While we were visiting DC, we stayed two nights at the hotel. While the hotel itself is located in a quiet area with free parking, it is a good 20 minutes from the nearest Metro Park and Ride. This made travel to and from the DC attractions difficult compared to staying somewhere closer to the Metro. Also, the only way to get to and from DC efficiently is to take the VA-267 toll road, which gets expensive quickly. The hotel itself is well-kept, clean, and very nice. The staff was helpful and friendly, but they appeared to be a bit understaffed. Unfortunately, the business center seemed to be too small for the number of guests there, as it was always busy, and there was no free internet in the rooms. Compared to a stay in Arlington during this same trip, this hotel was nice, but a little lacking. The staff seemed busy and preoccupied, though still helpful, the room service was a bit over-priced, and the room just didn't blow me away compared to others. The hotel is definitely a good value overall though. It met our expectations, but it didn't go above and beyond.

Free shuttle to the airport and an optional eating place close (walking distance) from the hotel.

Excellent hotel... Not 5 star, but ok just the same. Brought wife, kids, and family dog and stayed for around 100. If you were to book at hotel's website it would cost almost double. Room was clean, smoke/smell free. Bathroom was small, but you really don't spend much time there anyway, do you? Beds were comfortable, and the TV was a 42" flat screen HD, which made watching tv in the room nice. One downside is the lack of a convient store, or grocery nearby. Other then that, very pleasant, quiet stay. I would reccommend this hotel, and we will probably stay there again in February.

Close to Smithsonian and Memorials. Great location. Restaurant did not have a good selection of food and was very pricey. Meal for wedding was very good.

Great location and nice amenities. Internet usage was expensive. Staff was very friendly. Check-in/Check-out took less than 30 seconds. Room was great with a nice balcony view of the pool. New towels and linens each day.

stayed here because we were on a budget, I guess you get what you pay for. facilities were outdated and the rooms were not special, even cramped (especially the bathrooms). There is nothing to do, walking distance, of the hotel either.

Staff was efficient, friendly, helpful and hospitable. Hotel was clean and quiet, good for a relaxing weekend (not over booked like the others).

Airport parking and friendly staff. Shabby condition of our room. The room was shabbier than hotel category would suggest. Two lamps were repaired with scotch tape and bathroom appliances are showing some age. Outdoor pool was cold but nice but closed very early at 8:00.

Great place to stay for early morning flights or late arrivals out of/into Dulles. Great breakfast if your flight isn't too early - starts at 0600.

Convenient to Dulles Airport and convenience store.

This Sheraton was not the greatest hotel I've stayed at, and was definitely the most expensive. I've stayed at a lot nicer hotels/motels along the interstate in Oklahoma and Kansas. Also the building was being painted so I had painters on my balcony two of the days early in the morning. The staff never mentioned this when I checked in the 2 times I had to check in over the weekend. This hotel is about a $30 cab ride to the nearest Metro station and about a $50 cab ride to DC. I recommand taking a town car if the front desk has one available they are pretty much the same price as a cab and A LOT cleaner.

Convent to Dulles airport and Washington DC. Toll roads in this state are a pain.

It was ok. I hoped there was a refrigirator in the room.

Modern, comfortable and clean. Thin walls- room to room to hall noise. Great hotel, but ask for a room away from the elevators.

The hotel was very comfortable, rooms are large and very well furnished. The only draw back was that breakfast is not inculded. While this is fine for business travellers, families would appreciate a buffet breakfast included in the tab

The bottle of water and Starbucks coffee in room. Did not offer many channels, especially missing FOX cable news.

This is close to the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Great front desk service and very nice room. Very few things nearby. Food/Services etc. Very nice hotel sitting by itself. If you were driving, this isn't a problem, but, stuck without transport. Your only other food options are Chili's or Popeye's Chicken.

Location. Parking was inconvenient. Good access to major roads. Hotel has circular design with rooms on the inner circle facing pool. Parking was challenging if you return to the hotel late. Concur on upscale rating however it needs a bit of modern makeover.
