It was a good overall experiance

Rooms are pretty clean and tidy, but bathroom is kind of small. Rooms are close to parking and air condition in the room are both noisy.

This Sheraton is in a beautiful setting and the grounds are kept up perfectly. Although it is one of the "older" hotels in the area, it has a very comfortable feel to it and is not "corporate" or stuffy. Our room was clean and quiet and the housekeeping service took care of our room with special touches that we did not ask for. Guest services were great in helping us find several places we wanted to visit. We used the free internet/computer access in the lobby. The pool and koi ponds were relaxing and we soaked in the whirlpool/spa each night of our stay. We ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant one morning that would be rated good, but kind of pricey. We would definately stay there again.

Great beds and the pull out couch was fairly comfrontable. Staff is very accommodating. Anything we asked for was brought immediately. Pool and hot tub were soooooo nice. Beautiful landscaping. Very close to everything without feeling your in the middle of town. Will stay there again when we return to La Jolla. Could use some type of fan in the excercise room for those of us not use to the humidity. Enjoyed the microwave, coffee pot and lighted magnifiing mirror. Great touches. Overall a very pleasent stay.

The hotel is a two story hotel, in La jolla. There are decent restaurants within a not-too-long cab ride distance.

Excellent location. The air conditioning was noisy and was on all night. The room was very nice but the air-conditioning was on all the time. There was a hidden $10.00 parking fee. The location was close to major thoroughfares.

While this hotel is perfectly fine, it lacks the attention and care it gave when it was a Radisson. We had a power outage one night, and they didn't even give us an explanation. Flooding in the hallway, non-operating elevator, fee for business center, all of these add up to an average experience. I have stayed here many times, this may be my last. They put us in the furthest room they could find, with all the families with children, while the better wing was unoccupied for the week. These are much smaller rooms, and although I am a preferred member of their club, I saved so much online that I didn't use my direct reservation discount. They also neglected to provide my bill on my final day, something they guarantee to do.

What a lovely, comfortable room! The beds were the best I've ever slept on! Great having a large flat-screen tv, microwave, and coffee maker. I especially liked the lighted make-up mirror in the bathroom! We looked at similarly-priced hotels in the area, but the amenities and quality of this hotel far exceeded them. Beautiful grounds, too, with plantation shutters looking out on. Couldn't be happier.

the hotel was lively yet very comfortable and the rooms were clean and provided all we needed for our stay.

Beautiful hotel landscaping, close to UC San Diego and easy freeway access. We were able to walk our bikes 1/2 block to bike overpass and path to UCSD. We liked everything, great restaurant, lush grounds, terrific restaurant, very friendly staff. We loved our stay here. The hotel rooms are attractive, comfortable and very clean. The outdoor pool, spa is situated in very lush and lovely grounds lots of palm trees. Even though it has easy access to the freeway, it is very quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean. If you are headed to UC San Diego for a campus visit, this is the place to stay. We brought our bikes, walked them to the pedestrian overpass 1 block away, and biked to the campus. We were able to see a lot of the campus without any parking issues! We look forward to staying here again.

We just got back from our anniversary trip to California, and we are so glad we chose Sheraton La Jolla. The hotel and gardens were beautifully maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful - overall we were very pleased. The location is great as well. Just jump on Interstate 5 and you can get to any of the sightseeing points of interest in minutes. It was the perfect choice, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet convenient to everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is great-it is not your typical high rise hotel and felt like you are in a resort. Every meal in the restaurant was very good.

1. At check-in we did not get the room type we had wanted. The orbitz site lists a series of codes to select the room type, but no description, so it was impossible to tell whether we were selecting 2 queen beds, or one king, etc. I called orbitz and the agent said she could not tell either but would submit our room type request to the hotel. This did not happen. So, the issue is really with the way orbitz lists the room options, not with the hotel-- maybe you will have better luck than we did when you make your reservation... 2. We were there for Memorial Day weekend; the hotel was sold out and housekeeping didn't get done until well into the afternoon, and one day they forgot to leave any clean towels-- I suspect they were just overwhelmed, but they delivered towels in less than 2 minutes after I called. 3. Rooms have a refrigerator (not a mini-bar) and microwave which many guests would appreciate. The beds are very comfy with nice linens. Flat screen tv's and wifi, nice wooden shutters on the windows. 4. In our ground floor room, we could hear plumbing noises from above, and a fair bit of voices in the corridors.

We took our two boys (3 and 6) to Sea World and chose this hotel for a 3 night stay. The hotel is very nice, lush grounds, clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great and convinient to the freeway. It is within walking distance to Rock Bottom and a Mexican Restaurant. Up the hill is a grocery store and coffee shop, a bit of a longer walk but still close. Not that close to downtown cove village or the beach. The only caution I will give is the rooms are too small for a family of four. I would encourage you to get a suite if you are traveling with chlidren.

I stayed at this hotel for almost two weeks. The staff is warm and friendly. I certainly appreciate all of their help with directions and questions I had about attractions nearby. The beds are very comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again.

I arrived only to find out that their was a confusion about my booking 1 king size bed and got 2 queens. The hotel pics shows walking distance down to beach and it is not close at all, it's about 4-5 miles away. There are not many options in restaurants near hotel. The view out of the windows in the hotel were terrible!

I most enjoyed the decor of the room. I love shutters. The bathroom counters and tub were spacious. The AC would not adjust. But San Diego weather is lovely so I left the windows open. The Sheraton La Jolla is an excellent choice for business travelers. A well-lit desk with a comfortable business chair provides a convenient workspace. The rooms contain an empty refrigerator which is handy for storing small food items. (There is no annoying hotel bar with exorbitantly priced items.) The bathroom is well-appointed with gracious counter space, sufficient lighting and a pull-out shaving/make-up mirror that lights up. Heavenly beds!

This Shearaton is close to everywhere -- UCSD, La Jolla Village Square, University Town Centre. Seaworld is a five minutes drive. UCSD is a walking distance. La Jolla Village Square is in its backyard. AC is very quiet unlike other hotels or motels. Though we stayed only one night, it gave us a great impression.
