The food at buffet was substandard. The french toast and potatoes were cold and dry.

Location is great. No free WIFI and 1980's television. Staff extremely helpful and hotel quite clean. Location of the hotel is awesome if you have anything going on in the downtown LA area. For the price, and star rating, internet access should be free and the television should be something other than a 36" box from the 1980's. Parking is $20 daily (I had no problem with that) and everything you could need is within walking distance.

Having been a long time Starwood Rewards member we have stayed at many fine Sheraton, Westin, and W Hotels . The Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown did not come close to meeting our expectations. We expect a Sheraton Hotel to have a very helpful and cooperative staff, a very comfortable bed, updated furnishings, soft and fluffy towels, bath robes, and a TV that works. The Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown provided none of that. The front counter staff was rude and uncooperative, the bed was not very comfortable, and the towels were thin and rough as sand paper. The TV was ancient and the remote did not work. Overall this was a very bad experience. We will not be staying here again.

Highly recommended. I enjoyed this hotel very much!

Clean, contemprary rooms. Nice toiletry line. High parking charge! $30 valet or $28 self park. A nice hotel right in LA downtown. Clean rooms with nice ammenities. Great smelling soaps, lotion, and shampoo.

Initially when I checked in, the one person behind the front desk was not very friendly. Almost very cold like and not welcoming at all. But I have to say, that was the only negative thing I had to say about the Sheraton and their staff. Rooms were clean, well stocked, staff was friendly and accommodating. I rented two rooms and although they were not able to join the rooms together, they had them right across from each other, which was very convenient. The lobby was clean and well kept. Very inviting. Location was also very convenient. Close to neighboring areas, and connected to the shopping center, which had easy access to the atm machine as well. We used the valet parking several time a day, and the staff was very friendly and never once gave an attitude by the number of times my family and I were coming and going form the hotel. Unfortunately, this hotel did not have a swimming pool, which my kids would have really enjoyed.

I stayed to be closer to work for a night and the night was wonderful. Service was friendly and efficient in getting me into the room. The bed and linens were exquisite and the bathroom felt luxurious. They have very lovely towels. The Sheraton provided a very comforting stay close to the business hub of LA.

Great downtown location and close to everything. Some homeless around the area. The Sheraton is a very nice hotel, located in the heart of Los Angeles and very close to many attractions.

It was a very nice hotel w/ great service. The bar and cafe were pretty pricey but very nice. The only bad thing was they charge for their WiFi service...who does that anymore?

The Sheraton was very comfortable. I enjoyed going shopping at Macy after the business meeting, except that they closed too early (7:30pm daily). The Hotel staff was nice and friendly.

Pasta bar. Slow elevators.

Why did they have to put us next to the elevator? I did not sleep for 3 nights because of the constant noise. Also, I brough my own shampoo, and the maids took it. Plus, they did not have gratus WiFi which seems to be free everywhere else. Next time I book with a online company I will not negotiate a hotel stay. I do better on my own, and can have a raport with the staff that way. They seem to resent guests who use your service.

I usually stay at Sheraton whenever I am on the road. I would rate this Sheraton a 3 out of 5. I like the location (located in the heart of downtown). Close to the freeways. The rooms are somewhat clean and comfortable. Parking was a problem. Valet parking was $24 a day and the parking at the mall was $22 a day. Didn?t like the fact that there was NO elevator to the Valet Parking area (It was harder to get to and from the vehicle with a baby and stroller). It didn't help when the escalator that leads to the Valet Parking was not working either!!! Pros 1. Confortable and Clean Rooms 2. Great Customer Service 3. Great Location Cons 1. No Adequate Parking available 2. Valet Parking price was steep ($24 per day) 3. Regular Parking at the mall ($22 per day) 4. There was no elevator to the Valet Parking (It was hard to take the escalator when you have a baby and a stroller)

Near excellent restaurants, near LA public library and very central. Decent & comfortable.

Room was clean, and beds were comfortable. Felt safe in area of hotel. Nice to have lots of pillows. Did get room service and the pizzas were very good, but of course pricey. Paying for Internet service was disappointing considering this day and age with Wi-Fi everywhere. Liked that it was close to public Metro Rail transportation, Macy's plaza is nice, but not open very late. Smoothy shop was only place to get food late. Hertz rental was very nice providing upgraded car for same price, and convenient. Hotel needs to upgrade it's carpets on the floors.

The hotel in general was good. Didn't like the fact that there was no shuttle service to LAX. This is done using an outside service.

Friendly staff, convenient location. Small older TV, no coin-op laundry. Room hot at night. We enjoyed staying here. The location is across from the metro station and walking distance to downtown stores and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is connected to Macy's shopping mall which is very convenient. The room was hot at night even though we had air conditioning. Our room was very quiet and in good condition.

This hotel is a reconstruction from an old shell with all of the irritants; i.e. bad air conditioning, small rooms, noisy elevators and lousy food with a pedestrian wine selection. The service trys to compensate.

Location is fine. We went for an outdoor concert close to music city hall. Walking was fine and felt safe. Received very good recommendations for eating dinner down the street from front desk person. Room was very clean but the A/C did not seem to work well. Room was a bit warm. Nice design in the lobby. For the money it was a good stay. We parked on the street for free - we arrived on Sat. night and left Sunday so it was not a problem to find parking on the street. We felt safe walking at night between 10 pm and midnight - I was accompanied by my male friend. Close to IHOP and they serve a very delicious, inexpensive breakfast. Made up for the nice, expensive dinner at Mccormicks? (next to Starbucks on Wilshire).

I liked that they had fresh fruit in the lobby everyday. I think that for a 3 star it should have been in better condition. The hotel is alright. I tend to stay in really nice hotels (Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton) so it's hard to impress me. However, I had a quick meeting in LA and ended up staying here. The beds were awful and the room to me seemed like a motel. I for sure will not be staying her again.
