My mom and I went for the weekend for the first birthday party of a close friend's son. It was perfectly nice for a weekend stay. The room was overall fine except for a slightly leaky toilet and a couple hard-to-find light switches. The beds were a little hard. The breakfast buffet in the morning was not very good. Overall, though, a nice hotel at a great price. I would stay there again.

Being from Madison, I've driven by this hotel many times but this is the first time that I have stayed in it. It has been recently renovated and the club floor has secure access with a lounge that serves breakfast and hor'd'ourves. The bed is fairly comfy, room is quiet, so I had a good night sleep. Staff are very helpful.

Hotel staff from front desk, to van driver were exceptional. Very curteous and knowledgable about the area. Bent over backwards to help us with every request and need.....VERY highly recommended.

Appreciate shuttle service to restaurants downtown. It is an excellent location. Close to downtown but not downtown. Like pathway near hotel for biking and walking.

The room was surprisingly well-appointed for the price.Spotless room, very comfortable bed and the front desk staff were extremely courteous.

They did give us a free breakfast. They used the excuse prepaid to cover poor customer service. I expect towels in the room, working electrical, and no long hair on the furniture. This was the first time I have not left a tip for staff. While they did give us a free breakfast, they used the excuse that we had prepaid for the hotel room. Apparently prepaid equates with give 'em the gate in terms of rooms. The sad part is, some rooms we've been in have led us to book at full price again (the Downtown Milwaukee Hilton comes to mind) because we fell in love with the place. Not happening here.

The beds were extremely comfortable. The hallways were not clean, but everything else in the hotel was. Attractive facilities, large comfortable rooms, great views.

Lobby was very nice. Hallways and rooms were poorly kept for a Sheraton. We were impressed with the lobby when we walked in the door. The hallways were fairly non descriptor and had little pieces of trash lying on the floor. Our room was okay, but there was quite a bit of hair stuck to the desk chair and around the room from a previous guest.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. It is not downtown. Not at all. I have never visited Madison before.I purchased this hotel because it was supposedly Downtown. It was 3 miles away. I was extremely disappointed in the location. It is pretty much a flat out lie.

The complimentary shuttle that dropped you off and picked you up downtown. It would have been nice to have a full size coffee maker in the room. Decent. Obviously an older hotel with a recent makeover to update it. Decent amenities. Decent location. Not as nice as other hotels I have stayed at in that area.

Location was great for a down town Madison wedding. The room was clean and nice. The food service stopped at 11pm on a weekend. We were attending a wedding in the downtown area of Madison and this location was easy to get to and about 2 miles from the wedding which was on State St on campus. It was clean and comfortable.

Convenient location. Dinner took a long time to get service, although they did apologize and had already served 80 people and short staffed as well. Excellent location, clean and friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel to others.

The free computer usage: we were able to find places to visit and map a different route home. Trouble with the door lock cards becoming unusable and the staff not figuring out what was wrong.
