enjoy the entire stay.

Pretty hotel, free shuttle. Wanted to go out to dinner. Didn't want to spend $40 for taxi. Wished business room was open. Pleased with the shuttle from the airport. Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Would stay here again.

Good clean safe location for traveilling with children and venturing into NY. Restaurant and close amentities not very good but staff very helpful, close to NJ rail.

After hours at the computer comparing reviews and prices and crime indexes, we finally, reluctantly, decided on this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was immaculate. The bed was comfortable. The service was great and the pool was the cherry on top. The only thing negetive I would have to say is that it is too far from NYC. We went there specifically to visit the city and were aggrevated more than once with the means of getting into the city. We were on a budget and the taxi ride straight to NYC was 80.00. We took a cab to Penn station in Newark for 25.00 and then rode the Path train to the city for 1.75 a piece. Once in the city we used the subway which was very confusing. Nothing was worse than when we tried to go out and come back at 2 am. The Path train switches, it left us in a station with no exit to the street for 1 hr. CREEPY. and finally we got to the hotel at 3:30 am. We left the city at 12:00 midnight. Other than the distance from NY I would definately recommend this hotel...especially if you have the money for cab fare the entire way.

it was a great experience. the staff was amazing and I will stay at a Sheraton again b/c of this experience. The only problem for us was the difficulty in getting to the city with the public transportation systems and our limited knowledge.

Clean rooms, easy to find. They charge 18$/day parking fee which is not mentioned upfront. This is a rip off! No refrigerator in the room. Parking is extra. Guests were noisy at night.

For an airport hotel, this was one of the nicer places I have stayed. Conveniently located and full of amenities (be sure to bring your suit for the lovely indoor pool and spa), it was a great value for the price. The staff was helpful, the coffee good, and the rooms large, well appointed and very comfy beds with lots of fluffy pillows.

My boyfriend and I spent a beautiful week-end at this hotel. The reservation was under his name: David Lee Gainey, and we had stayed in Room 545. It was an awesome room, the service was excellent, and everything was perfect. At the time of check-in, I was not aware that he had made plans to just drive up and reserve the room....IT WAS A SURPRISE TO ME. I didn't have the heart to tell him that I am a Starwood Preferred Member, or I wasn't sure if I should give my member number at the reservation desk even though the reservation was under his name....Anyway, we are now planning on going back, and would love to have either Room 545 again, or another room on the same floor and right side of Room 545 where I can see planes either take-off or land.....We would like to also have a microwave in the room and a small table and chairs for 2 because there is a big space that could use something extra in it. But other than that, THE ROOM/HOTEL/EMPLOYEES/RESTAURANT/SPORTS BAR/etc. WAS PERFECT.

Hotel was booked for a number of events which meant all restaurants were closed for the duration of the stay. Staff seemed to be harried and not really the most helpful. Picture on the web site made it look like a modern Sheraton whereas it is probably out of the 80's or 90's and looked in need of a makeover.

I loved the over all layout of this hotel! My room was sweet! Over looking the pool! Well, there really was not anything I did not like. I fully enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I looked the look and openness of the hotel. Will stay here again next year!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton. It was extremely clean, well managed and welcoming. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to stay in New Jersey or who is looking for a reasonably priced four star hotel close to New York.

It was my first time in New York and I was pretty excited because we went there for the parade. The meals were alright and what i admired most was the kindness of the workers there. I left my phone on the 3rd floor and didnt notice it was missing until i was in my room. When I was calling it from a friend's phone i was able to reach the person who had my phone. I was so happy when he told me where it was. If he wanted to, he could've kept the phone. but returned it to me pretty fast. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, everything was well-maintanced and overall was an unforgettable experience.

The Sherton Newark Airport Hotel was the perfect location for flying in, getting a rental car and finding the hotel. It was easy as pie! The room was cozy and overlooking the indoor pool was a great bonus. In the dead of winter it gave us the feeling of being at the beach. We arrived on a Sunday and did not know that the Bistro (the hotel's restaurant) is only open for lunch on Sundays...so after a 12 hour flight we were hungry and a bit disappointed to have to eat in the bar. We chose this hotel for the indoor pool and Hot tub and were disappointed when the hot tub was having some issues. The staff wasn't too helpful when they were notified. Overall, it was a great experience and we only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed two. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've stayed in.

When we checked in the person at the desk didn't seem to know what he was doing. We callled the desk for 20 minutes before finally getting an answer. Our wake-up call never happened. I've stayed at this hotel many times in the past but will not stay there again. The bathroom was not well maintained - loose tile, etc.

It was nice and clean, but i wish it had a microwave and a refregrator.the employees were also very frendly. I had a room not a suite.

Close to the airport. Says renovated, but still needs many updates. Decent enough place for a NJ airport hotel. Not on the same level as a Paris Airport Sheraton though. Needs many updates still.

Hotel was poorly maintained. When it rains, the ceilings leak which has resulted in mold and smell everywhere. The rooms were damp and smelly. If you have allergies or asthma, you do not want to stay here. The banquets were poorly done. The service was the lowest I have ever experienced in any hotel ever. I would not recommend this hotel--which is unfortunate because Sheraton is a fairly reliable family of hotels...Not this one!

My mom and I decided to stay at the Sheraton Newark Airport Hotel because of the good rate and the fact that we were both flying out of the Newark Airport the next day. The Hotel is very clean overall and the staff was very friendly. Although we didn't bring a swim suit to enjoy the fitness and the swimming pool facilities. The room is larger than standard rooms in the Manhattan area. And the bedding is very comfortable (I think the comforter is down comforter with lots of soft pillows on top of the bed). We trully enjoyed the stay at the Sheraton Newark Airport Hotel.

Parking was convenient and close to the airport. The staff had no idea of anything of palnes, trains, buses or anything to NYC. They were a bit rude on the telephone and took too long to answer's.
