We felt welcomed from the moment we parked our car to attend our son's plush wedding reception until we drove home 2 days later! Each and Every staff member was couteous, polite and extreemly professional in their actions and demeneour. We were treated as family, not as guests-it was a truly lovely experience overall.Thankyou so very much!

Great location, great service, good value. Would stay there again.

We find this hotel to be extremely comfortable and pleasant. Plus, it's very close to our daughter's graduate school (the reason for our trip). However, if we're lucky, we can treat our stay there like a mini-vacation.

The room had a wonderful big desk that made work very easy. And it is close to Harvard Square. The fitness center is minimally equipped.

Built in the 1920s, but completely renovated, this is hotel is a wonderful place to stay during the holidays. This was our second holiday stay. The location can't be beat (a short walk to Harvard Square and the subway) and it seems to be quiet during the holidays. The staff left treats for us in our room on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. There is a small shop and a large restaurant. There is a business center and a fitness center, but we didn't use those. Note that parking is expensive, but this a perfect place to visit without a car if you want to see Boston.

It was just one night so such a short visit doesn't require much. The room was fine, bed was super comfy, the staff was very nice and got some toothpaste for us b/c we had forgotten it! I was a little disappointed that they didn't have soy milk or any milk alternative, though I can't say it was really expected. I'm vegan and used to it, though I was have been extra excited if I could have had cereal with my fruit for breakfast.

Ambiance, historical location. No free internet in room, no extras such as chocolates, bathrobe, shower cap.

This is an old hotel, but with modern upgrades. It is very convenient to the hub of Cambridge, accessible by public transport from the train station. The room was lovely. Although ours was directly over the entrance and on a main thoroughfare, it was deliciously quiet. Check in was a breeze, and the staff is very friendly. The cost per night could not be beat. Should I have the opportunity to visit Cambridge again, this hotel would be my first choice.

The down comforters were super-soft, and the complimentary starbucks coffee in the room was a welcome perk. The parking was expensive (but convenient). Nicely decorated rooms with plush beds, a large TV, and starbucks coffee to brew in-room.A short walk or cab ride from harvard square. Overnight parking is $30-- convenient and safe but take into account when pricing.

Knew the rooms should be of a good size.

Nice television and electronics in room, short walk to Harvard Sq. The hotel elevator was very small. It is a beautiful hotel. If you don't mind staying a five minute walk from Harvard Sq you can save a decent amount of money. Rooms are well appointed and the staff was friendly. The views are mediocre but I didn't expect much from the Harvard area. Not a lot to see other than brick buildings. I would stay there again for sure.

Excellent service on the part of the staff; the room was absolutely clean. The quality of food; change the chef. Excellent for the price. Friendly environment. Great service and location. Very clean. Quiet and nice. The food in the restaurant was not good at all. The menu looks great on paper - interesting dishes, but there is no quality in it whatsoever. I would come back to this hotel, but I would not dine in their premises.

The front desk staff was great. The pillows smelled like cheap perfume. I complained because the AC was very noisy, our room was over the band, the pillows were very smelly. The front desk was very kind but they didn't do anything to fix the problem. In the morning, they credited almost the full amount of room service meal ($40) because I was unhappy which was nice.

Staff was excellent. Noise level from street. Perfect location; near mass transit, cultural facilities, excellent surrounding area, clean and very helpful staff.

Beautiful, great location, pleasant staff. Heating system was a bit noisy, but not unduly. I have stayed at the Sheraton Commander a number of times. It is an excellent hotel with attractive rooms, dedicated staff, and a great location. I highly recommend it. There are other fine hotels in the Harvard Square area, but much more expensive.

Exceptionally flexible and friendly. There is nothing I did not like about the hotel. My daughter was taking a class at Harvard u over the weekend. They checked me into the room at 8:30 am and allowed me to stay until 4pm after check out which was an immense help. Excellent staff and parking.

Great amount of space in my room. Nice lobby area. My windows stared into other hotel guests rooms. Couldn't leave shades open. Other than being told that my room would overlook Harvard square, when in fact it looked straight into the windows of other hotel guests, it was a nice room and very convenient just 2 blocks to Harvard square.

Immaculate rooms, friendly staff, close to train station. Costs $25 to park your car in the hotel lot. This hotel is beautiful inside. The rooms are very comfortable and immaculately clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful with directions and local information.
