Very nice hotel, parking is convenient but long walk to room elevators. First night I was in a second room away from main elevators on the 3rd floor. Annoying noises. My colleage was on another floor in a room next to the elevator: very bad. We both moved rooms for the second night. I would stay there again, just be forewarned about the elevator rooms!

Good price, convenient location. Older, not well kept. The hotel was at one time very nice, but has got older. Some renovations have been made, including plasma televisions. But much needs to be done. The doors are badly scratched, carpets worn, and our bathroom door would not close. We got a good deal on Priceline and would stay again at the same hotel at the same price. However, the rating should not be 3.5 stars. More accurate would be 2.5 to 3 stars.

I would NEVER stay here again. The rooms were really shabby with yellowed aged bedsheets and bedskirts. Also, the tolet paper had already been used when we checked in. The worst part was the restaurant. We had a party of about 10 and it took 30 min just to get our drinks. Then about another 30-40 min after getting our drinks they started bringing the food out. I never got mine. After asking about my food ( and everyone else had already started eating) they came out and told me they didnt have mine. I ordered something else. It was atleast another 30 min before my food came out, by that time everyone else was finished. They never even apologized. I swear I will never stay at another Sheraton again.

I was in Charleston for business/pleasure. This hotel had a wonderful indoor outdoor pool. It is centrally located between Summerville and Charleston and approx 1/2 hour to shore points. The service was great and the rooms clean, (however the maid did forget about us once, and they were a little short on the room towels) otherwise a great location.

On a business trip to SC, it would have been nice if the hotel would tell you right away the services available. Amerisuite is really far better than this hotel. The moment you checked-in, they will inform the guest all the services including free internet, breakfast, pool, and more. They will give you a sense of caring. Sheraton needs to improve on this.

Hotel smelled fresh and clean, very nice inside. Great value for the price. Area isn't great but the location itself is great - right off the highway and only 5-7 miles from downtown, and easy ride and convenient.

This hotel was great. It was clean and comfortable. The kids had a great time in the indoor pool. The outdoor pool was not heated. The staff was great. My son left his nitendo ds in the room. Housekeeping found it and the hotel manager mailed it to us the next day. Great staff. Very friendly. We will stay here again!

we looked at lots of hotels for our stay. we searched for 3 days before deciding to go with this hotel. when we arrived we noticed that the pictures were not an accurate view of the appearance of the hotel and when we saw our room we were very disappointed. when we checked in there was another guest at the counter with an oily wrench in her hand...we should have taken our cues from her. also the staff treated us like we were interrupting their work day whenever we asked for assistance from checking in to checking out. i expected better accomidations at motel 6. and on top of that our toilet did not work. and when i asked for another room they sent up someone to try to look at it when i told the clerk that we were getting dressed and preparing to go out for the day. we were moved to another room thank goodness! the only people who were even friendly were the housekeeping ladies and the bartender downstairs. the rooms were drasticlly overpriced and the service was horrible. we will not return nor recomend this hotel to anyone we even dislike.

Stayed with the hotel on business. I asked for late checkout, approved prior to arrival, and when I went to confirm, I was informed that I could not have it. The hotel smelled funny. My hallway smelled like cat urine. Found a "bug" in my sink and by the food where our conference was held. The service was terrible. Although the people were nice and apologetic when things went wrong, everything was late. I waited 3 hours for soup and a half of sandwich. Our first day of the conference, the breakfast was late. To ask for a taxi was a bureaucratic nightmare. I expected better from the chain...very disappointed.

This hotel is in an older part of town. There is nothing close to it. The pool needed cleaned. The gift shop was empty. Maintenance had to be called 2x to fix our air conditioning. Nothing was close by. I wouldn't stay here again. It wasn't worth the money.

"Yes, the hotel was clean and the lobby is nice, but my non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes and the heater made a terrible racket. The food in the restaurant left much to be desired and the wait staff seemed to be in a bad mood."

The desk clerk was the nicest person! He was helpful, patient and very accommodating. Truly a stand out. First floor rooms need to be updated.

"Hotel met our expectations. Our kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The lobby was decorated beautiful for the holidays. Staff were all friendly. We had trouble with room service, but they were patience and accomodating in correcting the problems. The beds slept wonderful! We will most likely stay here again. Was a great deal for the price we paid."

It was nice and staff was friendly. My room door didn't lock when the door shut. I had to push it up. Hotel was very nice.
