It was indeed luxury (& expensive) stay! The room was clean, swimming pool was very enjoyable with a pool bar. I liked to sit in the lobby to order cappuccino & the staff were friendly. Both exterior & interior were very elegant! The location is not in a city center but that was fine because you can always take a taxi from the hotel or even walk. Unfortunately guest was also not allowed to bring food from outside & in fact there was not many restaurants & shops along the arcade. That's the only weakness in Sheraton Addis, otherwise, it was a pleasant stay!

Odd one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in is in Ethiopia...I was on a business trip so cannot comment on the value for your money, but paying or not you won't be disappointed. Excellent food with great selection. After entering the Sheraton compound, you feel as though you've just driven into one of the finer parts of Europe.

my stay at this hotel was very delightful. i realy enjoyed the breath air at the hotel. the bar and the kichen go togather. the waitress are very friendly so you can feel as if you are at home.
