We used SPG points and stayed 3 nights for free. That was great! The first morning we did get a wake up call, calling us about our welcome kit. It is not a welcome kit, it is a discounted entertainment guide for tours. Discounts are only if you attend a timeshare presentation. They were a little pushy persuading us to attend the presentation. We stayed Dec 2008 on the 20th floor, to be exact in room 2021 with a great view and comfortable beds but no hot water. We had to shower with cold water. Everything else was great. The bar by the pool had great service and the Sunday brunch with Mariachi was perfect.

We booked with www.travelinfinite.co.uk - and we were really pleased with the results (we were directed to the best rates with Expedia.co.uk ). The Seraton P.V. is at a great location (close to Historic Down Town), pool and pool service is very good. We were not over impressed with Room Service breakfast, however the Breakfast Buffet at La Palapa was excellent (the staff went out of their way to please). We opted for the newly refurbished Tower / club level 23 and had use of the club lounge for light snacks and Cont Bfast (we only used it once, it was a nice touch although sad to see some people really abusing it - 5 plates of snacks at a time and embarrassing tip for the staff!!) As we are not the fully inclusive types as we prefer to eat out (for dinner especially) and also prefer premium brand drinks. Whilst food and beverages are pricy to say the least, the Sheraton @ PV Club Level rooms were excellent. We are very happy with Travelinfinte.co.uk and even more so that they were able to find the best rate at Expedia.co.uk - we will use both services again!

The room was definately not what we were shown online, however it had a balcony which we were not expecting, which led to no complaints from us. We stayed in the time share portion which is much older than the "new hotel" If your looking for an upscale modern room, request the hotel...which have no balcony unless you request a suite top floor only. $$$ Swim up bar was awesome! Don't let people tell you not to go during low season because of the rain!!! Only rains at night if at all, very hot and sunny! FUn FUn FUn

The overall hotel experience far exceeded our expectations. The tile floor was a little dirty, but other than that the room was great. A nice oceanview studio with everything we needed in the kitchenette. The view was spectacular, whales surfacing and spouting. The grounds are well kept with beautiful flowers and lush foliage everywhere. The pools are great. The beach is a bit rocky, not as good as some in the area, but better than many. The staff is great. We thought the location was convenient, close to El Centro with lots of restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment. Busses coming by every few minutes make travel convenient if not comfortable. The staff was wonderful. I recommend the relaxing massage out on the jetty. We think Sheraton Buganvilia was a great place to stay for the money we spent. We don't travel often but will be going back.

The Hotel rooms are very clean with nice views of the bay. The rooms are updated with flatscreens tvs and the is staff very nice. The bad part of the hotel is the beach area. The area is full of rocks and is hard to walk on. The pool area is decent with the exception that they closed the pool bar to early and provide no service in the pool area after 7 pm. Avoid the Sunday brunch. I saw flies landing on the food and the food was not worth the money. Otherwise the place was okay. Across the street is a restaurant called 100 % natural. The food is better and less expensive.

I hated this place. It was pretty but it was a false illusion everyone there knew seemed to be functioning with one brain cell. I hated this hotel and the staff this place made me not want to come back to Mexico or a Sheraton event the spa was a joke. This hotel was horrible. On the surface it was beautiful but overall this place sucked. When we first checked in and went to our room there was a 4X3 stain on our comforter. If I has to guess it looked like dried human discharge. There were 4 other smalled stains. When we alerted the hotel they said they would send the manager. We explained we had not eaten yet so if they could expedite. A cleaning lady came with a new duvet cover that also had a stain on it. After 40 minutes a woman names Cecilia showed up who was supposed to be the manager but she explained she could do nothing. We waited 40 minutes for someone who showed up because they were standing in for the manager. There were several other things that happened but I don't even want to waist my time on writing them down. Do not stay at this hotel you will regret it.

I have stayed here almost 20 times over the past 4 years, and I will continue to come back. I will say that it is not the nicest property in Puerto Vallarta, but it still is very nice. The staff there are all amazing, and they make us feel like family. Everytime we return we hear from many employees "welcome to your second home." The rooms get cleaned everyday, and are comfortable. I personally prefer the garden palapa rooms, they are the cheapest, and I think are the best quality. The food is really good, I only ever eat the lunch, but we go there everyday for lunch and find it good. They have activities by the pool everyday, which are always the same, and have been the same for 4 years but they're still fun. Overall, the best part of this hotel is the staff, they're so great and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to others, it is a great value for the price. Also, it is very close to downtown which is so nice!

Our room was spectacular, staff was super friendly and most of restaurants were great. This was a beautiful hotel, well maintained and our room was huge.

The hotel was very nice--clean, good service, friendly staff, and comfortable. Upon checkout, we noticed and item "Donpal" on the bill, for 12.70 pesos (about 90 cents US) and asked about it. The clerk said it was for a children's charity and they add it to everyone's bill. If we didn't want to contribute, they would take it off the bill. We heard other customers asking about the same item. We don't mind contributing to a charity, but it would be nice if they asked if we'd like to do so, instead of just adding it to the bill and not saying anything until asked about it. We'd stay at the Sheraton again and would recommend it to anyone.

I thought the room was nice and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I did not think that the food was very good overall. Great location, walking distance from downtown Puerto Vallarta. Nice pool, not great. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a room on the third floor with a view of the ocean. The room was very big, clean, and nice. It had a very large balcony that could fit a small party (approximately 10 people). The food was not really that good. The breakfast buffet is pretty good, but a little pricey. The pools were okay, but there are definitely much better pools in other resorts in PV.

This resort was very clean. The staff was always cleaning. They were also very friendly and helpful. It was a nice place for a family trip. We would return again and recommend to any one else interested in going to this resort.

First time to PV and consider this an excellent location and property for a home base. Resort style amenities were also exceptional. Pool is a little shallow as one reviewer pointed out, but who's diving in anyway. Beach not as beautiful as Mismaloya but also not remote and far away from everything. Walk to town is easy, but remember very hot in August. Taxi's cheap $., buses easy to catch and cheap = cents, but bumpy ride. On-site restaurants a little pricey but excellent in taste and service (check out the Sunday brunch, Fiesta feel). Many great restaurants in Downtown and Zona Romatica; only a 5 min. taxi ride. Would definitely consider another stay; hopefully soon.

I went to a wedding there and it was very nice for the event. Ceremony over the waters, during sunset. Perfect setting for reception and photos. Fireworks. Then dinner in nice location. Good food. I heard for a really good price. Then as a vacation also very comfortable. Easy access to the beach. Not the best beach, but you can find others around town, and with easy access. Only down side is they charge for everything, internet, phone calls, etc...but not too expensive. And that's just how things are there. Any where you go the people would like to take your money. But over all for a vacation, very inexpensive.

Great view and able to upgrade easily. Cleaning staff came very late in the day, interrupting our stay. I enjoyed the overall experience at the hotel. The view from our hotel room was fantastic at night and we changed to a better room without much difficulty.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The service was very good, rooms were kept clean and the staff was very polite and helpful, the location of the hotel is another plus. We are looking forward to make it here next summer again.
