very unhelpful front desk when i called to change the name on the reservation. was told that i would have to call orbitz to do that !! had to talk to a supervisor who was able to do that. front desk folks need to be trained better !! not very sensitive to my simple request ! also, sad parking situation that you have to use a city parking lot ! or meters !

The hotel was very nice and the bay view was awesome. Very clean. The food prices were high. 10.00 for 4 pancakes. We only had breakfast. We had a great experience at this hotel. Would go back again!

I stayed at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront for my high school reunion in August of 2008, and it is clearly the nicest hotel in the Erie area. My room overlooked the bay with a great view of sail boats and the Peninsula off in the distance. The location was great, at the foot of State Street near the city dock, and adjasent to the new Convention Center. The meeting room we used for the reunion gathering overlooks a marina, and was well appointed. The food served (buffet style) was above average, as was the staff. They have an active bar in the lobby, and a new bar has opened and is attached to the parking deck. Was nice to be able to walk to the bars and restaurants in the area, and Hammond hospital is just a stones throw away. Only nits were 1) no fan in bathroom, 2) pay for parking, 3) must leave the hotel and walk outside to get into parking deck. Last nit is not a problem in the summer, but will be a chilly trek when Erie's famous winter blows into town. All in all, it was well worth the price, especially with the discounted rate I obtained on the web by paying in advance. Highly recommend this hotel, and the Ravine Flyer II roller coaster at Waldemier Park. If Erie is your destination, you cannot go wrong at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel!

We stayed here one night and wish we could have stayed longer. They hotel is fairly new. It has a nautical deco throughout. The staff was great. The only thing I wish the room had was a fridge After we spent the prior two nights at a Sheraton FourPoint and had a fridge we missed it. The hotel is right on Lake Erie. We had a drink out on the patio of the hotels restaurant overlooking the lake. And watched the sunset! The hotel is connected to the Erie Convention Center. There is a bar/pub next door which was very busy and had a band that we were able to listen too while eating on the patio at the hotel. To get there take RT 90 to State St exit stay on State St and head north till you come to lake. The hotel will be on the left. Oh the only bad thing they pre-charged us to park and issued this ticket to us to show the person at the pay booth when we left as proof we had already paid for our parking however there was no one there to collect a parking fee or show our proof that we paid. There was not even a pay booth! I think it was a scam it you ask me!!!

Very comfortable and modern. Comfortable bed! You have to pay for parking at all times. $10 overnight parking. It is a very nice hotel and is right on the bay, yet downtown Erie is 1 minute away. The only thing I didn't like was the parking. Anywhere you park it cost $1/hour and they have a parking garage at the same rate or $10 for overnight parking. Can't complain too much tho because the hotel was sweet!

Close to things to do, like shopping, gambling etc. The only thing we didn't like was paying for parking at the hotel.

Attractive rooms. Need to insure you get two queen beds (only those rooms have tubs, others have shower only). Hotel was clean and staff friendly/helpful.

The Sheraton Hotel was very nice. The rooms were clean and spacious. If at all possible, get a room overlooking the marina. The view was beautiful. It was very calming to sit and look out of the large picture window. Would definately stay again!

This hotel is located on the water. My room looked out onto the marina, filled with sailboats. It was a peaceful and lovely view. The room was equipped with adequate storage space, a refrigerator, and was spacious. My bed was very confortable. The plasma TV mounted on the wall was a nice surprise. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels and a generous supply of toiletries. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Sheraton hotel in Erie, PA is great! The hotel is brand new. It is right on the waters' edge. The staff was so nice, friendly and helpful if you needed something. We had such a comfortable nights' sleep that we didn't want to leave. The hotel is beautiful. They have an outside patio outside where you can have dinner and enjoy the view of the bay. Our room had a hairdryer, iron/ironing board, which is great for a motorcycle trip. Out room faced the bay, so it made you feel like you were at the ocean. The only thing that we would have liked was a mini-frige and a continental breakfast. And if you eat at the hotel, the prices for room-service and the restautant are a little pricey for what you get, in our opinion.
