The room and the hotel was far above my expectation, especially for the price. From the parking lot you had to go down to 1st floor then to another elevator to go up to your room. No direct access to the floor.

my husband and I love this hotel. the location is great, the xtra charge for the lake view is worth it! beautiful view of the harbor, and the rooms are so clean and nice. the beds are very comfortable, and service is great. probably one of the nicest and cleanest hotels we've stayed at and my husband is from hawaii and we've stayed at some pretty nice ones. who cares if you don't have a continental breakfast, if that's what your after you should stay at a lower end hotel. I've worked in the hotel business and you are paying for quality, and this sheraton has it, in it's customer service and it's rooms. my family will be back! ...also we love the eliptical machines with the individual tv's and the complimentary starbucks coffee!!

Nice accommodations. Appreciated the shuttle to Canal Park. Very nice.

Overall the room was clean and in a good central location to walk around Downtown/Canal Park or get in the car and take the scenic route up north. I was surprised that for newer hotel the sound from the hall was very loud. Every time someone would come into their room, the door would slam shut - and I could "feel" it when it slammed. I could hear conversations in the hall like my door was wide open, tolerable in the morning, not so nice in the middle of the night. There was a one cup "pod"coffee maker in the room with two paper cups and three packs of ground coffee. What? No filters? No pods to brew a cup? It felt like a tease. The bathroom really needs more hooks and it would have been nice to have the french doors close completely - but in order to do so I had to use my hip and both hands to open. Easier to leave it open...

I dont care what anybody says, for what we paid for the room, was great. We got the room for 59.00. Cant beat that for being close to everything!! Movies, shopping, beaches, eating out, nightlife. True your not on the lake but, you can see it for way less then the other hotels who charge an arm and a leg... but the draw back is you pay 20 dollars more for the lake view.. worth it?? you be the judge..the beds were very comfortable, the flat screen t.v. was awesome. the room on the inside was nicely decorated. Wireless was a drawback, 4.95 would be charge to your credit card. we are staying there over the 4th of july and are really looking forward to our stay..

Rooms were beautiful, the temperature was controlled by myself or husband. It had an odor like mold, outside our room. Enjoyed it. Nice view from window of Lake Superior.

Booked into this new Sheraton hotel on an un-named web travel spot for a great price. However when I checked in I was told I could only stay in the back side of the hotel unless a paid a 20 per night upcharge. When I extended my stay an extra night, rather than allowing me to remain in my 20 extra per night lakeside room as a courtesy, they reassigned me to a room overlooking the parking ramp. When I asked, the hotel was nowhere near capacity. It can't be cost-effective to move guests from room-to-room just to save this 20. There are no amenities such as continental breakfast and no free wi-fi. I had to pay 8.95 for in-room wi-fi to check my email for 3 days. Although they did have liters of bottled water in the room for 3 a piece! Even though I was on my company's expense account, I just felt they nickel and dime you to death. Any hospitality or extra amenities one receives must be tied to the rate you pay for the room and who you book it through. Now I really know what it's like to be treated like a 2nd class citizen!

Spacious room with extraordinarily comfortable beds. Walking through lobby from room to swimming pool. Excellent rooms with caring and friendly staff! I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Duluth.

Had to find a hotel close to St Mary's Hospital for the family (mom going in for surgery) - dad left with 2 young kids for a multiple night stay. Surgery was at the beginning of January, so having the skywalks for back and forth travel were a big plus (not having to get the kids bundled up to get into a cold car and then deal with parking at hospital, etc). Yes, it's a 15-20 minute walk from the Sheraton, but still worth it.Staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't use the restaurant downstairs (because of the age of our kids), but looked nice and inviting. Room was clean & adequate (traditional room) on 5th floor. Would have preferred a chest of drawers in the room (as opposed to just a place for hanging clothes) for all the kid stuff (clothes, toys, etc). I would have to agree with a previous post about the air blowing (sometimes it felt cold, sometimes hot...but blowing right over the bed at night it seemed). Bathroom was spacious, a few more hooks to hang things would have been helpful(there was only one hook). Small pool was perfect for our 2 kids and dad to spend some time together. Beds were comfortable.Unloaded in front of hotel (as previous post had mentioned too) when we got there and parked the car (never moving it again until we left). Oh, and husband now wants to buy a new flat panel TV ;o)Great Place for the money!

Beautifully decorated rooms and common areas. Long walk and two elevator rides from parking to room. Lovely centrally located hotel. Convenient to Duluth's tourist attractions and downtown businesses.

Nice bright and large rooms, great bathrooms and nice towels. Liked everything Everything was fine.

Bed was luxuriously appointed: high quality matress, sheets and pillows. We could not get the thermostat to adjust - it was stuck between 72 and 74. I have never had a good night sleep the first night away from home before, but the bed was so comfortable, I slept through the night and awoke refreshed. The bathroom was a beautiful feature, classical styling with a modern twist. A bowl of fresh apples in the lobby was a nice touch.

The front desk was fantastic. The parking ramp is confusing to find, better signage would help. Also the view of the parking ramp wasn't very appealing but it was fine for the price.
