, friendly staff. The room seemed old, kind of stale, and the heating/AC unit did not work properly. AC would be on, then heat again. Thermostat did not seem to work. The hotel itself was very nice. From the outside and lobby area it was beautiful, very classy looking. Even in the hallways. Our room was okay - it just seemed old and kind of stale. Beds were comfortable. The only problem we had was with the heating/AC unit. The thermostat always read 79 degrees. We would turn the air conditioning on, and it would work for a while, then heat up again, which made for hot and stuffy sleeping. There were directions on how to work the heating/AC, but they didn't work.

Nice hotel - very soft and nice pillows and good pool area. Excellent customer service at the front desk and housekeeping.

The hotel was close to the highway and in a solid location. There is absolutely no excuse for charging hotel guests to park. The fact that this hotel chooses to charge its over night guests to park at any price is just a major downer. We can overlook the fact that they are doing renovations on the property, however I am unable to overlook getting soaked for $10.00 to park when I am a registered guest of the hotel. Next time, given the choice between Sheraton and another property if all things are equal I am going with the other property just on this experience alone. I will not forget. That said, the hotel itself was nice and a decent bar.

Convenient to Western New England College. The Springfield Sheraton is a very clean hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated with very comfortable beds. We received excellent service in the restaurant at dinner time, the food was delicious, the waitress was very friendly. The hotel staff was also friendly & very helpful. Gave us great directions when we were leaving for our 6 hour drive home. We will be staying here again.

Size of room and friendliness. Painting. I would very much recommend this hotel for family and a single person. Great restaurants.

Going through renovations. Old hotel going through renovations. The walls are thin. Staff very good. All in all not that bad but closer to 2.5-3 stars.

Great location. Upscale hotel for short money. Hotel is under major renovation. Was not aware until we arrived. Hotel overall was very nice. Reason for lower scores was that the hotel is undergoing major renovation, and had scaffolding running to the roof, entirely overtaking the middle of the hotel. I was not made aware of any renovations until I stepped foot inside the hotel.

The location was in walking distance to the event I attended. The entire atrium was filled with scaffold and there was very little staff of any kind. Chairs in the room were thread bare, the hotel is tired and needs a refresh Maybe that's the plan because scaffolding filled the atrium from the first floor to the top floor. There were boards laying in the hallway by my room. They also must be short on staff because no one picked up the door tag for the next morning's breakfast. I called in the morning and did get breakfast however. The breakfast tray was still in the hallway the following day. I got the feeling the hotel was practically deserted.
