Dingy is the word for this disappointing hotel. The whole place is tired-looking and worn, with a dated 1980s feel to the shabby decor. The bedroom was dusty behind the armchair and the bedspread was lumpy. When I called the front desk to ask for a replacement bedspread I was informed that all the spreads are lumpy so there was no point in sending me another one. The bathroom had cracked tiles. The a/c unit didn't work well and was noisy. The restaurant is totally overpriced - give it a miss. I paid $25 for a breakfast that would have cost $10 anywhere else. The coffee was good though. The hotel accepts pets and a small dog in the room below mine was yapping all night, keeping me awake. I called down about this but apparently nothing was done to ask the dog owners to quiet their pet because it barked all night. The location is poor. They advertise as being convenient to Boston but that's a laugh. It cost me $75 plus tip in the taxi from the airport. You have to take an expensive taxi to the subway and then ride underground in a hot, bumpy car for 30 minutes to get into the heart of the city. I wouldn't stay here again if they offered me a free night.

Used hotel only as a place to sleep. Bed and room were comfortable and quiet; HVAC was easy to control and responsive;no coffee was available for coffee maker (had to call to get some delivered). Staff was friendly and accomodating.

It was clean and convenient. The bathroom needed updating and the room looked like it was missing a bed. Decorated with a male traveler in mind. Furnishings are adequate. Bathroom needs updating. Convenient location.

The parking is away from the hotel. You have to walk up a hill to get to the hotel from the parking lot and you pay $ a day for the parking which is not secure parking. While the hotel states that the Metro Station is three miles away and offers free shuttle service up to five miles, the shuttle will take a minimum of 20 minutes to reach the metro. You must sign up in advance to use the shuttle and the shuttles stops running at 3pm on Friday and during the weekend. Therefore don't count on using the shuttle to get to the Metro. The breakfast buffet is $ for mediocre food, so you are better off going away from the hotel to eat. The check-in staff were business-like and not consumer friendly.. The entire hotel is nonsmoking, although when we got to our room the toilet was filled with cigarette butts. The staff accommodated our desire to change rooms. The cable tv was not working all evening due to a thunderstorm. The hotel offered free movie channel, although that was also not working either. The pool was warm and clean and the exercise room was nice. It will take approximately 30 minutes to Copley Square from the hotel. Our family will stay elsewhere next visit

For two teenagers and myself, we thought the place was great. We used the fitness room and the pool every day. The pool is indoors, which my teenagers would have preferred outside. Very Clean. They loved the beds. We were about 20 minutes from everything. 8 a night charge for parking seemed a little high especially since there was lots of parking available and no one watched the cars.

The room's bathroom was very small at it enclosed the sink, toilet and tub. There were no mirrors in the main part of the room. So I could not get ready while my husband was in the shower. I was really surprised that a hotel of this expensive would be set up this way. I will check next time and not stay if this is the case.

Clean, comfortable, private and enough luxury to make it pleasant. I did not like eating dinner in a sports bar. I would like a nice restaurant. Good for business travel. Not exceptionally luxurious but pleasant, clean, comfortable and convenient. Food was good but not great. Would have liked a nicer restaurant for dinner than a sports bar.

my comments refer only to our weekend stay. the trotters restaurant has very good food but menu is limited. service was excellent. the all you can eat sunday buffet was costly but excellent also. room heating unit was quite noisy.

When I return to the room at 9:00 PM, I noticed that coffee machine was not cleaned and there were no coffee and cups for next morning. When I told the front desk, her response was that that is house keeping department problem.

My children liked the pool . The movie selection was nice. While my children were in the indoor pool the hotel employees opened the doors to the outside . It was barely 40 degrees outside. They advertised queen. The room we rented had two queen sized beds and a pull out bed couch. When we got there we were told they didn't have any rooms like that. Only full size beds. The Jacuzzi was broken, an the employees opened the doors to the outside while my children were swimming in the pool. It was barely 40 degrees outside. We had a departing present to come home with, colds that lasted a week. We were told there was a free continental breakfast, we went where we were told and paid $60.00 for a cold nasty breakfast (the bill we signed said $40). I was not happy at all. My children hated it.

The beds are great, the service, needs inprovement. The desk attendants didn't have much knowledge about their own city, or where to go for simple things. Get all the maps you need before you go, cuz they give you wrong directions!

The Needham Sheraton was very comfortable. The room was spacious enough for us, the fitness area well maintained and the staff friendly. It was conveniently close to the Boston College campus - we drove to the school using surface streets with very little traffic ( a big change from the Los Angeles traffic that we are used to!). We will be staying there again for subsequent visits to see our daughter.

Courtyard area for smoking Jacuzzi and pool. Eatery staff were unfriendly and seemed stressed out. Good location. Not a 3 star hotel. Would only use again for location purposes.

Parking fees are uncalled for considering the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere and there is plenty of spaces. It is a turn off.Staff at the reception desk is quite unfriendly though diligente and helpful.Night shifts personel do not want to bother: I had to wash out the toilet after having it overflowing to sanitize it because the cleaning lady refuse to do it at midnight. She told me IT WAS TOO LATE FOR CLEANING She did not even give me sanitizing products I had my 2 daughters with meBathrooms need better upkeep.food expensiveOverall,I will not come back

The Sheraton Needham Hotel was comfortable enough, but is not ideally situated. It is located on a steep hill, and a car is required to go anywhere. There is really nothing much close to the hotel, except for a Ground Round Restaurant. It was further from Boston than we thought, so next time we would book a hotel closer to the city.

Great service and staff. I was outraged by the fact I had to pay for parking and for this reason will not stay there again. Other than the parking issue the hotel was excellent.

generally it is good, but i have to pay $8.00 per night for car parking, is this popular in America? the room i resided is a little bit noisy, sounds from some equipment outside. especially at night.

Nice room size. Small bathroom. We thought the food in the lounge was on the expensive side.

I chose this hotel because I had heard it was animal friendly. It truly was accomodating to both humans and pets. I was very satisified with my stay. I was pleasantly surprised at the way they maintainted the hotel. It was very clean. I had one complaint about the bed. The mattress was sagging. It was like sleeping in a crater. The hotel promptly appologized, and gave me a credit off of my bill. They were great!

The bed was comfortable. Sheets were beautiful. Got an ADA room and don't enjoy all the special features. It was a very good hotel, but charged $8 for parking. Unusual for a hotel in the suburbs.
