nice staff..convenient--beautiful views from upper floors.

The staff was extremely cheerful and helpful.

Location was excellent, front desk was ok (no one at the Starwood Preferred Desk when checking out at 7am), quality of room was nothing special. Excellent bed, carpet had just been cleaned and was still damp and room smelled musty. Tub had a leaky faucet. Room was on the 40th floor but disappointed no view of the river. No room service ordered. Room was cleaned nicely early in the day. Overall the quality of the room wasn't as nice as I expected for the price. On a 1 to 10 I would give it a 6.

Very clean and within walking distance to all major attractions. We went to Harrah's, French Quarter, Riverwalk, and Acqurium of America. So much to do, so little time!

Very beautiful and clean. No dislikes. The hotel was very aesthetic and comfortable. The staff was great. I love the idea of valet parking. It was in a great location central to all the attractions of the city.

This is a great hotel in a great location. The beds are extremely comfortable. The staff is wonderful. The only complaint that I had at all was that the room that we were in on this visit was pretty small. Not a lot of room between the TV and the end of the bed. This was the second time that we stayed here, and the room we had previously was not this small. But, overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Our experience was very good. The room size was excellent and the afvantages of the club level floor were well worth any price difference. The staff in the hotel was friendly and well informed about the area. The placement of the hotel is great for shopping and dining. I would very gladly stay there again.

Our visit to the New Oleans was for a sad occasion. We were there for funeral. While our stay at the Hotel was great. The location is accessible to the casino, french quarter, water walk, and other sites and activities.

Convenient to public transportation. Starbucks closes early.

The Sheraton on Canal St. was excellent. The room was big, and the bed comfortable. There is a light breakfast in the morning, and light snacks in the afternoon in the club room. There is also a coffee maker in the room with Starbucks coffee. I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone.

The check in was TOO long. Only had 2 people working the front desk check in. Had to wait 15 minutes to check in and we checked in to the hotel around noon so there should have been plenty of staff at the front desk.

Location close to most major attractions and business district. Excessive incidental charges. Internet charge and connection can use improvement; had better connection for free with budget hotels. The smoke-free room was questionable, smelled like heavy dose of chemical used to mask the smoke.

The hotel was nice and conveniently located. I ate at the Palace Restaurant across the street, which was delicious. The hotel room was nice and overlooked the Mississippi River- beautiful at night. The staff was very friendly and the bedding was was awesome. It has a Starbucks in it and their was a George Rodrigue (local artist of Blue Dog fame) theme in the lobby. The valet parking was reasonably priced for N.O. ($30.00) overnight and I could had gotten my car and returned it unlimited times during my stay for the same cost. I was very pleased and would stay again.

The Sheraton NO Hotel is in a good location, but I thought the quality of the hotel would be better considering it is a four star hotel and a brand chain. The bathroom could do with some upgrades. Everything else was okay. The hotel was very noisy as it was the Essence Music Festival weekend and the cost of food and drinks are very expensive at this hotel.

Great staff, very attentive. The hotel lobby is beautiful, great location, wonderful staff. Our only complaint was the elevator shaft was near our room and quite noisy at night. We didn't sleep much. Also, when trying to go down from the higher level floors there were sometimes waits as long as 12-15 minutes for the elevators to arrive. But for the location that could be overlooked for a night or two.

Short walk to the French Quarter but far enough away from the craziness of Bourbon Street for a family vacation. This hotel is in a great location on the trolley line which makes it easy to get to Tulane and the Garden District and is also an easy walk to many tourist attractions. The hotel was quiet and comfortable and we enjoyed staying on the club level which offered a continental breakfast and evening hor d'oevres. Staff is very friendly and accomodating -- concierge was very helpful in arranging a tour and with suggestions on entertainment and restaurants. Breakfast buffet in the 2nd floor restaurant was excellent. Only complaint was that the beds were not terribly comfortable.

Perfect location at a reasonable price. We had a great view of the Mississippi and easy access to the French Quarter. Streetcars right there to take you anywhere (if you're willing to wait). Rooms were on the smaller side and I could hear the 3:00AM call to chat & 5:00 wake up call in the next room. Still, they were clean and comfortable. Also, the pool was shut down for two days and, in 100 degree heat, that was disappointing.

Location. Remarkably uncomfortable bed. A nicely situated and decorated hotel in Downtown New Orleans. Check in and parking procedures are smoothly operated. The rooms are clean with nice views. However, the bed is significantly uncomfortable, negating most of the positive attributes.
