What are your breakfast options?

Breakfast is available in our waterfront restaurant, North Food and Wine, at AUD$36 per adult and AUD$18 per child for full buffet breakfast. Or we also have the Continental option available at AUD$22 per adult and $11 per child. Breakfast will open at 6:30am daily and close at 10:30am.

What can I do nearby?

The Shangri-La Marina Cairns is located 5-10 minutes’ walk from shopping and 1 minute from the Cairns Esplanade brimming with local restaurants of every description. Or without even leaving the hotel, our Boardwalk encompasses up to 8 different restaurants. As we are located 15 seconds’ walk from the Reef Fleet Terminal and the Helipad, guests are spoilt for choice for local tours with our very own Tour Desk located next to our Reception for any and all tour bookings and assistance.

We are happy to provide complimentary wireless broadband in all of our rooms for your convenience.

What transport is available to get around?

All major points in town are within walking distance of 5-10 minutes' walk such as to Cairns Central Shopping Centre and 5 minutes Rusty's Markets. Although Cairns does not have a beach within the town itself, there are public transport options such as bus services that run out to the beaches daily.

Taxis are always readily available at ranks scattered across town and are available at the airport for the 10-25 minutes' drive between the airport and the Shangri-La.

Do you provide parking?

We have public outdoor and underground parking available next to and beneath the hotel. Valet parking is available at AUD$15 per day for guests or if the guests would prefer to self-park, there are hourly parking fees that will apply.
