The Shadow Run Condominiums offer comfort at a reasonable price less than a mile south of the ski area, right on the free city ski shuttle route. Guests enjoy a heated outdoor pool, two outdoor hot tubs and a sauna. These one, two, and two bedroom plus loft condominiums are located just 500 yards from the ski area, and the free city ski shuttle service will carry you to the slopes in just minutes. Check-in is 4pm and check-out is 10am. Minimum age required at check-in is 21. Check-in is located at 2145 Resort Drive Suite 100. Please have your confirmation number and a valid ID. Check-in time is after 4pm on day of arrival. Although we try to have every unit ready by 4pm during busy times there may be delays. No refunds will be given due to delays. The following cleaning fees will be collected upon check-in for all two night stays- 1 bedroom - USD 20.00, 2 bedroom, 2 bedroom w/ loft - USD 35.00. There are no cleaning fees for stays of 3 days or more. Check-in is 4pm and check-out is 10am. Minimum age required at check-in is 21. Check-in is located at 2145 Resort Dr., Suite 100. Please have your confirmation number and valid ID at check-in. If arriving after hours please check-in at the Mountain Resorts office located at 2145 Resort Dr., Steamboat Springs. We rented a 1 BR condo at Shadow Run in late March, after most of the skiing season. The management office warned us that it might be a little "worn" when we got there, but it was really in pretty good shape. Very clean, good location, no surprises. Pretty much a no-frills place, but the washer & dryer was handy (but very small), as was the ski locker (which was quite large). Each room had individual thermostats, but I don't think it is air conditioned in the summer. Only drawbacks: the bed in the sleeper-sofa was awful, the swimming pool was not centrally located and was very small, and some of the drawers in the kitchen were in disrepair. But these were minor concerns when balanced with a clean, well-kept property with good maid service, a flat panel TV with VCR/DVD and cable (incl. free HBO), and a decent location. I'd stay there again. Mountain Resorts mgmt. was very professional, but refused to comp me for the awful bed.

My friends and I have been staying at this resort once a year for a couple years. The rooms are great with tons of space, and the price is certainly competitive. Give them a shot!
