The room was clean and comfy, and quiet despite the fact that there is a casino in the lobby.

Cheap. Foodin all restaurants. If you like staying in a rough part of town and in a rough neighborhood, this is the hotel for you. Would not recommend or stay in this hotel again.

Enjoyed the Hotel, it was everything it needed to be. We were there with an approaching Hurricane and the staff, especially the front desk and the Shuttle/Parking Attendents were excellent. Convenient to Downtown and Casino as well as short ride to LSU with a convenient shuttle service. The only negative would have been the outside manager (gentlemen over the bag and shuttle attendents), he DEFINITELY forgot who the paying customers were and treated his staff poorly. If I managed the Hotel, I think I would re-assign him to someplace less visible, like washing dishes.

My worst hotel experience yet- At 7 a.m. in the morning a torrent of water flooded our hotel sink which was caused by an inoperable drain. The troubling thing was that the maintenance person said this happened before and apparently was not fixed. I would not stay in a Sheraton hotel property ever again!!!

I just like the hotelI been staying for years. Too many kids in the pool adults could not enjoy the pool. The hotel is very nice and my husband always stay at this hotel, I love the hotel.

Thank gooodness we all had a great sense of humor from the stains on the carpet ,walls, sheets and pillows. The slippery shower. The spiders. The staff's bad attitude. And the huge wet dirty spot in the hallway that kept re-appearing every morning. Will never stay there again. Neighborhood was not the greatest either. Hookers on the elevator. Thank goodness for great company to keep you laughing.

Very nice hotel and the staff is friendly, courteous and respectful.

we checked in hoping to get a room with two queens; what we did not know was that there was a convention in town of what seemed like a million teenagers and the hotel was completely full; not the fault of the hotel but the staff was not sympathetic and seemed a bit surly; i think we should have been warned about this because the noise and running down the halls was not conducive to sleeping; had to get some earplugs and take advil pm; as for the hotel itself, the lobby is a huge atrium with very litter shade from the sun; as you can imagine, it is very hot most of the day in said atrium; our room was on the third floor; when we stepped off the elevator the smell was awful; like mothballs; the carpet and walls were saturated with it; when we entered our room the smell of cigarette smoke was overpowering, in spite of the non smoking status of the room and floor; another trip to the store for room freshener; when are hotels going to start fining people for smoking in non smoking rooms; yuk; unfortunaltely, there were no other rooms; in this hotel or any other hotel in town; believe me we tried; in fairness to the hotel, the night manager did give me a free breakfast buffet for the next morning, but overall the staff was unfriendly and unsympathetic; i would not stay here again; this is just not a very nice hotel and the staff at teh front desk did not make you feel welcome and were downright rude at some times, with the exception of the manager, whose name escapes me (the maids and other staff were very friendly) i would steer clear of this place

That is the qualityI have seen with same amenities, there should have at least been a fridge.

I wish I could review the room itself, but we never made it there because even though we had a confirmed reservation, that was paid in full in advance, and late checkin guaranteed, we arrived at 1 in the morning with our tired kids only to find out that they overbooked the hotel and did not have the type of room we FULLY PAID FOR. They said (with an attitude) that the best they could do was give us some blankets for our kids to sleep on the floor. Horrible horrible horrible customer service, would not recommend!

The look and feel of the place was excellent. It did not have soap or a well supported shower curtain. The only problems were ones that seem to be the maids fault.

ok so its a 3 star. keep that in mind. even though it is downtown it is NOT a 4 star hotel. the parking sucks (once again doesnt it always downtown?) the food was nice, the hotel was nice. the atrium restaurant was quaint and quiet. the cleaning staff was a little slow. but the 99% of the rest of the staff was sooooo nice. you couldnt walk by anyone without getting a "hello" or "how are you?" if you go use the valet service. like i said the parking sucks. and the valets were wonderful, some of them were there from 6am till midnight and they smiled and said hello and gave us advice on restaurants. on checkout one shook my hand and told me to have a nice drive back and a merry christmas. i dunno to me the people seemed great and that is a nice change of pace. warning, once again on DOWNTOWN hotels, dont stay on the first floor , the trucks during rush hour will really wake you up if you are not used to it.

Due to proximity to the casino, this hotel was good. Hotel entrance difficult to locate. Parking access via room key did not work thereby forcing utilization of valet.

It is definitely one of the nicer hotels in Baton Rouge. Despite the marketing of the hotel, it isn't quite as flashy and fancy as billed. The hotel is nice, but I don't think it is quite a four-star. I would stay here again, especially considering how nice it is next to its competition. I would stay here again, but my expectations would be tempered.

Lobby was pleasant. Room was barely acceptable. The room and restaurant were barely acceptable and lacking ambiance. I would not care to return there. The casino atmosphere was disappointing at best. There was no beauty salon--important during our holiday travels.

I liked the staff downstairs. Low floor near street was kind of loud in the a.m. I really liked my stay here. The rooms were nice. Very comparable with a 3 star hotel. Location Downtown was walking distance to some interesting historical sites and connected to a casino. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and the atmosphere in the huge atrium was nice. What stood out most to me were the employees. Everyone went out of their way to say hello! And have a nice day! If you stay there use the valet's the parking kind of s and nobody works harder than those guys. In my 3 day stay there were a few valets that were working 16 hour days and they were still the nicest as can be. Upon checkout one of the guys came up and shook my hand and told me to have a nice trip and a merry Christmas. I don't know to me the people made the trip nice. The fresh fruit in the fitness center was a nice touch I feel too.

Location. Very unorganized; redoing restaurant with limited selections. Mediocre hotel adjacent to casino in Baton Rouge. Restaurant quality seems to be the downfall of Sheraton properties.

Friendly staff. Treadmills need to be replaced. Every thing was excellent except for the fitness room. The treadmills need to be replaced!

The valet parking was great. The employees were great. Food was terrible, the business center very poor and service sub par. Awful from top to bottom. The food was worst - overpriced and poor tasting. I could not operate my laptop to print out documents for a meeting because 1) the wireless did not work. 2) They did not have a cord to connect. The business center has 1 computer with a poor internet connection. I will never stay there again.

The bed. No cash accepted! It was not in than area good for business and new establishments such as college drive. Parking is difficult. Most hotels charge over the amount room regular rate but I guess they are usually educated somewhat! Then they told me I had to charge my credit card because they could not take cash for my amentias and all. What if I did not have funds on my credit card?
