There were many things to do within walking distance of the hotel and the view was spectacular. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. The pool was small for a hotel this size, but it was clean and well-kept.

The view of the Niagara falls was spectacular. Thecheck-in staff was not very helpful. The staff was very distant. Checking-in was seen as an opportunity to perform an up-sell rather than mentioning what the hotel has to offer. No mention of the hotel restaurant or breakfast policy was done. I was surprised to find that there was no folder explaining what was available at the hotel. The gym was in the basement and appeared to be a collection of machines just thrown together. Things are in place to have a great hotel, but the staff needs a stern lecture.

I checked in early and luckily they were able to give us our room. That was a good start but it went downhill from there. The man at the desk,Carlos, told me I had to pay for my room in full, which was absolutely fine. What he did not mention was that they had already charged my card the amount in full! They charged me twice!!! It was not until I checked my bank account while there that I noticed they charged my card as well. I spoke to a supervisor and was told they would give me the refund, but let me add not apologetic and certainly not accomadating whatsoever. I was very agry and told him, if I hadn't check I never would have known. This hotel also charges for EVERYTHING..internet,bottled water in the room, and no continental breakfast. For the money we spent, we expected more..at least some decent service!!

My family and I really liked the hotel. The problem was that they charge 20.00 per night for parking. Even if you did not park in their lot, you would still be charged. If you gamble, it is a fairly long walk (10-15 minutes) to the Fallsview Casino, so I would stay at either the Hilton or the Fallsview Hotel. Both are attached to the casino. The casino charges 5.00 (10.00 on Saturday) for parking, so if these other hotels use the casino garage, you could save money. The incline railway is about two blocks away and is a great way to get to the falls. The accomodations at the hotel were excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. We had a city view, so I can't comment on rooms with a falls view. It not for the parking and the walking distance, I would consider staying here again.

Experience was great except for the two fire alarms at approx. 11:15pm and 4:15am. Walking down down stairs and waiting for the alarm to be fixed the first time was just aggravating. Having the same alarm fail again 5 hours later and the failure or inability of the staff to turn it off while they worked on the problem did not make sense.

Nice hotel with friendly staff, however the elevators (especially down) were terrible -- we had to wait a long time and it stopped at nearly every floor. Also, the pool was okay but nothing spectacular and they charge $20 for parking. I probably would try another hotel rather than come to this one again, especially if the rooms with a view of the Falls were more cheaper and it had FREE parking. I gave it a 4 rating because it was very clean and we got a great deal on Orbitz.

Pretty lobby. Far from falls, they charge $25 a night for parking, not fair. Was really shocked how far this hotel was from the falls, you need to take a special elevator which you must pay 2 dollars each way for! not easy to go back and forth to room. Totally shocked by parking charge..should have been disclosed beforehand. Overall expected more for the price. My room did not overlook the falls, it overlooked the parking lot and it was totally overpriced.

Just returned from an unpleasant 2-day stay at the hotel. Water pressure and temperature in the sink and shower fluctuated unpredictably, going from full flow or warm to a trickle or scalding with no warning. They charged $8.95/day for internet access, which was irritating, but the connection was intermittent and pathetically slow, which was unconscionable. TV reception was terrible. Avoid this one.

This was my first visit to Niagara Falls. The room was on the 30th floor and was right across from the "horseshoe" of the Falls. The view was amazing. What a sight to wake up to...about the best view from a hotel room I have ever experienced...and I have stayed at some beautiful places before! I could not be happier with my experience. On top of that, the Staff were so friendly and helpful, all of them!! Even when I had a problem with an item of work I had to handle (even though this was a vacation) they assisted me, above and beyond the call of duty. When I return to Niagara Falls, and I will, this is where I will be staying. This was absolutely an awesome hotel.

There was a beautiful view of the Falls (both the American and Canadian). It was a bit of a longer walk to the Casino than we had anticipated. The room was clean and comfortable, the beds were great. We didn't really use the common areas, nor did we eat at the restaurants but we may do so next time.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past year (average of once per month) and have always found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and helpful, so I was surprised to read some of the comments here. We have never had less than wonderful service at the front desk, ?A Cut Above? restaurant, concierge desk or anywhere else. Also a note regarding the pool: I was taken aback by the comments regarding the chlorine in the pool here, as this hotel does not use chlorine in its pool, they use bromine/bromide. I am allergic to chlorine, and this pool is the only one I?ve found in the Falls that I can use. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the inclusion of the coffee makers and small refrigerators in the rooms are a great added touch. The fitness facility is limited in weight equipment, but then I doubt many guests spend much time working out while on vacation.

