The hotel was located in a great place where you could easily catch public transport. This would have to be it's number one draw. Besides that, the hotel was nothing fancy. It is your average hotel that caters to business travelers. The rooms were nothing spectacular, but I was on the 17th floor and had a nice view of the city. I had some problems with the plumbing, but it was easily fixed with a call. They offer free Wi-fi on the first floor, but there is a daily rate if you want to use the internet in your room. There is a Starbucks in the hotel which was nice, but the Prudential building is adjacent to the Sheraton so anything you may need is a short distance from your room. Most staff were very helpful, but I did have problems with one concerige staff. It was later in the evening and she may have been waiting for her shift to end... either way, she was rude and abrupt. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay. I would stay at the Sheraton Hotel Boston again when visiting Boston.

The Sheraton Boston Hotel was very comfortable and modern. The bed was very plush, and the linens were very clean. They had a great Starbucks coffee maker in the room, along with great books and maps about the city of Boston. The room had a GORGEOUS view of the harbour! The bathroom was also very clean, and the little travel shampoos and lotions were actually mandarin and orange smelling in a very hip and modern packaging; they even give you a free bath sponge! The towels were very clean as well. The one thing I didn't like was the shower, because there was almost no water pressure. There was no mini refridgerator either, which we couldn't save our left-overs from our dinner. The wall had a very weird upside-down L-shape light-up green leaf wall hanging, which I still don't know what it was! It lit up, but you could turn it off at night. The television was a big flat screen, so that was cool too. The room itself was very tiny, so just about 2 people could fit in there comfortably. We wanted to go use the pool around 9:00, but it was closed which I thought was unusal (usually the pools stay open 24 hours at the other hotels I've stayed at). The gift shop was also extremely expensive; $8.00 for a Boston magnet! But all in all, it was very clean and comfortable; I felt very safe!

Location was great - about a ten minute walk from Fen way, and connected to the Prudential Center. Room service was quick and had a good menu with some healthy alternatives (better than typical). The room was smaller than we would have liked - tight for two people with one medium and two small suitcases. Also, the bathroom was not what would be expected at this level of a hotel - more in line with a Red Roof Inn. The fitness center was top -rate with fairly new Life Fitness equipment (aerobics and weights).

We snagged a "limited time offer" rate for our Executive king on the 28th floor. Fast elevators, friendly and helpful staff, immaculate room, wonderful view. As some have mentioned, the bathroom was "small" but it's bigger than the one we have at home and since we are normal sized persons, we had no problem navigating it. Note: the restaurant is pricey (coffee $?), but there is a Starbucks adjacent and an Au Bon Pain in the attached mall. Several good restaurants in the area (the Summer Shack is one of our favorites) and easy access to the "T" and walking distance to Newbury St. and Fenway. The pool and fitness centers were clean and enjoyable. I enjoyed the complimentary Internet Terminals in the lobby (10), the free USA Today and WSJ. We will definitely stay here again.

Sheraton Boston was super convenient for Red Sox games - easy walking distance to the park. The restaurants and bars in the area were very good and reasonably priced. We walked the neeighborhood and found convenience staores for snacks and drinks to bring back to our room. We arrived from NY City. The Back Bay station was in walking distance to the hotel. All in all - a great experience. I'd definitely return to Sheraton Boston on my next trip.

Fantastic location, short walk through the adjacent shopping center to the T! Only significant complaint was with the fitness center and pool. It comes at an additional fee as it is a seperate entity from the hotel. Kids only allowed in a small area of the pool and attendants misrepresented the policy about kids in hot tub and sauna. We had to ask for our money back after the very well behaved kids were asked to leave the hot tub...of course the unsupervised young teenagers were not asked to leave while making a lot of noise...policy seems rather arbitrarily enforced. Good place to work out with equipment. Take the T to get around Boston, you don't need a car and parking at the hotel is pricey. Get a multi-use pass on the T.

The room was not clean enough and did not have the amenities I have found in 4 star hotels. The lobby and restaurant were nice, but the desk staff was busy with convention attendees and I could never get a hold of anyone for information. Also, we were initially not given the room type I had requested.

While not a bad hotel, there were two major issues 1. The walls and doors were extremely thin. We could hear the people going to the bathroom and flushing the toilet in the next room; we could here every opening and closing of door and people walking around in the hallway. 2. The valet parking was a nightmare. When we would arrive, 3 out of the 5 times there was no one there to take our car. Two of the times I waited, went to their booth, wandered around, and eventually dumped my keys off with the front desk. When we would leave, they would quote 5 to 10 minutes to get the car but it was ALWAYS 20 minutes or more. The front desk explained it is another service, not Sheraton, that provides the valet parking but that is invisible to guests and it is awful, AND expensive ($41 a night). Poor value.

When we checked in, we told them we were on our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a mini-suite. We had an amazing view (North Tower) and everything was perfect. It was in the greatest central location. Being attached to the mall was awesome for quick food, shopping, and easy access to transportation... we didn't even have to go outside for the subway! Plus the hotel was in an awesome location in relation to shops, restaurants, and the city itself. If I ever make it back to Boston, I'll definitely stay here!

Barking dogs in rooms, dents in the ceiling (throwing something at a barking dog??) mildew in the bathroom, no complimentary coffee or WI-Fi in rooms...just not what I expected from the Sheraton. Other locations I have stayed at have been far cleaner and quieter.

The Sheraton Hotel Boston has a beautiful lobby, but the beauty ends there. The rooms are small - which I expected since it is in Boston - but they are in disrepair. We walked in to find the wall corner protectors fallen on the floor. The bathroom had mold between the tile and the paint on the ceiling was peeling off. The wallpaper was also peeling off. The carpets in the halls and the rooms were badly stained. This is hotel has an upscale mystique, but delivers room quality consistent with road-side motels. Also, everything in the hotel is extra - the exercise room, the refrigerator, the parking , and the shuttle to the airport - fortunately we chose to simply ride the subway so we did not need to worry about parking. On the upside, the entire staff is friendly, prompt, and extremely helpful. The hotel is located/attached to the Prudential building and mall which is also a stop on the subway (green line), so we did not even have to brave the weather - which was cold - to catch it. In the Prudential building, there are many amenities - sight seeing tours, Enterprise car rental, and it is attached to a full service market with an excellent Wine selection. The hotel is in an excellent section of town and my wife and I felt extremely safe wandering the streets at night - like Newbury street which is only 2-3 blocks away filled with shops and restaurants/pubs. We were on the 25th floor with an excellent view of the Charles River across from MIT where we were able to watch rowers every morning on the water. Overall, I would stay again, but I am a little disappointed with the room condition. Other review report the sameabout this hotel.
