The Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur is a very good hotel, very comfortable. The location is very good.

Hotel was ok, I felt like the lady that checked us in gave us the least desirable room due to the internet price, did offer to charge more for a room with a view. 1st told us breakfast was included then told us it was not. Good location, Pool was fair. I would not go back to this hotel. I would go back to the Mandarin Oriental. Love Malaysia and the people. Great City.

Amazingly creative recipes, perfectly cooked, with only fresh ingredients. I'm a big food lover, traveling all over from Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris to Montecalro Louis XV. I can say that I have tasted pretty much of 'top' chefs' masterpieces. But I can tell, this restaurant was pleasant surprise in KL. Chef X used to work for 'Elbulli' where the waiting list for the table is the longest in the world. Of course, you can experience bit of 'elbulli's magical creation'. Food, decoration, ambiance all good. Almost too good to be in KL. I;m sure chef X will be a big big name within few years in gastronomic industry. Lunch set was totally satisfying, you can find chef's witty and humorous side from his dishes. Dinner was also spectacular. Chef's tasting menu can compete with those of Pierre Ganaiere. Go and exprience if you're into food. ***** Five stars! (One thing: if you're non-smoker, the space is kind of mixed up...u can still smell it very well.)