I discussed this with asst. mgr. Josh who seemed to brush aside oue bad experience. When we checked in, we asked hoiw far the casino is. The answer was a block away. The actual distance we did'nt mind. However after our 4th night, we saw a Sheraton shuttle van. We asked the bellman and he said it's a a day per room service to the casino. XYZ said the front desk may have presumed we came in our own car. I don't think this is a right statement. A good service employee should have informed us wbout the shuttle..or could have asked us and not to presumed things. Your pool water during our entire stay was cloudy. The young, female attendant said she applied chlorine to the pool and the level is around 8! I am a health inspector and the water should have been checked by someone who like a maintenance poolman. I was just for public safety which also is your best interest. XYZ said our local inspector also checked and approved the pool safety. I told him, that is fine, however, the inspector is not there everyday. So happened I was there to see that the water was milky meaning with lots of organic contaminants. XYZ thought I was trying to ridicule your system. Well, I hope this will go to a much concerned person. The falls is indeed a beauty!!!

The Sheraton Fallsview has an amazing location on the Canadian side of the falls. Rooms facing the falls have a gorgeous overlook of the falls, and the giant rainbows created by the mist on sunny days. The rooms and bathrooms were immaculate, the beds and pillows were so comfortable, large LCD television, a great overall presentation. The staff is very friendly, the cleaning men even helped us when our key wasn't cooperating with us, and the front desk and tour desk were very informative. There aren't too many complaints to be made. I was disappointed in a charge for parking and internet access. The only other improvement that I could see would be the addition of sliding doors on the parking side entrance. Very cumbersome to open a door and drag a suitcase through. The hotel is withing walking distance of Fallsview Casino, many restaurants, and the incline which takes you down to the park at the falls. Do not drive to the falls and pay for parking. Walk and take the incline down. I have stayed in hotels all over North America and this is the highest quality facility I have ever stayed in. You are treating yourself and your companion by selecting this hotel for your stay in Niagara Falls.

I first discovered the Sheraton Fallsview a few years ago. Since then it has been my first choice whenever staying in the Niagara Falls area. The views of the Horseshoe Falls are truly the best -- you can even enjoy it while having dinner or breakfast. The service is great -- never had any complaints. The rooms are excellent and the sweet sleeper beds so very comfy. On this trip I did something different -- I booked my trip through Orbitz and got a super deal. We even got a dining coupon for booking through Orbitz. That was a bonus. The hotel is within walking distance to the Casino and there's also easy access to the Falls -- just park your car at the hotel.

My family & I stayed at the Sheraton Fallsview for 5 days. The view was awesome but the service was unacceptable. The front desk personnel constantly look away when you are approaching the desk (didn't want to assist the guest) and the seating policy at "A Cut Above" was ridiculous. This fallsview restaurant only seat 2 person and 5 person tables closest to the fallsview window. If you have a family of 3 or eating alone, you will not be permitted to sit near the window ... even when tables are open!!! This restaurant is definitely not a cut above, it is certainly below par! Niagara Falls is great experience, just find a hotel where they value the customers, especially when you are dropping $1K bucks.

Four of us (including 2 kids) stayed at the hotel. First off, the view was awesome. From our room on the 20th floor, we had outstanding views of the horseshoe falls. If you are considering the other Sheraton, you will have the view of the American falls, which is less spectacular. Being vegetarians we didn't want to bother, but were pleasantly surprised to have some good vegetarian choices. Some other folks that I spoke with called the steaks outstanding. The food is expensive, though. We also got coupons for the executive breakfast, but that is nothing great. Given the food prices at sit down restaurants, I will take that gladly. This is a bit far from the incline railway (about 10 minute walk) and probably 30 minutes walk to Clifton Hill. The staff was helpful and efficient. A couple of things that I wasn't crazy about -- the door is not well insulated. So, if you loud people in the corridor, you can hear it clearly. As we were checking in, the cleaning staff was still finishing up the room. They were quite nice, but was taken aback when I entered the room to find them inside. Overall, good place. I would recommend this.
