The Sheraton is kinda of located in a weird area (tip top of Rt. 17N), but it's a clean and comfortable stay. My husband and I stay here when visiting family in towns just north of the hotel (closet one to them) and really feel good when we're there. The restuarant is a bit pricey, but the food is very good. Half of the hotel is filled with offices, so all of the rooms get a nice high view. Has a very corporate/wedding feel.

We travel to Suffern once a year for a trade show at RCC. Tried some of the other area hotels in the past, but since we discovered the Sheraton Mahwah, this is where we stay exclusively. Far better than anything else in the area, worth the few extra miles to RCC. The grounds are incredible, the building is impressive, and has glass elevators with a view. Rooms are great. Only one major gripe- wireless internet is $12/day! Should be free at these room rates. Otherwise would be 5 stars.

"We were put in a handicap room. We requested concierge, but were just ignored. Hotel was very empty (as was confirmed by staff). We were afforded no comforts."

The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The restaurant had a nice assortment of entrees however the shrimp cocktail was over cooked.

Elegance of the foyer. I would definitely like to bring my husband for a weekend. It was awesome. Sorry I was there only 1 night. I would loved to have stayed longer.

Convenient highway access and very good atmosphere. Restaurant for breakfast and room service was pretty bad. Good value for the money with easy access to highways but not right on the highway. Clean, efficient rooms, quiet atmosphere, very nice pool. Better to eat off site.

Friendly staff and relatively large rooms. Decor seems a bit dated and shopworn. Very nice hotel overall, but the common areas could use a bit of freshening. The junior suites are particularly spacious and comfortable. Easy access to Manhattan.

Location convenience. Air and heat did not work. bed very uncomfortable. Pillows were awful. Great location. Needs better beds and pillows and linens and for things to work properly.

The staff was very nice. Room was comfortable & clean. Hotel was having renovations and I noticed alot of wear. We had a very nice stay. Our room was upgraded after the first noisy night. Hotel staff was wonderfully accommodating.

The pool and spa area were very enjoyable. Walls werenot very sound proof - could hear the people next to us talking at 2:30AM. This hotel was very nice, but seems to cater more to business travelers. The only restaurant was pricey. Missed having a refrigerator in the room.

It was clean and well located. Staff was helpful. I found the hotel to be noisy due to the fact that they held many social affairs there. The hotel was conveniently located and well kept, however I found it to be quite noisy in the hallways leading to the rooms. During the time we were at the hotel, there were several parties in the evening. Guests from those parties staying at the hotel were quite loud and intoxicated when returning to their rooms, sometimes as late as 2:30 a.m. This caused quite a disturbance to other guests on the same floor.

Lobby. The rooms were small not attractive. From the outside this place is very impressive but the rooms were horrible. The standard room was as big as a closet. The walls were this horrible greenish color. TV old and tiny.

I liked the overall atmosphere. No complimentary internet. I was pleased with the hotel, location and free parking. Not happy with having to pay for internet.
