We got a good deal on the room which was nice. All we needed was a place to sleep while sightseeing in Washington DC. The staff was always helpful and curteous. Liked the fridge and microwave in the room. Pool is small but worked great for a quick dip and some sun.

I stayed here for 3 days while visiting Washington. I came to visit someone in the area, but I still wanted to see the city. This hotel is far from the city, at least a half an hour - 45 minutes on the metro, and their shuttle service stops at 9:30. After that you have to take a $20 cab ride to the hotel from the metro station. I found the information online misleading, and was not expecting having to pay so much in transportation costs. I also found the staff to be rude, as if they were disinterested in helping me and acted as if I were bothering them. The shuttle service to the airport was unavailable, which is $29, not $16, so I had to take a cab to the Reagan airport, which was $50. In addition I got attitude from the front desk of the hotel telling me that I should have planned my trip better. Other than the staff and the location, the hotel was really nice. It was clean and comfortable

My hotel stay was great. The entire hotel, the rooms and the other facilities were very clean. Various stores, fast food restaurants and the movies were are in walking distance from the hotel. The hotel staff were excellent. I did not bring my car, but the hotel does provide shuttle services. I suggest to any visitors to make sure they have their own transportation. Other than that, this hotel is a great place to stay.

Room is nice with 32" LCD TV. The bed is comfortable; bathroom is ok. No free internet. They charge ~10$ even if you want to connect your laptop in the lobby, which is quite unusual for a good hotel.

As a frequent traveler I expect some cooperation from the hotel staff. This hotel is misrepresenting its services by leaps and bounds. I was very disappointed with the service, cleanliness, dining, and most of all with the front desk personnel and shuttle service. Do not expect any service from this hotel. The shuttle requires a reservation in advance but you still may have to call a cab to go anywhere!!!! We called for the shuttle on several occasions and were told that it was not available when the driver and the van were right outside. Very poor staff and very poor service. I will never stay at a sheraton hotel anywhere again!!

We stayed at this location because of the great air fare/hotel pricing combination. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the Greenbelt Metro Station. You just book the time you want to go and be picked up and it was very easy. We did all the sightseeing by walking and using the Metro....very easy to do. The hotel was renovated about a year ago and it was extremely nice in the rooms with flat screen TV, hair dryers, Ironing board, including shampoo, conditioner, lotion and in room coffee pot. There was no coffee or condiments for it but I asked at the desk and was given a supply and then it was stocked the rest of the week. Stayed one week and slept well every single night. Thermostats in room kept temp pleasant and I didn't have to adjust it one time while there. Had plenty of hot water and was quick to heat up. The only downside I didn't care for was the $10/day charge for internet service if you wanted to use it in your room; otherwise they offered free computers in the lobby or you could plug into your own computer and use it for free in the lobby; no wireless connections. Additional drawback is no decent places to eat in this area except restaurant at the hotel. These two things keep it from being a 5 star hotel for me but are minor and I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel during a trip to the area to do research on relocation. My room was clean, updated, and nicely decorated. I ate at the Powder MIll Cafe and the food was great! I had the crab cake sandwich with a salad and it was really good- not "uninspired" as one reviewer wrote. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Only one problem, though. The entire hotel is non-smoking, but I could smell smoke in our room one night. Not too bad, and I don't think it was the hotel's fault. Sometimes people just can't follow rules. I would stay here again. :-)

I want to make it clear, I didn't stay here. I called first and found out that their picture of the hot tub in the room doesn't exist anymore. They have renovated and removed all hot tubs, but they haven't removed the picture!

Hotel was wonderful, friendly staff, very comfortable beds. Our visit was to DC, would have been better if it was walking distance to metro rail. They have a shuttle, but was inconvenient to have to use it, plus felt compelled to have all in our party go in and out of DC at same time, and only once daily. A site advertised this as walking distance. Would have been fine if we drove, but only used the metro rail as was suggested in all information about traveling in DC. Otherwise we were very happy with this hotel.

I was happy with the room I got for my deal. It was clean and the bed was big and comfortable. I found that you had to drive a bit away to find a good restaurant to eat and the onsite restaurant had decent food but a bit pricey. Overall, a great hotel to go to if you like peace and quiet.

I liked the overall design and cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was very honest and friendly. The food is good but a little expensive but it was worth it. The Sheraton is a really nice and clean hotel. The staff was friendly. The food was excellent. I felt safe and secure at this hotel because security is wonderful. So, my overall stay was great.
