It was My 3rd visit to this Hotel but my 4th at a Sheraton. Greatings always fantastic. Like the location. The personel is outstanding.

Hotel was very nice and clean. We needed an extra night, and the front desk was very rude and unhelpful! I was informed that they didn't have any available rooms before the clerk even looked at computer. I called travel website from our room and got the reservation for the next night within minutes. Walking downstairs and handing the confimation number to the desk clerk was very gratifying!

This hotel was a great pick if you want to be somewhat outside the downtown Chicago area. However, there weren't many places directly near the hotel itself to eat, shop, etc. The staff was friendly and the rooms were wonderful - nice and large! The only thing I was not super impressed with were the prices in the hotel restaurant/room service/etc. One evening we decided to order desert to our room, and just for two pieces of pie and no drinks, our tab was $26.00. The desert was delicious, but not quite that delicious.

I like the suits. This Hotel was overall good except for the check-in time which was 3 pm.

supposedly stayed for 3 nights, but due to weather conditions , my flight was cancelled so ended up staying for another night...not that i mind, its one of my favorite hotels to stay. service was great, staff were helpful and accomodating. complimentary hot apple cider came in handy while waiting for the shuttle to the airport. housekeeping was amazing..my room was spotless clean , even requested for extra toiletries ( shampoo & condtioner) and my wish was granted every single day of my stay...... and of course not to mention the sleeper bed which is soooo "heavenly". oveall, it was a great stay...amazing ! but parking could've been waived ( 15 bucks per day ), food wasnt great and way tooo expensive ( luna restaurant) m i going back ?....of course its sheraton !

Hotel itself it nice. I wasn't very impressed by the room. I usually perfer to stay at the sheraton suites because of the extra room and the amenities. The gateway was kinda a let down for me. While the room was spacious the decor seemed very dated, Its definately time for a MAJOR renovation to the rooms. The other Sheraton Suites that I've stayed in were contemporary and modern while this one had more of an old feel too it. Maybe they were going for that art deco look but it really didn't work for me, it obvious from examing some of the furnisings in the living area (i.e. the in room refrigerator) that they were just plain old.

OK for sleeping but not very nice, wasnt so clean and had a dripping water tap which do annoy when trying to sleep. Rather expensive breakfast (17 usd)and had to pay for parking. For conveniance to the airport this would be just about OK.

this was my first time here....the room was very clean and nice....staff was great...room service prompt and polite....dinner was huge.....lol..........and best of all....the bus driver who took me to the airport was fantastic.....he helped me out a lot since I don't travel much and was alone...perfect stay..thank you.

My boyfriend and I came to Chicago to meet up with some friends and see a Cubs game. The hotel was is really good driving distance to Wrigleyville or even take the METRA (take free hotel shuttle to airport) if you don't want to park. I would also have to say the beds are extremely comfortable. I usually wake up at home with a sore back and I am constantly going to a chiropracor. However, the two mornings I woke up here my back never hurt for those days at all. I want one of those beds!

I enjoyed the hotel it was beautiful, however I did not like they charged my credit card after I had incurred no charges and I saw it on my bill when I got home. I was unable to get room service other than that the location was great, staff could have been a little more pleasant, the location was nice.

We arrived at the Sheraton Gateway at approximately 7pm on a Saturday evening. There was only one person working, so I waited in line for 22 minutes to check in. After checking in, the employee informed me that there is a $15 per day fee to park. That wasn't disclosed previous to the booking. Next, the pool was horribly dirty, as well as the hot tub. The room, although decorated nicely, was old and there was nasty paint falling from the ceiling. The bathroom appeared dirty, but was just worn down. There was absolutely no hot water. Horrible. Won't go back!

THe hotel was very nice, but a bit to expensive for me. The price for the room was'nt bad but when they charge you to park your car 12.oo a day, that was crazy to me. The reaturant was very expensive and nonething to brag about. My biggest problem was while we were gone one day we had a do not disturb sign hangiing on door and they went into room anyway and let my cat out.She was out all day, found her hiding under soda machine in the hall.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Chicago for a short stay. It is conveniently located next to O'Hare airport. The suites are quite large, with a large flat screen TV in both the bedroom and living area.

me and my husband stayed at the sheraton gateway suites for 8 days and we loved the hotel, spacious bedroom, very comfortable bed, great staff, and most of all very clean. very convenient shuttle service to the metro station, which we made use of every day. we loved our vacation and will visit again next year, we recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this area.

Check in slow and NO FREE BREAKFAST here as one review states only * buffet , female clerk was very rude in pointing this out- no greeting, Clean rooms, but...(bottled water in room *, local calls *), third floor view of trash littered roof, cloud of smoke from smoking rooms by elevator to get to our nonsmoking room, swimming pool nice but overcrowded with creepy characters-motel 8 atmoshere in a nice package, had to run across 8 lanes to McDs for breakfast. Overpriced mediochre food at complex- hence the 5 people seen eating there our whole trip. Not worth the saved.
