Great location to access early AM flight. Very nice accommodations. A bit pricy, especially for breakfast.

We stayed here on the last day of a two-week trip through France, Germany and The Netherlands -- the hotel is literally connected to Schipol Airport, yet we never heard a single plane. The beds are great, the Runway restaurant is really good, with friendly service. Being right at the airport makes catching your flight so easy. The hotel even has departure boards for the airlines on the lobby level and on your televisions to check. We would definitely stay here again and I'd recommend it to all my friends.

The room was cool and quiet. A great way to rest and recover before the long flight home. And, so convenient. Off the train, the hotel was a short walk. After a brief rest, it was so convenient to return to the terminal for the Global Refund and some toiletries. This way I didnt have to bother with those chores before my morning flight. Also, on flight day, no worries about a late cab---just walk 5 minutes to the terminal on the interior walkway---without getting wet from the rain or having to dodge cabs. After a dreadful experience at a 5-star hotel earlier during this trip, the Sheraton was my little peace of heaven. Also, several terminals were available, without charge, to check my email account.

Amenities wereOK although swimming pool wasout of order. WiFi wasnot free. Staff slow to respond to issues at times. My only misgivings is that WiFi was not free but it was free at the lobby so I came down. This was good value for money. Will come here again.

My husband and I vacationed in Russia and on our return we had to change planes in Paris. Our plane was to depart at 1 p.m. and Air France went on strike at noon. I'll spare you the details, but within 24 hours Charles de Gaulle looked like the New Orleans Convention Center after Katrina. People were everywhere srambling for a way out of Paris. Twenty-four hours later when my husband and I were told that we could not get out by air for five days, we decided to take the train to anywhere to fly home. We were able to fly out of Amsterdam three days later so we opted to take the train to Amsterdam. Fortunately, Starwood Hotels has a Sheratonl right off the baggage area at Charles deGaulle airport. We asked the concierge to help us reserve space on the train and also book a room for us at the Sheraton at the airport in Amsterdam. You would think that the flight traffic would be disturbing. We didn't hear one engine. The room was fabulous, unbelievably comfortable and full of amenities. The food was a feast each morning. The staff was elegant, friendly and most accommodating. If you think you'll be too far away from the city, the transportation to and from the airport is plentiful and speedy whether by bus or train. We always wanted to go to Amsterdam, but not by accident. By the time we flew out of there after two nights, you would have thought we planned the trip thanks to the thoughtful, experienced concierges at Starwood.

It took a while to check in and they did not give me the wake-up call and I almost missed my flight in the morning.

Location, room size, quality of toiletry. Paid Internet in the rooms. Great Hotel and very friendly staff members, always prepared to help.

The staff was very attentive, the hotel is clean and rooms were a good size. No airport noise whatsoever despite its location. Contrary to the amenities listed many places, it has not had a pool for at least a couple of years. Overall- high-quality and a hallway from the airport and rail station, which have lots of eating and shopping options.

The sign on the door says Welcome Home and we felt both welcome and at home in the hotel. The main plus was the convenience of being attached to the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. We did not use the amenities and were only there for an overnight stay for a connecting flight. The staff was friendly and helpful, though the hotel was not very busy.

Fast walk from gate to hotel door with world market near. There was nothing I did not like. The front desk is fast and efficient in getting you checked in and out; walk from airport gate to the hotel in just 8 minutes. Cute Runway bar in lobby--serves quick snacks and coffees; great concierge floor update available; bed linens superb. Quiet with no airport noise and dark drapes for sleeping; great Dutch foods in World Market nearby in airport mall, great stay!

Hotel was everything it was portrayed to be. Conveniently located, staff was wonderful, rooms very comfortable. We were only able to spend two days in Amsterdam and the convenience of being able to catch the train or bus from the airport to basically anywhere we wanted to go was wonderful. We hope to have the opportunity to travel to Amsterdam again and will definitely stay there.

The rooms are very luxurious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful especially in expediting check-out to avoid delays in getting to airline check-in. This hotel is minutes via walkway to the airline check-in desks and the train station, all without leaving the airport complex.

Right at the airport, no shuttle needed, it's in the terminal; plane to be in 15 minutes. Made reservation and was told I could not check in till 3 pm. Arrived at 11am. Others were being given rooms while I was not. The hotel is very conveniently placed inside the airport, just a short walk from the baggage claim. No shuttle needed, wheel your luggage on a cart right to the desk. Room was nicely appointed, clean and fairly large size. Unfortunately I arrived at 11 am and was told the room would not be ready until 3 or 4 pm jetlagged and tired I wanted to crash for a bit. No luck. Even though there were others who were being given rooms. They did hold onto my luggage while I hung out groggily in the lounge for 4 hours.

If you ever have layovers at Schipol (AMS) Airport, you'd be silly not to stay at the Sheraton. The hotel is right inside the airport (but it's still remarkably quiet inside your room), so if there are luggage problems, delays, etc., it's extremely convenient-- you can go check in and get some sleep, without having to hang around the airport to get your stuff. The beds are out of this world-- crazy comfortable! And the train station is also connected (about a 1-minute walk) so downtown Amsterdam is only a 6-Euro round-trip ticket away. Best part: if you're arriving from the US, you get to AMS in the very early morning (about 7 am) and they will allow you to check in THAT early-- with no extra night's charge! I stay here 2-3 times per year, whenever I connect at AMS. And I plan to do so each time I connect there in the future. One of my favorite hotels for business in the world.

The Hotel is very nice and every thing was in very good order eccept for the Bed Room which it has the Side Bed Lamps very near to the bed that an enjury to the head could be very probale if not very good care has been taken of. Wrong interior design. Thats All and the rest is of the bestst.

Great location and accommodations. Have to pay for internet. This hotel was great. Exactly what I needed at the end of a long business trip.

My wife and I found the Schiphol Sheraton to surpass our expectations. I expected the least they had to offer, but if that was the least, then I am amazed. The check-in clerk was extra courteous and knowledgable. The room was plush, contemporary, yet tasteful. The large bathtub and separate large shower were exciting finds for my wife and I. The marble floored bathroom was gorgeous. Also, our room was quiet, with no sounds of airplanes going overhead. We did not eat at any of the restaurants, due to late arrival and early departure. But there were complimentary croissants and coffee for early departees as we exited the hotel. The location, just 200 yards from the escalators down to the airport check-in desks, can't be beat for convenience. Great place to stay.

Terrible experience. They did not clean room; A/C did not work; billing was wrong. Avoid this hotel.
