The Sheraton is a great hotel to stay at for a weekend trip to D.C. and was definitely worth the money we paid. My husband and I appreciated the convenience of having a Metro stop right across the street from the hotel. The rooms were clean and modern looking. I would definitely stay there again especially for the bargain price we got on the room.

Great location. Trade down on the weekend was bad. Trade down to high school student group on weekend left me next to noisy kids. Requested change brought me to much quieter room, glad the hotel was not booked!

A great place to stay for the conference I attended in Crystal City in early March. Pricing was very fair and the location to the Metro made it very convenient. Also, the shuttle to/from Regan National made it E-Z. The staff was very accomodating to meet our needs (I had two rooms booked). I will definitely stay there again.

Perfectly adequate hotel. We would stay there again. Close to Metro subway with about a 10 minute ride to central D.C. although, when we were there we waited quite a while for the trains. An outstanding restaurant area maybe a third of a mile away with a good variety of different cuisines. Very close to Reagan National. Pool is outdoors and had not yet opened when we were there in mid-May which was disappointing. The main drawback was the lack of tourist info about D.C. in the room or even at front desk and no concierge service. There was also a nice underground mall with small shops close by. I usually avoid Sheratons but this one proved to be pretty acceptable in many respects.

Convenient to Metro. Can get to many places in Washington in 10-20 minutes.

This is a perfectly adequate conference-style hotel (traditional rooms, nice enough lobby, not too many fancy things), but its location is what makes it attractive. It is less than a 5-minute walk, literally just around the corner (under the bridge), from the Crystal City metro stop. You can jump on metro and head south two stops for a fun time in Alexandria or go north up to the "city" for a great DC experience. The price is also very attractive. If you're looking just to stay local, there are plenty of shops and restaurants in Crystal City nearby. Overall, we were happy with this weekend getaway and will look to stay hear again.

We stayed at this hotel for the weekend and found it to be clean and neat. We had a king room on the 12th floor that was new and very clean. Lobby was clean but there was some evidence of renovations going on in the lounge there. Location is close to everything and easy drive from hotel to downtown D.C. I definitely would stay there again if I traveled to D.C. Price for that weekend was 79.00 per night which was an excellent value!

I have stayed in 4 other hotels in this area and this was the best! The others were quite good also but the Sheraton excelled in their service. Always very friendly, quick to offer help even before you might ask (approaching the front desk for example). Different staff might also ask you how your day or trip was going and offer suggestions as well. It goes without saying that the rooms and common areas were very appealing and in spotless condition. The rooms were very quiet as well. am afraid That I cannot comment on the pool and fitness center as there was no time to use these; I am sure they are up to the standards exemplified elsewhere. There is free computer access in the lobby for guests (4 stations at least) and June was Guest Appreciation Month so there were free coffee and pastries in the lobby mornings and late afternoons. All in all a superb stay!! Highly recommended for individuals, couples, and families

Close to transportation (1 block away) and food district (3 blocks away). Not as beautiful as expected (compared to Marriott Ward man Park). The staffis friendly. We called for early check in, they said they will fix it up and call me when ready. They called back in 30 minutes. We arrived during Guest Appreciation Month so internet was free, morning pastries and coffee, evening hor'dourves. The hotel doesn't look nor feel like 3.5 star. More like a 2.75 or 3 star.

There are 3 elevators and one was constantly breaking down and all 3 were extremely slow. The key cards had to be replaced 3 times during our 4 day stay. The staff went through the motions but didn't really go out of their way to try and fix the problem.The air conditioning in the room needs work. The thermostat was set on 50 and the room was still too warm to sleep with anything other than a sheet to cover yourself. The restaurant staff could be better organized for the buffet breakfast. The price for the buffet was different for each member of our group. They would bring another table's bill to ours, forget to bring coffee and tea until reminded a couple of time.

The room was very clean and neat. Parking was $22.00 per day to park in the underground parking deck. I ordered my room on Orbitz.com, but after I got there and was told that my room was already paid for through Orbitz, I later got home and saw that the hotel charged an additional $100 to my card for incidentals. Usually this wouldn't be a problem, but one, they never told me about it, and two, I gave them a card thinking it was just to verify who I was. I was told the money wouldn't be refunded for another 5 days! But anyway, the hotel has a very nice lobby and friendly staff. It is located just minutes from D.C. and the waterfront.

Great hotel! Service and staff were great and room was very clean. The only downside was being charged to park in the hotel parking deck (App. $25 for the night). I assume that all of D.C. is like that though. Other than that the location was great. Only a 5min. drive from downtown D.C. and a walk away from restraunts and shopping. Location in Crystal City is fabulous. Absolutely loved it.

My family and I stayed at the Sheraton in Crystal City. It was beautiful. The hotel was clean as well as the room. It was a nice sized room for my family and the staff was professional and corteous. We will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Couldn't believe how nice the rooms were. Only complaint I really had was the TV in the room didn't work 100% of the time. Other than that had a very pleasant stay. Didn't have to go very far for anything either. Just a block behind the hotel are the Crystal City Shops. Lots of shopping and restaurants there.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was between those of school's visit to DC. We called security because of the late night & early morning noise in the wall. The hotel was excellent except for our room assignment mentioned in the previous comment regarding the school trip. The school guests should have been put in a more isolated area away from other guest. Parking charges were very high.

This hotel was a nice surprise for the price. It was across the street from the Metro which was an added benefit. The check in staff was extremely helpful in calling for information on restaurant locations to the Metro. It was a quiet room. Or the people were more considerate than at the hotel in Charlotte,NC that we stayed at last month. I saw on the Sheraton website that they offer Starbucks coffee in the rooms, so looked forward to that, but alas, it was not. Small disappointment, thank goodness I brought my own. If like me you are a first timer to this area, don't use Mapquest directions to the Hotel, it was confusing and I ended up having to stop and ask how to get there. The pool is on the 16th floor, (roof) and people commented on it, but I never made it up there personally. So consider the Sheraton in Crystal City when going to this area.
