My family and I just stayed for one night - Father's Day weekend. We liked the indoor/outdoor pool and were pleased that TGIF Friday's restaurant was on-site. However, the pool was very loud and crowded and Sunday there were no towels availbale for hotel guests. I was told on Sunday morning that they only had a limited amount of towels and they were reserved for gym/pool members. I was not pleased about that. The woman working the pool/gym desk told me these towels were for members who pay to use the gym/pool. I was also a paying customer and was not happy to be denied towels it was unacceptable.

The bed was comfortable and good linens. Older hotel furniture is tired. Not a bad place to stay but not a 3 star hotel, traffic can be a problem if they have an event breaking at the hotel or if the movie theater breaks thats close by. $18.00 breakfast buffet is way overpriced

This property is overall well maintained. My room was on the 4th floor at the very end of the corridor, a long way to walk from the elevators but very quiet. The hallway from the elevator to my room was messy all four days I stayed, from the carpeting to the many room service trays outside of the rooms along with the maids carts. This was the case when I left each morning as well as when I returned at night. However, my room was extremely clean and odorless (which is so important for me when I travel). The maid on my floor was very attentive and did a great job! I would definitely stay at The Sheraton Braintree again when I am in Boston. I would hope they could clean up the apperance of the hallways as this does make an impression on guests.

We will probably stay here again at some point because of the location to family. However, we will avoid weekends. It is always loud until 3 or 4 am. For the third time they put us around college groups or weddings. If you ask to change rooms they are "sold out" and it does no good to complain. I can't understand why they don't keep the groups together and put individuals away from the noise. Other than that it is a clean hotel in a good location. Pool is small and loud but, hot tub is nice. Only dining for breakfast and room service.

Great space, comfy and just what was needed! With Fridays next door, and the Cheesecake Factory across the street, movies up the hill, or right in the room - i was set when it was time to chow or relax.

The fact that it was very easy to get to. For a Sheraton it was very unappealing. I would only consider this hotel for an easy location and decent services. We did have some prolonged waits for the shuttle service and did not understand why an upscale hotel would only run the shuttles every hour on the hour to the T,I think 30 minutes would be more practical. Rooms were very old and not updated and when wallpaper is pealing off that is very poor indeed.

The hotel lobby is nicely decorated. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant food was good and the staff was friendly. The workout area was nice. The pool area was nice. We liked that they had an indoor and an outdoor pool. The only drawback was our room itself. It seemed kind of shabby- it needed updating; it seemed older and in need of upkeep. Also, we were never given enough towels. We had to ask each day for more. And the elevator en route to our room was small and there was only one elevator.

Found the hotel to be convenient for shopping and touring with the Beantown Trolly stopping at the door, on the way to The Cape and other nearby attractions. The beds were very uncomfortable. Desk staff was cordial, professional and accomodating. Breakfasts were excellent and the buffet a convenience. Experienced one very rude bartender and one excellent bartender. Bar was very rudimentary.

Location, friendly employees. Hotel needs upgrades and needs to be cleaned better. Hallways needed to be vacuumed, rooms need to be upgraded. Chain lock on door broken, stains on rugs and couch.

"The hotel staff was friendly, helpful. Bed clean, comfortable. Decor pleasant. Actual building could use some repair/paint job outside. A nice stay/affordable. 2 swimming pools!"

We had a great stay at the Sheraton. We had a mishap at the beginning. The clerk sent us to our room and we found that is was not completely ready. The pillows, coffee, shampoos & soap, etc were not in place. The Supervisor of this dept was embarassed and corrected the situation immediately. A fresh fruit tray was sent to our room & that was very nice. Everyone of the staff was very kind. All the drivers of the hotel shuttle was very nice. Our last day, we went site seeing & deep into town. We lost track of time & was late getting back to the hotel, not figuring in Boston's rush hour traffic. We just knew we were going to miss our flight. The hotel driver advised us of the bus that takes you straight to the airport would be the best way to travel. We had 5 minutes to get to the bus, he got us there quickly & safely. We did not miss bus and also got to the airport with enough time to drink a latte. I highly recommend the Sheraton @ Braintree.

Convenient location. Dirty room. Old furniture. This hotel is long overdue for an update. Our room was dirty. The vents in the bathroom were coated with 2 inches of dirt and dust. There was not enough padding on the mattress, so that the springs were seen and felt on your back. The bathroom was in dire need of painting. Peeling paint in the ceiling and the back of the bathroom door. The hotel Manager should spend a night in the room to get the full effect.
